HUGO's Davos

Delicious food, friendly staff, family friendly! Not too loud or cramped like some other places. Just all around a really great restaurant to go to after a beautiful day is Davos. I had one of their salads (I can’t remember the name) it had goat cheese and balsamic in it and it was delicious! My husband enjoyed their tomato soup! They’ve also got great pizza and delicious desserts!

Two things: 1) When I called up and asked if they had space for 14 people for dinner, the guy literally laughed and hung up the phone. Fair enough, it was a busy weekend in Davis at the time and an outrageously short-notice request. And yet, when me and my party walked past at 8pm, lo and behold the place was almost empty - there must have been 40 empty seats. Very annoyed to have been so treated on the phone, therefore. And also interesting to note, I suppose, that on one of the busiest nights of Davos, this restaurant was mostly empty. 2) The constant upsells. Bozhe moi, it was never-ending. "Are you sure you don't want a side salad with that sir?" Or interrupting the meal to unsolicitedly ask if anyone wanted an Old Fashioned. We were constantly bombarded with attempts to make us spend more money - and we were already a party of 14 having starters, drinks and mains! What more could you want? Very tacky and annoying. Do me a personal favour: if you are thinking about coming here; don't. Avenge me!

Fine meal on a limited Spengler Cup Tournament menu. Made a 730pm reservation for 2 people but they allowed us to come in at 530pm when it was less crowded. No English menu but we had phone apps that could translate for us.

Lovely restaurant with beautiful food with a nice choice of local wines and soft drinks, service was great but a little on the slow side given how quiet the evening of our visit was. The restaurant itself was nicely laid out and clean and the menu had a wide variety of dishes to suit all pallets. Would recommend and would return.

Visited in the afternoon for cake and coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Dogs are allowed, and the waitress brought water for our dogs without being asked. Cakes and other sweet options were available. The atmosphere was pleasant.

We had a wonderful time at HUGO’s! The staff and management were very welcoming and accommodating to our needs. We went there daily for lunch as a large group, and the food and atmosphere were simply perfect.

I really liked this place , smell and taste of baking with wonderful view , the waitress was really cute and helpful.

Food is super delicious, good and friendly service, nice atmosphere with modern style. I would come back anytime :)
