Hueney Ruca

Nicely located, and potentially a very nice hostel, but the crew seems to have decided to keep it a 2 star instead of upgrading eventually. ||||Advantages: the staff indeed is young and very friendly, location nice, air as fresh and as clean as in all of San Martin, the room/apartment are spacious and you can feel at home. ||||Disadvantages : It is way too expensive! It cost more than another more elegant place we stayed in San Martin, and for the price it did not seem clean enough, with a problematic shower and a bit run down. Also the breakfast is a joke (dry bread, one croissant and jam....). If they plan to run the hostel so informally it is totally cool, but then they should definitely lower the prices.

The young ladies here went out of their way to make my wife and I feel welcome. Laundry - no problem. Breakfast - a lovely and simple little set up, and the accommodation was more than adequate. This is real value for money in San Martin, and it's just a short walk into town. A friendly and comfortable stay.

We spent 5 nights here. The room was big since we got a room for three. The staff was young and friendly, however the cleaning was far beyond standard. The breakfast was minimum. It was a kitchen for use, but there was no useful kitchenware. The door to the kitchen was open all day and night and one day the street dogs had been there and messed up all the garbage. This could have been a really nice place run properly. For this price we can not recommend it.

We, a young international couple, arrived in San Martin de los Andes rather lost a day in March. We stumbled across Hueney Ruca in the LP and sceptically took a look. We were astonished to find this 2-star hotel had very nice rooms, a great breakfast and living room area and even a SPA area that can be reserved for an hour each day (for free!) to enjoy in a private amtosphere. The staff was wonderful and even rainy days were more than enjoyable. What came at 2-star price, was actually more like 4! Highly recommended.

Excelente atención, cordialidad y amabilidad de todo el personal. Se destaca el interés de hacerte sentir cómodo y atentos a tu necesidad. Excelente ubicación. Muy agradecidos al personal de limpieza y a la encargada ya que al retirarnos de la hostería y seguir viaje, me llamaron al celular para avisarme que nos habíamos olvidado un e-books. Impecable!!

Excelente Calidad Precio, Pero lo principal ha sido la muy buena atención de las chicas recepción, Muy amables. En realidad decidimos alojarnos cuando mi esposa fue a consultar y al regresar me dijo. La chica me atendió muy bien, muy agradable.
