Cute place, probably former train station. Free parking with pass available with manager. Pretty water views. A little crowded inside. Service a little uneven on timing but friendly. Worth it to be able to park here and walk around outside for a few minutes. Interesting trees by the water. Manager was nice.

I had a great experience with the food here! The Brussels sprouts were amazing—crispy and full of flavor. The loaded nachos were also a hit, and I ordered a salad that was fresh, tasty, and surprisingly filling. Overall, the food was absolutely delicious and definitely worth recommending. The only downside was the service. Our server seemed quite young and maybe a bit inexperienced, which showed in the level of attentiveness and pace. That said, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience because the food really stood out.

Food was good! Views great! But the drinks and service were not….look at the lavender drink I ordered. The photo online is purple and the drink clearly is not, it was not good. Told the waiter who did not care at all and just said “yeah it’s supposed to be more purple”

I rode to Dobbs Ferry from Queens with friends it was a beautiful and challenging adventure. HUDSON SOCIAL was our destination, too bad we didn’t find it. It was a few feet away from where we took pictures on the waterfront, where I parted with my friends who headed back to the hills to ride back and I went a few feet to metro north train station and there was, Hudson Social! The bar outside and tables was perfect for bike group but alas I was alone to bad my friend left they would have had a great time too. There was a live band for Memorial Day weekend. The waitress-bartender was lovely and helpful helping me with downloading the app to but train ticket and with the schedule. The food was great too! I had grilled mahi-mahi.

Amazing spot for Happy Hour and then taking a walk along the river. Great outdoor bar! Go for live music on Thursday nights, watch the sunset, grab some great food and hang with the locals! Right on the train line and great for taking a trip up or down the Metro North Hudson Line for a chill time.

Hudson Social is hands down one of my favorite spots in Dobbs Ferry! The riverside location is unbeatable--perfect for a relaxing meal with a view, whether you're catching up with friends or just soaking in the vibes. I had the slow-roasted brisket sandwich and the Kansas City-style pulled pork sandwich--both were absolutely delicious. Tender, flavorful, and served with golden fries that hit the spot. To top it off, the Rum Runner and Blueberry Breeze cocktails were ice-cold, refreshing, and perfectly mixed. Pure summertime bliss! What really made the experience stand out was the attentive and genuinely friendly staff. From the moment we sat down, we felt taken care of. Our server checked in just enough without hovering and made great recommendations with a smile. It's clear the team here takes pride in what they do. Also love how community-focused they are--with events like their upcoming Pride Brunch, Hudson Social isn't just a place to eat--it's a celebration of good food, good people, and good energy. Pleasantly surprised. I'd come here every now and again. Food and drinks were better than expected. Better than what you'd get at a diner. Inside nice and air conditioned. Outside nice in a cool day. Portions are appropriate. Service was ok, could have been a bit more cheerful or helpful. I think it's a great casual meet up place for a small group of friends and family.

Bartender is great. Waiter is great. Hamburgers are excellent. Code a side Salad with a hamburger instead of the fries was very good. Fresh and delicious. ice cream is terrible, it has to come off the menu . Ingredients and taste are not good .

I really enjoyed Hudson social. The ambience on their outdoor patio by the Hudson River is beautiful. This old train station has great drinks and decent food. The service was also great. There's nothing better on an early spring night when the weather is great and the sun is sitting over the Hudson and enjoying a cocktail with a good friend.

Had dinner here tonight and it was so good! Our waitress, Rachel was amazing. Super attentive and gave us really good recommendations. We will definitely be back to see her and her welcoming vibes. Definitely recommend coming here, especially on a nice day to sit outside with the views of the river.

Locally owned cozy bar and restaurant for either a date night or a group gathering. It is located right at the Dobbs Ferry train station (convenient!) , however, they do a wonderful job at blocking out the noise from coming inside the building. The outside bar / dining are both great in the warmer weather and they usually have a band playing. The upstairs space is available for parties (I am guessing around 35-40 people max). They have a mouth/watering selection of food and cocktails. I recommend the cosmo cocktail, the social burger, buffalo chicken sandwich, and the loaded French fries. All were exceptional!

We were looking for "something by the water" and Hudson Social popped up. It's kind of by the water, but it's literally next to the Dobb's Ferry train tracks in the old station house. We sat outside, there's a nice view of the hudson in the distance. They have big umbrellas which worked well as the sun set. The train is loud but short-lived. It poured rain as we were finishing up and we were able to scoot closer to the awning area. We drank a lot (cute mixed drinks menu, 4 draft beers and a lot of wine choices) and had lots of apps. I really liked the burrata. The hummus was good too. The cauliflower had a powerful kick, but I'm a lightweight when it comes to spice. The nachos were ok, but they went well with our drinks. Great attentive service. Our cups were never empty!

Came here for happy hour with some coworkers and it was a lovely place. We sat outside near the bar area and it was awesome. They have lots of room to accommodate larger groups and very spacious area so it doesn't feel crowded. The service was fast we ordered a few rounds of drinks and everything came out pretty quickly. We did not order food but the menu looked great.

Great spot right on the water and next to a cute park. Sat at the bar and had the hummus plate, it was delicious. Rachel, the bartender, made a mean cocktail and gave us amazing service - she's a rockstar! Will definitely be back.

This place makes for a nice dinner as it's right off the Metro North on the Hudson, beautiful beautiful view!! Very cozy and sleek inside, they have a nice upstairs area which is where we sat. There's something for everyone on this menu if you're going with a bigger party and the food is solid :)

I've never had a bad experience here. Everything is great. Service is good, staff are friendly, ambiance is nice and the view is is pretty awesome! Plus is pet friendly My last visit here was for mother's day brunch. I didn't make reservations but took a chance anyways. It was all booked. So I asked if I could place an order to go. Staff said to do it on website. I tried but it wasn't working. I went back inside and told them it wasn't working. Manager came up to me and told me they were pretty booked and shut the take out function off because the kitchen was behind in orders. I was about to leave but asked him one more time if I could please put an order in w him and take it to go. He said ...you know what ok. We are pretty behind but depending on what you order I can put a rush on it being that is mother's day! Oh I was sooo happy and grateful. I order chicken fingers wings, burgers and fries. Figure that would be quick order! It was 20mins later I was by the water enjoying a picnic w my kids for mothers day. They did me solid on a very hectic day w no reservations. Thats 5 stars service for me!

Admittedly this place is pretty average but the view of the water really helps improve it. It's not that I wouldn't go, normally but it's kinda pricey for American food. I got the veggie burger replaced on the Social Burger which was a good choice and some truffle fries because I can't control my cravings for truffle. We also got a Caesar to start which was pretty good as well. Nothing was extremely special but they had some good beer options and they are pet friendly so I'll absolutely be back. The staff was kind although a little distracted at the beginning. They were attentive once we sat down and also gave us space. It's right in front of the train tracks so you should know it can get noisy, but again this view makes up for it.

Company, food and drink. Take a look at the river before or after. Very zen. Service as very pleasant and the after scenery was great.

My experience mirrored the review by Michelle G; I'm curious if she, or her daughter were minorities. I'm curious because on Saturday I was invited to brunch; my date was African-American. We were seated, given water and menus; that was it. I made eye contact with one stocky gentleman, twice; both times he told me our waiter was coming; the bus boys ignored us. I decided we should go; who wants to spend money at a place you are not wanted; it's probably why it was SO empty. We passed another restaurant that was close by; we called and were told we could come right over, and we did. Brunch at Half Moon was amazing; the food was delicious and our waiter Ari, was super attentive. Our first date turned out better than expected with the change of venue; Hudson Social's view paled in comparison to the Half Moon.

So this place was cute... We wanted to take a little road trip from New Jersey and go have lunch on the water somewhere. This is facing the Hudson river and is somewhat deceptive when you actually look at the restaurant website. This is right next to a train station, and there is a drop off street between where you sit and then there's a parking lot and then the Hudson river. Still scenic but just not the same as being Waterfront. Service was amazing, they have a full bar and outdoor seating. The food was very good and priced reasonably. I would have given this review more stars, but I do feel like the pictures on the website are inaccurate and we weren't as close to the water as I wanted to be. We had driven several miles to go here and so that was the disappointing aspect of it. I would go again if I was in the neighborhood just because of the service and the food. It was not handicap accessible to get to the restrooms. However, that's another checkmark on the experience.

The view is beautiful and undeniable. If you have no monetary budget then go here. The food is tasty, service is good and the scene is great. You may need to order more than one entree... The food portions, content, and price, do not line up for me. Inflation this inflation that, I get it. But for anyone reading I want you to know that after spending $68 here for two entrees and two drinks, I had to go to the supermarket after to get food because I was still hungry. This does not add up. No one should go home hungry. No owner reply necessary. Thank you!

Food and service is very good. I had the Cuban Sandwich and my girl had the Fried Chicken Sandwich and we switched halves. Both came with fries and we really enjoyed both. I recently had a sub par Cuban Sandwich in another place in Westchester county but this one did not disappoint. I really like this joint!

Very well organized and well managed eatery (even with the overflowing crowd at this visit). I had the Social Burger. Delicious! Perfectly cooked - I asked for it Medium Rare - with the fixings as described in the menu. Served in a tray overflowing with fries. And the fries were delicious on their own. Well cooked yet crisp. Yummy! Reasonably priced menu options with a decent bottled wine selection. Definitely worthy of a visit. We will definitely be returning.

I highly recommend this restaurant the views are absolutely beautiful. The food was very good and super fresh. The service was great all the employees were super friendly, attentive, helpful and professional. The live music on Thursday nights is awesome.

I wouldn't rate zero stars but the one star is for the atmosphere and a kids menu. It's a nice atmosphere overlooking the park with river views certain times of the day. It's restaurants like this that I question all of yelp and it's reviews. How does anyone rate this place higher then 2 stars? Was I there on that type of whirlwind day when everything in FOH and BOH goes wrong? Because the service was terrible, the food awful and the drinks watered down. The main courses arrived to the table before the first round of drinks. That's just bad teamwork. The chicken was completely dried out and that's just terrible culinary skills, The sandwiches that were ordered had burnt stale bread. Not lightly toasted fresh bread, stale burnt hard bread that flaked when bitten into and that's just a careless blunder. Then no one came back to the table until we were all done eating and the busser had cleared the table of dirty dishes and that's just simply bad service. They were busy but not swamped. Are they understaffed or do they just don't care because no one else does? A teenager was the hostess and I didn't see a single floor manager. This isn't an Applebee's or an IHOP where it's a standardized run format. This is a pricer cafe style restaurant where an actual adult should be overlooking the operations and remedying any blunders that typically arise in a fast paced busy establishment. Whoever owns and runs this place obviously has no desire or knowledge how to operate a restaurant properly and produce a great dining experience. It's success is solely based off of the location so why care? The owner doesn't and the staff obviously don't care. Westchester has a lot of places like this. On the surface it's shiney, hip and trendy just what the housewives of Westchester love and desire. But realistically it's a cluster that should be avoided at all costs by true foodies and dining enthusiasts.

We come here often for after work events and work-related interview dinners, and the food and service has always been very helpful! The wings, nachos, social fries are all amazing, as is the kale caesar salad. They have a variety of drinks, and service is very responsive.

Tasty food that did not take long to receive. Friendly staff! Amazing views of the Hudson! Big plus was it was a dog friendly spot conveniently at the train station where I picked up my friend. Such a beautiful place to spend having lunch on a fall afternoon!

Another great lunch here! Stopped in with my dog and sat outside for cocktails. Started off with a rum punch drink that was excellent. I ordered the pork tacos and my friend got the burger. The pork tacos were excellent, with soft tender juicy pork and crisp radishes with a nice salsa Verde. The burger was equally delicious, cooked perfectly and extremely tasty. Fries were addictive! Service was wonderful, and we will definitely be back!

It was ok nothing special food was just ok service ok also not over the top for what you are paying for , but great view that's what your paying for, prices are hig just like Half Moon you paying for the view not the food or service .

I ate here for the first time and loved it. Started with the crispy brussell sprouts (amazing) and then the pulled pork sandwich (amazing). Our server was fantastic, and the atmosphere was relaxed and delightful. Will definitely come back.

Was here for St Patricks Day because voices were spreading that Hudson Social has the best CornBeef! YES THEY DO!! It was so exquisite that we almost ate our own plates. The location is very convenient if you drive, plenty of park space right in front. The staff is very friendly. Host super welcoming and waiters super friendly and attentive, they really give you a wonderful recommendation on their beer selection. Would definitely come back

Fabulous place for a casual meal or a festive party. Excellent food and service. Great view of the Hudson River.

Came in for the brunch special. Only a couple veg options, so we went with both. $16 veg frittata came with a side of arugula salad with flakey salt. Tasty and a decent portion size. $16 avocado toast was a single slice and left a lot to be desired. Subbed out the potato's for truffle parm fries. They were the star of the show and I found myself tossing them on the toast & frittata. Conveniently located right off the Dobbs Ferry station, so be prepared for passing trains and passengers. It's got a great view across the street. Service was quick, but also seemed very rushed. Draft beers felt and tasted refreshing

Good location, food was ok. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria and it had no alcohol, I asked the waiter and he tried to school us about how sangria is not supposed to have much alcohol? Doesn't make sense. I wouldn't go back.

Hudson Social is always a good time! Great service and really good food. The Siracha maple wings and loaded fries are my fav! The Brussels sprouts are also really good! And, if your lucky you can catch a really good sunset!

My daughter and I thought that we would enjoy lunch by the water at Hudson Social. When we entered, there was 1 individual at a table along with a couple who were about to leave. We were seated and given menus. The server never approached us nor did anyone else. We waited approximately 20 minutes in an empty restaurant while the staff walked back and forth without ever speaking to us. Upon leaving, I mentioned to the greeter that it appears that they do not want our business. His response, "Oh". Unreal..

I dig the place. Currently during Covid19 era, they serve you outside and have set up a nice area with Hudson River views. Service is espectacular and quick. The Manager, is specially on top of everything and it shows. You must scan the QR code to see the menu. The shrimp with quinoa is very good. The nachos are big enough for 3-4 people I have not ordered any drinks. Parking is right in front and there are plenty of free spaces. One of the best places in Dobbs Ferry.

Stopped here for a late lunch and enjoyed our meal. We sat outside on a beautiful day and Devin was our server. I had the Grilled Shrimp entree which was on the lighter side and quite delicious. The shrimp were a nice size and very fresh. My friend had the grilled salmon entree and she said it was also very good. The sangria was a nice treat. Service was quick and friendly. Overall a nice experience.

I held a family event on Sunday for 33 people and it was great. The room was set up perfectly and the food was as agreed. Everyone really loved the assortment and quality of the food. Service led by Juan was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend Hudson Social for any occasion. Thanks Matt.

Recently worked with Matt, the owner, to coordinate a Bridal Shower in the upstairs loft - he was great to work with and we had a great experience! We went to test the food prior to the shower and enjoyed the Crispy Brussel Sprouts appetizer, Angry Cauliflower, veggie frittata and a buffalo chicken sandwich that they had on special. They even have cute ice cream cups as dessert :) fun eats if you're in Dobbs Ferry and looking for a bite!

Limited menu depending on day and time we go. Many things are not limited menu. They did not have one went. They also charges four dollar per person Cutting fee when we brought a birthday cake. They did not tell us that there was a fee when we asked if prior.

Nice location, nice staff, pretty good food! Would be nice if they offered a grass fed burger or a wild caught fish option for those who want a better quality meat. Ive also had 2 parties here, a brunch and a dinner and my guests always love the food. The prices are reasonable.

We stumbled upon Hudson Social while we were in the area, and what a lucky find!! We were able to make a reservation for a group of six, and our entire party was blown away by the quality of the food. The highlight of the meal was the brussel sprouts, (the bacon and almonds were WOW) but we also loved the pretzel and buffalo cauliflower. Little did we know, that was just the start. The cocktails were also perfectly crafted, and the crowd favorite was the maple syrup old fashioned. It's clear that these cocktails were developed and made with intention and care. YUM! The burgers were perfectly cooked, the po boy was delicious, and the pulled pork was out of this world. Based on what we tried, you cannot go wrong with this menu! The staff was warm and friendly, and the manager Adam came to check on our table a few times. The space is also beautiful - right on the water and with an ample parking lot. I would recommend this spot for a yummy dinner! Cozy, warm, and so delicious. The only thing I regret is that I didn't take more photos to share!

Everything thing was excellent (hummus plate and pretzel appetizer, Cuban sandwich and the honey Sriracha chicken). Would definitely go back again.

Perfect service, lovely setting- just the place to get off the train, have drinks and a great dinner. So happy to see my Brussels sprouts back from Cedar Street
