Hugo's Davos

Fine meal on a limited Spengler Cup Tournament menu. Made a 730pm reservation for 2 people but they allowed us to come in at 530pm when it was less crowded. No English menu but we had phone apps that could translate for us.

Lovely restaurant with beautiful food with a nice choice of local wines and soft drinks, service was great but a little on the slow side given how quiet the evening of our visit was. The restaurant itself was nicely laid out and clean and the menu had a wide variety of dishes to suit all pallets. Would recommend and would return.

I really liked this place , smell and taste of baking with wonderful view , the waitress was really cute and helpful.

We had a vegan pizza, it was really delicious. They also serve a really tasty Glühwein (comes in generous portions).

The brunch we had at Schneiders was excellent. However, the service was very unsatisfactory; as a party of five, we were delivered our orders over the course of thirty minutes, and we were surprised by the length of the wait when our dedicated waitress wrote down any additional requests. The same thing occurred when we tried to pay; it seemed like she had too much work on her plate. But the other employees were quick and willing to joke around.

Next to the restaurant offering, they have a small bakery corner. Their Nusstorte is far better than the ones in St. Moritz! Fatter, heavier and tastier. Good café also.

It was maybe an unlucky day, but we waited for quite some time to get our lunch, and the food was the worst we had in Davos in three days (chicken nuggets that my son barely touched) and pasta with salmon (very buttery but with almost no taste). The lady serving us tried to look nice but despite this we didn’t feel welcome. Pastry looked great but the long waiting unfortunately didn’t leave time for dessert.

Found this restaurant on the second night of our holiday. Fabulous desserts! Went again for great cup of English Breakfast tea one evening (which appears to be in short supply in Davos.) Went for a third time for a very good pizza. Friendly service. Lovely seating area. Highly recommended.
