What a great place for a solo Birthday Lunch. Came to town for the Headless Horseman shabang, and walked over to this wonderful restaurant. Food and beer were great. Waiting time was less then 10 minutes for a solo dinner without reservations. Lisette was the most mostest awesome server and the other staff, extremely attentive. I just wanted some good fish and chips. Boring perhaps, but check the pictures. They speak for themselves.

We started with the buffalo shrimp and a cu cu drink, both of which were very solid and a good start to the meal. Unfortunately, the mains were mostly disappointing. The burger, pizza, and skirt steak were all pretty underwhelming. The whole fish and fish and chips were better, more on the decent side. I was also hoping for a better table, since we were seated in the inner indoor room which felt a bit stuffy, especially with such a beautiful view outside. Service was okay, nothing special but nothing bad either. Overall, some hits and misses.

Lovely view right by the water, great location for outdoor dining and sunsets. The servers were quick and nice as well, but the food was underwhelming, especially for the steep price. The lobster roll was over toasted and hard to chew, the lobster itself didn’t taste fresh. The fish and chips had too much breading on the fish. The oysters were fresh. The yellow gazpacho didn’t have much taste. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for foodies, but maybe other dishes are better.

My family and I went last night to the restaurant, we were a party of seven. They were a little slow bringing out the food, but other wise they were awesome. I am definitely taking my family back again and the server Lisa is awesome! As she mentioned she is a star and the brightest one at Hudson Farmer & The Fish Restaurant.

Beautiful view - the food and service were mediocre. The lobster roll was blah. I really wanted to love this place —the menu looked promising and the atmosphere was inviting. Unfortunately, the experience just didn’t live up to expectations.

Cute place, but definitely overpriced. I got the scallop salad and it was good, but not exceptional. The quinoa salad with salmon was also good, but not worth $35+. Overall the vibe was good and we liked the outside seating and the water view

What a lovely find. So MANY helpful and welcoming servers tended to out every need. The food was very good. The drinks were awesome and on time. Thank you for a great experience on our way from NC to CT.

Started off strong. Drinks were good and service to the dog by the bus boy staff was greatly appreciated. But lemme tell you one thing, wait staff was trash. They got both of our orders wrong giving us the opposite of what we ordered. I got the cold lobster roll, they gave me the hot. My finance got the quinoa salad and they gave her the scallop salad. They left the wrong lobster roll on the table for until they brought the right salad and then corrected lobster roll and took another 15 minutes. So we did not share lunch we watched each other eat lunch. It was not good service. Arguably the worst part about this place is how awful they make you feel about having a dog while claiming to be dog friendly online. They have a massive sign outside the entrance saying if your dog barks we will bring you your check and ask you to leave. Meanwhile there is a public walking path directly next to the outdoor seating with plenty of dogs. And if there was a reactive dog on the public walking path? Anyways go somewhere else. Ps. the food was insane bland. Only decent part was the fries.
