Hudson Valley Apple Project

Wonderful experience! We were thankful to be worked into a tour group that fit within our schedule. You can feel the passion that they have for apples here. As a fellow apple nerd all the way from Alabama it was very pleasant to see all the amazing work that’s being done to save some of these rarer varieties. They bring knowledge and wisdom to the art of fruit growing. Would highly recommend checking them out!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday tour of this beautiful orchard. It's very evident that Gidon, owner and tour guide, has a deep passion and knowledge of apples and the science behind their cultivation. He allowed us to sample many different types of apples right off their trees that you won't easily find anywhere else - delicious! I hope to visit sometime again in the future. In the meantime, I'll need to try their Original Sin cider!

Phenomenal I can’t express how much I’m impressed with these apples. It comes form the owners love and passion for apples and cultivated unique and primo varieties that they personally enjoy. Very impressive. I think I had the best apple I’ve ever eaten today…. Where to go from here?…

I LOVE these apples! They are delicious and I love the variety of tastes! So special! And the orchard folks are so friendly and helpful. I get their apples at the Hillsdale Farmers' Market. Don't miss this great opportunity!

Woah. Such an amazing experience and a gracious host. They have 130 varieties of apples and a story for them all! Such an amazing opportunity to learn about their passion and care. I will be back!
