Had the opportunity to check out Hudson for their mock services and was blown away by the decor, the staff and the food. From moment we stepped through the door we received a warm welcome from all the staff from the hostess to the bartender to our server, Nick. Friendly and accommodating, everyone seemed to be in good spirits and extremely helpful throughout our entire visit. More importantly, the meal was amazing. Chef George truly has a talent and an art for food. The presentation was right on point. Everyone at the table were huge fans of the Lobster Potato Skins and the Burger. A couple of us thought the Pear and Endive salad was fantastic. The halibut was perfectly cooked as was the Braised Short Rib. The side that came with the Short Ribs- mix of veggies, fingerlings and white beans- could use a little something for taste but overall it was okay. Lastly, the atmosphere, I mean you can't beat the waterfront location. Wished they had a bar out on the patio (we did hear they are planning to install one at a later date). The music selection could use a little work, wasn't really into it. Overall had a great time and can't wait to come back when they actually open next Monday!

I had a great experience on Valentine's day with my wife. It was our first time there and we were treated like regulars. The service was a perfect 10. Every item we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection. We loved the ambiance and the design of the restaurant. You can tell that the staff loves working there as everyone that we saw was happy and willing to help. The menu and drink selections are fantastic. We will be back!

I'm really pleased to see what has developed at Hudson. I visited about 3 weeks ago and had one of the best meals I've had in a long time. A great setting right on the water with a selection of local craft beers on tap as well as an upscale classic cocktail menu. I highly recommend!

Im surprised this place only has 3.8 stars. I've been to hudson three times. Every time has been great. No issues with the service or food. Although, Ive only been there on weekdays and last time was during the super bowl. Didn't seem too busy. My boyfriend loves the burger and i love the chicken milanese. The milanese comes with arugula and i usually ask them to replace it with romaine. They have no problem doing it, so I'm very pleased. My only wish is that they had a little more variety on the menu. :)

A friend and I decided to try our new Delray dining restaurant - not a good experience. $ 25, for salmon at lunch; $ 30 for the shrimp lunch? Give me a break. We both ordered the Chicken milanese - ($14.) and it looked good, came with parmesan fries. Halfway into the sandwich it was raw. Totally turned me off - and all we got was an "I'm so sorry" and another sandwich. Surprised that such a great looking new restaurant, would care so little about new customers. Not going back - ever.........

I visited Hudson recently and loved the experience. The atmosphere is great, the service is exceptional, the food is unique and delicious, and, most of all, the waterfront views are amazing. I dined at Hudson on a Monday evening and was very surprised how busy the restaurant was on a Monday evening. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Dined on a Saturday evening at 7:45 with a party of 5 guests. Service was bad, slow and forgetful. Offered us the special then told us it was sold out (seared tuna). The Food: Tuna Tartar (special): served in a bowl of soy sauce, tasted more like salty tuna soup. Fried Calamari: overly battered and very greasy. Mostly tentacles and very few rings. Mahi Fish Taco: completely flavourless and served on a generic white supermarket grade tortilla. Loaded with bland cabbage filler and fish was dry. Mussels: half the shells were empty and the bouillabaisse was very salty. When we were lucky enough to to find a mussel they were very small and chewy. Lobster Mac & Cheese: fairly decent amount of lobster but that's it. Sauce tasted like cheese wiz and top was covered in bread crumbs. The pasta was literally swimming in a cheese "liquid" Only redeeming quality of this restaurant was the nice location on the water. Given the price point of the food I expected much more. Where is the quality control. Does the head chef know what the kitchen is sending out. Later in the evening I had bad stomach pain.

My friend & I went to Hudson Delray on a Wednesday evening and were greeted by a blasting fire alarm. It was too loud to sit inside & decided to sit outside although it was a typically humid evening. When we ordered a Happy Hour flatbread and wings, the bartender recommended one off the regular menu saying it was much better. The wings were great but this "better" flatbread was ill-prepared and tasteless. I thought it would have been a positive for the MOD to stop and speak to the few people that stuck it out under the circumstances. All in all a mediocre experience in a beautiful setting.
