We had the absolute best time kicking off our wedding festivities with a private charter on the Hudson. The boat picked us up right outside of our hotel in Coxsackie, making it so convenient and easy for our guests. The captain and crew were so friendly and welcoming. It was a chilly evening but the boat was perfect.

We had the best experience taking the ferry from Hudson to Athens and back! Our captain and crew were professional and personable, and it was such a treat to be on the water over Memorial Day Weekend. The boat is capable, comfortable, and cute. A must-do for anyone visiting the area!

The Hudson Valley has so many treasures and Hudson Ferry Co. is definitely one of them. Our hour-long evening tour was so relaxing thanks to the beautiful scenery and awesome crew. My kid and I watched the sunset paint the river gold. Simply beautiful. Seeing an osprey and catching sight of meteors at the conclusion of our trip were also special treats. Highly recommend!!!

My wife and I took a sunset cruise on a recent Saturday night. The crew was amazing, very attentive and friendly. We went south from Hudson and went down to Catskill, including under the bridge. We were treated to a beautiful sunset and spectacular views throughout. It wasn’t busy, and we got to sit at the front of the boat to maximize the panoramic views. I’d highly recommend the sunset cruise or any others that are offered! Thanks again to the crew!

Had an amazing time with my dad on their Sightseeing: Shacks, Shipwrecks and Sandbars tour! The captain provided interesting information, answered many questions, and the ride was beautiful and relaxing! They had a nice selection of drinks onboard (we had a rose and a spritz) too. Boat is fairly small so you also won’t be with a large group. Highly recommend!

Captain Sam was fab! Safety was his first concern of course, but he eagerly offered so much interesting info about the river, lighthouse, island, and more. And he made us all feel so comfortable. Like a private boat tour. The rest of the crew was also wonderful. Bring some cash to tip them if you have a fun time.

First time taking the Ferry from Athens to Hudson and it won’t be my last! The crew is wonderful and made the experience really enjoyable. It was a great way to go to Hudson for dinner and come home without driving across the bridge. Definitely excited to continue using the ferry throughout the summer. We were really surprised to see that there’s also inside seating when it rains.
