What Will Air Travel Look Like Post-COVID 19? | Vogue

"As the only store open in the terminal that day, it stood alone amid shuttered neighbors, a solitary bright spot that underscored how empty everything felt." - Elise Taylor

Very much overpriced on almost everything. As you well know, you can’t bring bottled water through Security so unfortunately we had to purchase two bottles of water for almost $10.

The store was filthy, with trash throughout the space and the staff was extremely unfriendly and dismissive. Definitely not the experience you’d expect from a national retailer.

Airline bumbled and provided my husband and self a single meal voucher for $24 for anywhere. All 2 open restaurant rants had well over 45 minutes waits so we decided to grab a protein (jerky). I picked 2 packs and got to the counter. The girl didn't know how to ring both packs on one voucher so we ended up splitting a 2.5oz pack as our only meal today. Please consider training please or allowing the QR vouchers to be scanned at the self pay areas.

I purchased some candy that was already overpriced at $5.99. When I self checked out, it rang up as $8.59!!!!!!!When I asked the person working there about it, he said the price it rings up as is the correct price. Get it together!!!! You charge enough to hire someone update prices!!!!!

I just now stopped at the Hudson News at the St Louis Airport and spoke with CeCe. What an amazing employee. She was so informative and willing to engage which few employees are anymore. I had some extra time and love electronics so I was thinking about Christmas shopping in the days ahead. She gave me So Many great ideas and even demonstrated several items. I bought one but wanted to purchase them ALL! Way to go great employer and No, I am not her mother, REALLY!

Just like most of the other Hudson News Shops you’ll find at any given airport. Well sorted, overpriced (like everything at any airport). Good Sortiment, friendly staff.

Another set of delays (I'm looking at you American) sent me into the store. Selection was decent for the size and store was clean. Staff was more interested in their video call they were on than speaking to customers and had to be asked if another person could check out before they sighed and said sure. Pricing on everything was at a 40% markup at the least (compared a few prices online and found headphones had a $30-$50 up charge). I understand you're paying for convenience but in this day and age of internet you can't gouge too much. I overheard another employee complaining that sales were down, and commented on how cheap people are. I chuckled to myself as I sat down a pair of beats that were marked at $239.99 that I found on amazing for $175. Overall I bought a water and walked away, I just couldn't bring myself to pay those prices for products I can't get for less with a little patience.

Be careful!!!! Hudson at Lambert Airport in terminal A is running a scam. They are automatically adding a donation for $1.00 to your bill. When I asked the cashier about it she said that she was taking the Donation off the check, but she was really adding it. After I got my receipt and saw that she did add it I brought it to her attention. I was told that I can wait for a Manager but it would be a while. I AM IN AN AIRPORT GETTING ON A PLANE WHO HAS TIME TO SIT AND WAIT FOR A MANAGER? The cashier then became rude and belligerent, she started yelling at me saying that I was accusing her of stealing, she said that she does not get the money herself, “IT GOES TO THE OFFICE”. Is this a scam by Hudson???? It might only be $1.00 but how many other people do they do this to a day??? Most people never even notice it.
