Hugos Restaurant at Manly Wharf is an absolute gem, offering a dining experience that is as delightful as its stunning waterfront location. The food is exceptional, with a menu that perfectly balances creativity and flavor. From the fresh seafood to the perfectly cooked pizzas and pasta, every dish was a culinary delight. The standout for me was the kingfish crudo—fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive, with a team that was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about ensuring a memorable experience. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations, making the entire dining experience seamless and enjoyable. The ambiance at Hugos is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the harbor creating a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. Whether you're there for a romantic dinner or a casual meal with friends, Hugos delivers on every level. Overall, Hugos Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in Manly. With its incredible food, impeccable service, and stunning location, it’s the perfect spot for a truly special dining experience. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing Christmas celebration. We enjoyed the food, drinks and especially the service provided by Char, our waitress. Seafood platter was divine and the pizza always good. Loved dessert too! We were fortunate to have a table outside to enjoy all the food by the water.

Food was nice. Service great. Mushroom pizza the best. I went there on a hit and humid day, and lack of air con did bother me. At least it came with a view!!

This Manly gem has been a favorite of ours for years, and for a good reason! The consistently excellent food and drinks, along with the good service, never disappoint. I think their Espresso Martini is simply the best in town, and while we've tried much of the menu, my favorite is the crab spaghettini - which is light and fresh. Their pizzas are a must try! The service has always been consistently good, and the beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere make it the perfect spot for any occasion, from romantic dinners to casual gatherings with friends. Hugo's truly delivers on every level. My husband and I could happily spend hours there enjoying the lovely ambiance and views!

Hugos Manly When dining at Hugos Manly, I chose to take a ferry from the Sydney Opera House, allowing me to enjoy stunning views before and after my meal. On this visit to Sydney, I would highly recommend Hugos as my top dining spot. Not only is their service exceptionally friendly, but the food is also something I must strongly highlight! I ordered a seafood platter, as seen in the picture. The oysters and fish are sashimi-grade, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The sauces blend perfectly with the food, enhancing its flavors. As for the cooked items, the freshness of the shrimp can be judged by how easily the meat separates from the shell. Here, the seafood is remarkably fresh, giving the impression that it was caught and cooked straight from the harbor—absolutely delicious. I would also highly recommend Hugos’ duck breast. It’s seared to perfection, juicy, and tender. Paired with the chef’s special berry sauce, it creates a truly perfect combination. (Of course, if your budget allows, it’s best enjoyed with a glass of fine wine.) This experience marked the rewarding conclusion to my trip, celebrating my hard work with delightful flavors. Hugos Manly offers everything—great food, wine, and views. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant when you’re in Sydney to enjoy it to the fullest. 👍👍👍

Had an amazing lunch experience at Hugo’s Manly! We started with their delicious polenta chips—crispy on the outside and perfectly soft inside. For mains, we shared the Hawaiian pizza and lamb pizza, both cooked to perfection with fresh, flavorful toppings. The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Just a heads-up: you need to book a reservation, but it’s totally worth it! Highly recommend for a great meal with stunning views.

We came here for the first time and we loved it. Everything was great, food, service, atmosphere,.. Nacho was really nice with us and effective. Thank you for a lovely evening

Yelp
We enjoyed our dinner at Hugo's. We were able to get seated without a reservation, we appreciated the host's flexibility. The service was wonderful, we felt completely taken care of. The food was quite good. We started with one of their pizzas as appetizers, it was delicious. Our table had the ceviche, which was excellent and the pasta, which was good. Overall a great experience.

Yelp
Our friends, Sarah and Maurice suggested us coming here to have dinner. They told us they come here for special occasions. In this case, the special occasion turns out to be my birthday! They told us the history of Hugo's. It has been in the area for 10 years. The owner does special guest spots on the local television and in media. Hugo's attract a huge following. People who want to be seen come here. Girls and guys come here all decked out and they all look beautiful. The menu looked a bit pricey. Our friends usually order pizzas for themselves and their kids. Joseph told me to order the barramundi. So I did. It came with mashed sweet potatoes which tasted smooth (like butter), garnishments, and a decent size of barramundi. It tasted delicious. Joseph ordered the calamari. It tasted amazing. As the evening wore on, we saw the line build up to come into Hugo's. Sarah and Maurice told us we came during the perfect time and avoided the line. Jack our server made sure we got our food and drinks. He gets an A+ for service. Our food took about 20 minutes to come. But well worth the wait. When in Sydney, Australia come to Hugo's. Located near the shoreline, it makes for an ideal place to celebrate or to relax for a bit. Bring a date, friends, or even family.

Yelp
Lively and fun spot right next to the Manly Wharf. It was pretty busy. Lots of people dressed to the 9 but also extremely casual beach attire. The bar/restaurant offers great view, open dining space. No reservations. We had children with us but I wouldn't call it ideal for children. There was nice cozy lounge seating which we didn't have to wait long for. I had the barramundi and calamari which were both well prepared and delicious. The rest of our party had an assortment of pizza which were all good as well. There is a nice selection of pizzas. I followed my barramundi with a glass of Riesling. Hugo's has a full bar as well. Service was great as well and very patient. The only drawback is parking is limited but most seemed to be commuting by ferry. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Great place to have lunch with good food and a beautiful view of the harbor. For non locals, you can buy an Opal card across from Wharf 4. For $15 this card will give you unlimited rides on the ferry, trains or buses for the day. You can also buy the card for the week or you can always reload the card for more usage. Get on the ferry for Manly Wharf from Wharf 4. There's a schedule of departure and pick up times at Whatf 4. They generally leave every 30 minutes. There's also wifi on board the ferry. Once at Manly Wharf, exit the terminal, turn left and you practically stumble into Hugo's. They have a lot of seats by the window and some tables outside with umbrellas. We came to Hugo's on a Wednesday at about 11:30 and the place was 90% filled but we managed to get a window table for two. They provide blankets and sunscreen to customers sitting outside which we thought was such a lovely gesture and really impressed us with their level of care. There were a lot of pizzas on the menu and we saw a lot of people eating pizzas so we asked the waitress if they specialized in pizzas. She said yes they're known for their pizzas and we were in luck because all pizzas were half off as a lunch special that day. We ordered the Prosciutto Pizza and the Salt & Pepper Australian Octopus. Both were excellent. The pizza had a wonderful crispy thin crust with thin slices of delicious prosciutto topped with fresh thin shavings of Parmesan cheese. There were six pieces altogether. The Salt & Pepper Australian Octopus was super tender and flavorful. It was topped with thin slices of red chili pepper which kicked up the spice level if you choose to eat them. We were stuffed but the waitress talked us into looking at the dessert menu. We couldn't resist the Affogato with a side of Tuaca and biscottis with pistachios. Judy doesn't drink so I took care of the Tuaca on my own . It was so delicious we couldn't believe we finished the whole thing. The service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back on our next trip. Follow my food adventure on IG @tazebudshawaii Happy Eating !!

Yelp
Hugo's is a cute restaurant in Manly right on the water. The restaurant is open-air and serves pizza and seafood. We made a reservation for 7PM on a Tuesday evening. When we arrived, we were seated immediately in a table with beach and harbor views. Our server was OK - she didn't seem to know a ton about the menu (more on that later) but she was attentive and seemed to always be around our general area. We ordered some drinks, appetizers, and entrees. For the appetizers, we got both types of oysters (regular oysters with sherry/shallot mignonette and a fried one with horseradish and caviar). I don't eat horseradish so I only tried the former, but everyone else seemed to enjoy the fried one. I liked the natural oysters a lot; we were off to a good start. We each ordered a personal pizza. They were all served as thin crust. One pizza is enough to feed one person, and each is in the 20-30$ range. We ordered: -Mushroom - wild mushrooms, taleggio, goat's curd & caramelised onions -Chorizo - La Boqueria chorizo, olives, chilli, smoked mozzarella, red onions & rouille dressing -Fig - fresh figs, crispy pancetta, gorgonzola, tomato & basil -Pork - slow roasted pork belly with sweet & sour onions, radicchio & bocconcini mozzarella I ordered the mushroom pizza, and it was excellent. It was lemony and the mushrooms were fresh. I didn't get a lot of goat cheese flavor, but it was still excellent. The chorizo pizza had a bit of a kick, and I enjoyed the meat itself. The fig pizza was interesting - the grilled tomatoes on top added to it. Didn't get much gorgonzola, though. Lastly, the pork was OK - not my favorite. It was strangely EXTREMELY spicy, and our server didn't know why (I found it odd that she didn't know if it was weird for a particular pizza to be spicy or not). We asked if any of the ingredients themselves were spicy and she just shrugged. There wasn't much mozzarella on this, either. All in all, we enjoyed most of the food and certainly enjoyed the views. The ingredients were fresh and all added to the pizza. We heard that the dessert pizza was really good, but we didn't have any room left for it. Maybe next time!

Shea J.

Yelp
This place was great! Right on the water, good atmosphere. The flavors in the pizza were outstanding and the service was great!

Alan B.

Yelp
I was referred to come here by a local friend. Being gluten-free, it's not always easy to get a good pizza, but this was delicious. I had a Margherita pizza and it was thin crust, the sauce was slightly sweet and the tomatoes and cheese were fresh and in just the right balance. I paired it with a Woodford Reserve bourbon for a nice dinner, sitting at the bar, tended by a very friendly bartender.

Sudhir S.

Yelp
We had a great brunch @Hugos during our trip to Manly beach. Thanks to Fakundo #wonderful manager and team for best food and service!!!

Yelp
Ocean view on outside deck is actually worth the wait for 1/2 hour considering we didn't make any reservations for Sunday dinner. We came right in the middle of rush Sunday dinner around 7.30pm and we found that the place was jam packed full house! Starter: We ordered ham croquette, with truffle mayonnaise, it was nice and delicate. The antipasto platter was amazingly good; Italian meat ball, so packed full of flavour, Calamari was tender and very crispy with light battered, Fig & prosciutto salad is well dressed, and also came with freshly shucked oyster. Main: Queensland Spanner Crab Spaghettini was EVO base and hint of chilli, i found just right amount of oil to coats the pasta, beautiful clean flavour dish. Fig pizza also delicious, but to my liking the pizza base is a little salty, since it served also with beautiful prosciutto, however, to me, sweetness from fresh fig that just on season is right on the money, can't really complaint! Dessert: "Pick Me Up" a little need more liquor kick, amaretto or frangelico is my recommendation, since I barely notice alcohol on this dessert, however the winning dish for tonight is the sticky date pudding, absolute winner and you must try! If only I have space in my greedy tummy, I would like to order more just for my self! Service: Was very attentive, waitress always check on every sequence meal if everything's ok, well done!

Toni C.

Yelp
This restaurant is located perfectly on the Manly wharf with a gorgeous indoor/outdoor vibe! The service is actually quite good for Australia standards. The food is what brings people here, they do really nice pizzas. And if you're gluten free, their GF pizza base is incredible! It does get crowded especially during the holiday season so put your name down, go to a local bar and expect to wait about an hour before eating.

Patricia B.

Yelp
Phenomenal food! The first night we came here it was a 2-hour wait on a Saturday night. We opted out. The second time was a Monday night and it was a 30-minute wait. After eating here, I can say without hesitation I would wait 2 hours for this meal!! We started with the fig, Gorgonzola, arugula and prosciutto pizza that had a perfect balance of sweet, salty, savory and fresh flavors. Then for our main course we split a Wagyu sirloin and the summer vegetable risotto, and then finished our meal with a blueberry cheesecake. Everything was exquisite!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and especially those with the most discerning tastebuds!! 6-stars!!

Ahmad F.

Yelp
Amazing pizza. Great views. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. I had the lamb with arugula pizza today. It was awesome.

Shawn A.

Yelp
Yes, Hugo's is a pizza restaurant. But it's undoubtedly one of the best dining experiences we had in Australia. It's a beautiful restaurant. At night it's dimly lit and the ambiance is fantastic. We ordered the "Hawaiian" pizza and it was unreal. It was so good we didn't have time to take a picture. However we started with the Grilled Yamba King Prawns and I think these might be the best prawns I've ever eaten. It tasked like a mix between lobster and langoustine. Wow. This place is a must if you're ever in Manly!

Debbie P.

Yelp
On a beautiful, sunny Sydney day I visited Hugo's for a somewhat late lunch. From the moment I entered to the time I left, I was delighted by excellent, attentive service and incredibly delicious food. Of course, let's not forget the views - absolutely superb! Overall this was an extremely wonderful dining experience, and I would most happily recommend this restaurant, and return there again myself!

Shirley N.

Yelp
The food is amazing here. I don't recall not liking any of the dishes I've ordered here. This will have to be a traditional stop whenever I travel out to NSW!

Nick W.

Yelp
Stopped for lunch in hugos after wandering around manly for the day. Great spot by the water watching the ferries coming and going. Started with a salt and pepper octopus followed it with a cracking ham pizza and mushrooms. Everything was very tasty and the service was attentive but not overly so. All in all a very solid choice.

Tim D.

Yelp
It's a lovely spot, right on the wharf. And it's got a bustling, buzzy atmosphere. The pizzas we had were OK, but weren't any better than anywhere else, and much less impressive than many of the spots in Haberfield or Lane Cove. Especially for the price. And my god the place is full of trendy posers. It felt like about half of them were here for dinner because it's the place to be seen in Manly. Service was quite good, though, they took good care of us. And the wine list is pretty spesh. A mixed bag all in all, but as value for money, it's not quite there.

Robert B.

Yelp
Amazingly good pizza place that I'd never expected to find while visiting from the United States. The wine selection was nice and we had a nice view from our outside seating. It was very crowded but the were efficient in seating us and getting out our pizzas.

Nats R.

Yelp
Fantastic setting & Service! By far the most enjoyable meal in Sydney yet! Tables really comfortable, we got to lounge at our table on the deck from 4.30 til 7.15pm, enjoying Antipasti, jugs of Pimms & beers, followed by mains! Plus we even got to experience sunset, which is a must from this location! Thank you so much, thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!!!

Sally R.

Yelp
A follow on from the incredibly successful Hugo's Kings Cross, Hugo's at Manly Wharf is a runaway success too! Having said that, it's a success in a completely different way, but that's just location talking; a bar on the breathtaking Manly Wharf will always be a little slower, a little more relaxed than one in the frantic King's Cross. Although not a particularly frequent visitor (it hurts my poor little student wallet too much), I do like Hugo's at Manly. The pizza is very, very tasty - but also, very (only one very, not two) expensive for what you get. Somewhere to get your parents to take you for sure! They also do not permit BYO - fairly natural for somewhere that profits from being a bar as well as a restaurant, but annoying during the day! A great spot for a sunny Sunday lunch - I'd recommend the prawn and chilli pizza!

Akos J.

Yelp
Place is great. There are treasures on the menu. Avocado salad for example. Pizzas are great. Ambiance is fantastic. They also know how to make a great martini.

Jen B.

Yelp
The views, the cocktails, the food are amazing! The service is appalling - they will clear your food or wine before you're finished just to turn the table over. Be patient, be prepared to be ignored and then have people watch you like hawks till try can get rid of you. Go in summer, sit out on the deck and enjoy.

Dennis S.

Yelp
Fabulous in every regard. Maybe the best in Manly. Our lunch was exceptional. We had a bottle of a great Claire Valley white to start and some fresh baked bread with a dish of olive oil. For our starter we shared king prawns in garlic sauce, big, tasty, perfectly grilled. Then for our main we shared angel hair pasta with yellow fin tuna. It also was perfectly prepared, with generous amounts of lightly-grilled chunks of tuna. The restaurant, on the ocean front at the ferry, had a variety of seating options. It was busy on a Friday afternoon, but they still showed us our choices of tables. We sat side by side with a terrific harbor view and good people watching. Service was top notch (by Australian standards). The decor was clean, contemporary, and upscale without being overdone. It was as pleasant a lunch as could be imanged,

Yebba R.

Yelp
Favourite restaurant in Sydney The view is sensational, with a happy upbeat vibe. The food is amazing - especially the steak (worth the money) However on Friday and Saturday's, there tends to be a wait so come in early for dinner 5.30-6 or later 8pm for the best time

Morgan S.

Yelp
Hugo's was definitely a great way to end an evening in Manly. The restaurant is on the wharf with open areas so you can watch the sunset. I recommend making a reservation for outside. There is an outside deck with beautiful views. However, the rest of the restaurant has wonderful views as well. There really is no bad seat here. The food is also quite delicious. The side avocado salad is amazing. We also enjoyed the mushroom pizza. I was a bit surprised there wasn't tomato sauce, but maybe that's not traditional here? I would return if I am ever here again!

D H.

Yelp
Hugo's has been a regular go-to when in Manly and not aiming for any particular restaurant. The location is killer, they can always find a space for you, albeit often with a small wait, the service efficient and friendly and meals not overly expensive. On our last visit a few of those things were missing. The service was ok but distant and a little aloof, way too rushed one minute with four people working on our table for three at once but then we couldn't find anyone to order more drinks from the next. The final straw was that it's now expensive for what you get. Pizzas are $30 and mains are pretty much all close to $40 each and whilst they are all nice enough, they are not good value. Hugo's has been good to us over the years so we'll likely give it another go but it will be with a sense of trepidation. If it's the same again then it may end up being our last meal at Hugo's.

Anm P.

Yelp
This was our second visit to Hugo's manly first one was 3 years ago before we had kids so it was way overdue. Went with my husband for lunch we sat over the water it was such a nice sunny day. The waiter was fine couldn't make any complaints but nothing special about the service however the food we couldn't fault at all everything was as good as we remembered when we first visited . Had the croquettes and calamari with chilli and sea salt for appetisers they were yum and good portion sizes. For Mains I had the crab lobster which was delicious And my husband had the prawn pizza. No deserts as we were so full. Wonderful and special lunch will definitely return again.

Christopher S.

Yelp
I'm always surprised when I hear this place is awesome, because it couldn't be further from the truth for it's price point. I've only been here multiple times due to birthday invites etc and not by choice. The service I always find is very slack, orders are wrong too many people hover your table and confusing what you drinking (to the extent of pour two different wines into the same glass) The food is average, and in saying that it should be VERY good for the amount you are paying. All in all the view is amazing but that's all this place has going when it comes to eating out. Not worth the money...

Stephanie D.

Yelp
We decided to try Hugo's for my partner's 30th birthday. The booking process was very rigid and after many calls, emails and more calls to confirm the booking, I was looking forward to a nice night. It was slightly annoying that after adhering to all their rules and procedures, we weren't really greeted or welcomed upon entering or even asked the occasion. Unfortunately we were seated at one of the benches facing the harbour, with the intense strong and hot setting sun right in our eyes. The blind was partially closed but this didn't help. It was actually too hot and bright to even look at each other while we ate. And while this sounds like an exaggeration, the lady next to us also had trouble, holding a menu up in front of her face to shield the sun. Entree was fried calamari which was probably the only thing we enjoyed. The cocktails were also nice but severely overpriced. We shared two pizzas - ham and pineapple, and chorizo for the main. These were nothing special, once again overpriced and way too oily. Also, they were luke-warm which is strange considering what a warm night it was. All up our meal came to $105 which I would have been happy with if the service had been good. The waitresses/waiters all wear different things, some wear uniform or white clothing while others are casually dressed, so you have no idea who works there or not. We weren't asked how our meal was, and when I asked for the bill, the waitress simply turned and walked away to presumably go and get it. She didn't smile, say anything, or even us ask how the food was. Also when collecting menus the staff obviously have trouble with the limited space on the benches as they simply shoved my phone out of the way without even saying anything or being polite about it. overall I think the staff and the establishment exude way too much arrogance for what they deliver.

Eric V.

Yelp
Taking a day trip (ferry ride) from Sydney to Manly is an absolute must! Just as you exit the ferry, to your left , you'll find Hugos. A very clean, stylish restaurant/bar perched right on the water. You can't beat the location, the service is solid (a rarity in Oz), and the food and drinks are good too. I went with a chorizo pizza and enjoyed it. It's not gonna blow you away, but it was very good. A great spot to relax prior to shopping your way through the promenade towards the beach.

Cri C.

Yelp
I am a fan of Hugos Manly. Nice food, great cocktails, attentive staff and an unbeatable view. I'd say this place is good for a date or perhaps a ladies catch up. Downsides: - You cannot book tables. I did go for a date here and believe the guy got there very early to put his name down. So it is a shame sometimes when booking is essential, I'd have to count this place out. - No vegetarian options other than pizza. Would it kill them to have a vegetarian pasta? - You often have 1 or 3 staff coming up to you at any one time asking how your meal is. I appreciate it but sometimes it is overkill. Recommend: - Lychee martini - Mushroom pizza - Tiramisu Enjoy :-)

Amy T.

Yelp
Best Italian food, always go back for special occasions and they never disappoint, even through COVID.

Mark F.

Yelp
As usual, no booking but thought we'd take our chances. Managed to get a spot at a large shared table no problem, although the place was heaving on a beautiful autumn day. What a great spot looking out over the harbour, it is surely hard to beat. The pizzas looked great, but we were both thinking of something else (and our waistlines!!) A couple of cocktails, and I selected a steak while she decided on an anti-pasto platter. The maitre d' looks like he must be Pete Evans's brother, he looks so much like him. No idea if he is, but he looked like it! All the wait staff are well dressed and attentive, and we are waited on in good time. Meals were very good, my steak was a winner with fantastic fries, while her platter was a good size, with some peppers in oil that were dynamite. Mama mia they were hot!! But good. Looking forward to another experience there on a Saturday afternoon in the sun and one or two sherbets.

Jim O.

Yelp
Great restaurant. Wonderful and diverse menu. Pizza rocked. Service was excellent. Sat on the "window ledge" table overlooking the water. A very well run place!!

Trish B.

Yelp
Awesome wine list and pizza is superb! We had the lamb pizza as well as chorizo and some of the best pizzas we've eaten. Dined with our 2 children and staff were very hospitable. One of our favorites!

Andrew O.

Yelp
Had dinner with D1's buddy out from Georgia and a bunch of family friends. Hugos nailed it, great food, great service. Pete Evans got way too much heat about "activated almonds" (local topic at the time) - theres no doubt he has a great talent at feeding Sydney. Someone's BF had a go at eating everything on the menu so I know what everything looks like even if I didn't get to eat it. Pizzas both seen and eaten were the fig and Gorgonzola, prosciutto, prawn, margarita and a couple of others. The pizzas are really good, thin crusts and beautifully cooked. Other menu items including a tasting plate for two (which Haystacks ate himself) oysters, calamari, prawns, salmon pasta were all reported as excellent. I would have tried some but I wanted to keep all my fingers, it was like having dinner with Edward Scissorhands' and Nigela Lawson's love child. The most amazing thing about Hugos is that Keeno didn't have the scallops! I reckon she wanted to have them, they sounded fantastic, but she knew that if this place was good I'd review it and my guess is she didn't want to feature in another of my scribbles, Keeno has poise and dignity. It is good - sorry Keeno.

Stephen F.

Yelp
loved the pizza here...and I am a tough critic being from NYC. Great thing and crispy crust and a good selection and sensible toppings. Nice atomoshphere on the pier. Great local for a drink and some food.

Adrian D.

Yelp
Amazing staff. Absolutely delicious food!!! Gorgeous views!! Definitely recommend to anybody staying in Manly

Mitchell W.

Yelp
After many years of wanting to get to Hugo's Manly, I finally did it! Pete Evans team have been well trained, and deliver a great food experience.. For a Saturday night (with good weather), all restaurants at Manly Wharf were reasonably busy. We arrived just after 6.30pm, and were advised it would be a 45-60 minute wait... We gave our details and went next door for a cheeky German bier while we waited, and low and behold, we received a call after about 40 minutes. I give this a 'BIG THUMBS UP', as the set expectations we met.. We were ushered to our table, and ordered food and drinks. The Prawn Pizza was amazing (highly recommended), as was the Mushroom. I enjoyed a Steak for mains, however i should have gone for the Homemade Gnocchi, as I had food envy of one of our party.. All 4 of us, absolutely loved this place, and in fact my friend has been back since! While it's not cheap as chips, I would love to get back at least once a month! As another person said, it's tough you can't book, however you just need to factor that into your evening (there's always the bar).. Regarding the 'No vegetarian options (other than pizza)' comment, this was not the case on our visit, and may have been as a result of a seasonal menu. One of our party is vegetarian, and there were pasta's and other meals which he was considering. Definitely bookmark Hugo's as a place to eat for your next trip to Manly!

Mike T.

Yelp
Whether you're actually trekking out to Manly, or just taking a ferry ride from Circular Quay to see the harbor, Hugo's is a really convenient place to grab a bite to eat on the water since it's attached to the Manly ferry dock. As a former New Yorker, I have to mildly hate on its pizza, but it's probably better than I want it to be! It's a bit expensive, but you're paying for the great waterfront atmosphere, which is trendy and cool. Food: 4/5 Value: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

Felix J.

Yelp
This place hasn't won Best Pizza awards for no good reason! The margherita pizza was spot on. It had a delicious cube of fresh mozzarella that they place after the pizza is pulled from the oven, along with fresh basil. You cannot beat the harbour view from this enjoyable spot in Manly. Looking forward to my next visit.

Patricia N.

Yelp
Enjoyed the cocktails and prawn pizza. Memorable atmosphere.

D N.

Yelp
Really good food that approaches 5 stars. The service was mediocre at best. God help you if you have to sit on the ledge benches with the sun going down, unless you enjoy getting one side of your face burned and then blinded by the sun.

Gemma C.

Yelp
Hugo's Manly sits on a prime piece of real estate- Manly Wharf. With spectacular views of Manly beach, Hugo's attracts large crowds. The award winning business is successful for a reason. While I prefer Hugo's in Kings Cross, Hugo's Manly is still popular among locals and tourists for the following reasons: - Ambiance is relaxed - View is breathtaking - Consistently good Factors which may detract from your experience; - Smoking is not permitted in any area - They do not accept bookings on Sundays - Can be a bit expensive for what it is What to try: - The pizzas are amazing! Go for a long lazy lunch in the summertime. Coupled with a glass of wine, you'll have a great day!

Yelp
Had lunch here with my girlfriend and we both shared the garlic pizza (added mushroons) and the spaghetti with crab meat. Both were very good. But the spaghetti was very pricey ($38). The pizza is what this place is known for and its delicious. Pretty thin dough and crispy crust. Delicious. The pasta was not bad too but a tad bit too salty. Good amount of crab meat though. But you can't beat the view. Very nice setting.

Yelp
Ducked in to the bar for a quick drink and dinner before the ferry. The staff was super friendly and prompt. The oysters natural were great and the yellowtail crostini satisfied my hunger. Great experience!

Yelp
Delicious food and a fantastic location. The only negative is the tables are way too small. Otherwise, definitely recommended.

Yelp
Today Hugo's hosted our group of 250 people from the U.S.. They went above and beyond with everything. The wait staff was fantastic and super attentive. The restaurant manager was extra courteous and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our visit. The food was absolutely amazing, by far our favourite meal we have had in Sydney all week. I can't say enough on how much we enjoyed the service and the food. Made for such an awesome day in Manley!! I highly recommend this place as a must for anyone.
