I had a really disappointing and upsetting experience at Hudson Nails. During my pedicure, the technician scraped my ankle with the pumice stone — though I didn’t notice the scratches immediately, when I got home I felt a sticky sensation on my ankle. Upon checking, I realized it was actually dried blood, and there were visible scratches on my skin. This was both painful and alarming.
To make matters worse, the clear coat on my powder dip manicure started chipping off right after I left the salon — completely unacceptable for a fresh service.
When I called to inform the owner about both issues, she was incredibly dismissive. She claimed the scratches couldn't have come from their pumice stone and even told me she had sent video footage of my pedicure to a “physician” who apparently concluded the same — which sounded both unprofessional and invasive to share my medical complaint to a physician I gave no consent to give their opinion. I also felt as if the owner made me feel like I was scamming her business when I wasn’t even asking for anything in return.
Overall, there was zero accountability or concern for customer safety and satisfaction. I wouldn’t trust this place with your health or your nails. Please steer clear of Hudson Nails — there are far better salons that care about their clients and take responsibility when something goes wrong.
