Situated just off the busy highway, once you enter the grounds this is an oasis of calm. We stayed in a cabin which was in the woods with a deck on which to relax and bird watch. Our cabin had 2 bedrooms, shower, separate toilet and washbasin plus a small kitchen area & dining table. We were part of a group and therefore catered for, the food was superb, home cooked using local produce, 3 course dinner plus breakfast which included fruit, yoghurt, toast etc. Kathryn and her staff are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble. There is also a lovely swimming pool.

Lovely staff, great food and coffee. The cabins were outstanding in quality and cleanliness. The area is surrounded by natural beauty with large biodiversity of wildlife. Every morning was a pleasure to see the happy staff and two lovely dogs. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting to experience the true beauty of south Spain.

Really enjoyed our stay at this place, Basic breakfast but adequate, service with a smile and it's location very central to visit all places for our birding holiday and a selection of local restaurants nearby (very good). Would definitely recommend to anyone after a good birding trip especially at migration.

This is such a beautiful place. Gorgeous variety of accommodation set in extensive woodland filled with birds. We stayed in the Spy’s House surrounded by tawny owls calling at night. Such a magical experience. The pool is fabulous and very quiet and Katrine is so lovely, friendly and helpful. This is the second time we have stayed as part of a birding group and I am sure it will not be the last.

I love this place. You’re right in the middle of a little oasis of calm with lovely birds everywhere. Our trip included meals, and dinner each evening was absolutely delicious! Rooms are comfortable and cleaned regularly. Lovely pool for a dip too!

Our stay was a specially arranged group visit hosted by Inglorious Bustards and moth man Dave Grundy. So we had a Spanish chef specially brought in to cook the evening meals.||||The surroundings are wonderful woodland teeming with birds. There is an excellent swimming pool and delightful accommodation.||||Wonderful proprietors and staff.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as part of a birding tour. We were out all day birding in the area and then after a brief rest we went out again on the property where there was plenty to see. We stayed in a lovely cabin that had everything we needed (including a corkscrew) including heat for the unseasonably cold late April weather. The bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water in the shower and very quiet and peaceful. Would love to come back when the weather is warmer!

I was part of a group of 18 birdwatching friends staying here as part of Inglorious Bustards' 2 continents trip and the whole place is just amazing. A wonderful setting with birds everywhere and a dawn chorus full of Nightingales! We were spread throughout the site in various secluded wooden cabins and houses - all with en-suite facilities, yet all only a short walk from the restaurant and main centre. Juan-Luis and Katrin were very helpful and friendly and the food was absolutely top quality. I have a food allergy and they prepared separate dishes and lunches for me without prompting. We stayed there for 4 nights and it was just not enough - we will be back for more!
