hugo & green

My husband and I had went to Hugo and Green today for a Terrarium workshop, and loved it! The moment you step into the calm and green space you relax. There were 6 of us on the course, plenty of space, and lots of appealing materials, plants, crystals and stones to experiment with. John ran the workshop and is such a pleasant and helpful chap - very encouraging about our Terrarium designs and kind when I had a little blip after the workshop had finished (🤦‍♀️). We are both super happy with our finished products, and will be back to purchase some other plants and pick their brains about plant care. 🪴 ❤️

Excellent shop, gorgeous array of interestingly textured plants and some well chosen pots. They also stock the moss and plants for terrariums and the chap was cheerful and helpful. Very nice specialty place that also holds workshops. I would attend if I were more local.

John and all of the other members of Hugo and Green are just beautiful people! I attended a terrarium workshop with my two daughters and a couple of friends. We really enjoyed it and made such gorgeous terrariums! I am definitely going back to do more, would not hesitate to recommend this workshop, loved it! 🥰

The plant shop is absolutely gorgeous and worth a wonder any day of the week. However, we've coupled our latest visit with the terrarium workshop and had the most amazing time ! John was super kind and helpful and we can't wait to do more terrariums using what we learnt! Great value for money too considering that you get all the materials , plants and the terrarium included.

We went to Johns Terrarium workshop at Hugo and Green on the weekend and it was just the best experience. John was so amazing and showed us how to make one, explaining all the elements and then it was our turn. A beautifully zen environment and turns out terrarium making is very therapeutic. John gave us all the tools and materials we needed and was there to answer any questions, lend a hand or advise on design. A brilliant experience and would highly recommend!!

What a wonderful morning I had yesterday in the peace of the Hugo & Green shop, making my own terrarium. It was a thoroughly relaxing session with scope for creativity and individuality, and best of all, the chance to get my hands mucky in the coir substrate, damp moss and when separating and planting the tiny plants. I'm proud of my terrarium!

The style, the sheek! The owners are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, impressionable and kind. The shop is stunning!! Very happy with all the items purchased, I have bought numerous incredible items from this place and have them in my own shop too!
