Ina Garten’s Paris: Where to Eat, Drink, and Shop Like the Barefoot Contessa

"When Ina endorses a patisserie, we run to the sweets. This award-winning dessert shop and ice cream parlor makes all the elegant French treats — including fruit tarts, eclairs, macarons, millefeuilles, and so much more. Many of the patisserie creations are available in individual sizes, so you can treat yourself to a chocolate tart or strawberry cream cake at the patisserie’s outdoor cafe tables. Shareable treats are available as well and are a super elegant end to a dinner party." - Melissa Kravitz Hoeffner

I want to give a huge thanks to Diane. She highlighted my 30th birthday by being such a great advisor and attentive salles women. I called her 3 times and every time she was taking care of my order with great pleasure and professionalism, I have rarely seen that. The cakes were also beautiful, delicate and tasty. Merci encore pour tout Diane, je vais continuer à vous recommander! Louise ❤️

The absolute best "guimauve" (high-end marshmallow) I have ever tasted. Wonderful chocolates and many other delicious tempting sweet things. Beautiful store close to St. Germain des Prés. Worth the detour.

Pretty good! I had the hazelnut financier. Very high quality ingredient but too sweet for me. The fig and raisin croissant is really good! The light sweetness of the fig and the aroma are perfect for croissant dough

The cakes are all wonderful and the price is very high. I bought 2 cakes including berries. The cakes are as good as other famous pattiseries. The brand name is high. I might come back when I have to take some high brand cakes to somebody. For myself I go to the other pattiseries. I want to try their viennoiseries like brioche, croissants. And financiers.

We had a pablova. Wonderful balance of sweet and sour. Red leaves were excellent. Chocolate cake was a bit heavy but the mousse was of high quality. Great financiers, cookies and marshmallow. The fruit flavors filled chocolate were ok. We had better.

The sales women was quite rude. My father who speaks French greater her and spoke to her in French but she was very curt and blunt. I did not feel welcomed or like she wanted us there. When asking questions about the food she looked at us like we were dumb. The food was good but we didn’t go back as there are many more kinder establishments.

Was told to try their financiers. Sweet, buttery, moist, but not light. Almond flavor isn't at all obvious. Idk if it's worth paying almost 10€ for 4 financiers... magic didn't happen.

Probably the best patisserie in Paris, with inimitable flavours and textures. Do not miss the fruit tarts, chocolate tart and millefeuille.
