A quaint little gem, just outside the touristy area, with easy street parking and indoor/outdoor seating. We started our meal with the jalapeño poppers, which were stuffed with pulled pork and wrapped in bacon. This appetizer was melt-in-your-mouth-good and we were so glad we tried it. The fresh baked soft pretzel with craft fondue and grain mustard was also excellent--so fresh with a perfect amount of salt. The craft fondue was a decadent and perfect compliment for the pretzel. After reading reviews, we decided to try the NY chicken and waffles and pretzel pie for our entrees and we're not disappointed. The chicken was boneless but well battered and seasoned and served piping hot and crispy on top of savory cheddar waffles, bathed in a white pepper gravy, and served with maple syrup on the side. The waffles could have been a bit sturdier, to hold up to the gravy, but it was still solid comfort food. The pretzel dough pizza crust was a cool novelty, but a bit too crisp for my taste. We tried the GOAT pie, which had chicken (a little dry), caramelized onions (a bit undercooked), portobello mushrooms, bacon, craft fondue, and goat cheese. The flavor was pleasing and the leftovers reheated well. I just wish the crust had a better chew to it. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely stop by again if in the area.
