Busan’s magic works on everyone - SilverKris

"A cliffside community once settled by Korean War refugees that has been revitalized into a colorful cultural destination; narrow alleys and cliff-top paths are lined with vibrant murals, street art and mosaics that provide lively backdrops for exploration and photography." - Dinesh Ajith

No ticket required, but you might need to buy some drinks or foods to access different rooftop for view. A spot worth your time in Busan. There are tons of cute and lovely spots and moments that you can witness in this destination. It would be better to visit later in the afternoon to avoid the sun and can also enjoy sunset view at end of day. But as the sun goes down, many shops will close and be careful of the mosquitoes. Recommended cafe: the Lazy cat, cute mascot and lots of beautiful corners inside the building and there are multiple levels for you to experience.

Really love the chill and relax vibe here. Recommend to walk from the bus stop all the way down to the sea side shop houses first, then check out all the different local products there, but don’t go in cafe yet! Because walk to the end, you will see Cafe MAIN which I walked in accidentally, but this is super nice! Amazing drinks, amazing view, and there is a small little corner with low ceiling, perfect for a relax afternoon watching the sea!

It’s nice to walk from shop to shop around the area. There’s a map on the side of the road to help guide you roam. One thing that surprised me was that it was descent rather than going up. You get dropped off the road and you go down to explore the village. It’s the little details I enjoyed there, like the signages for the shops and the houses. There were trinket shops, dessert stores, and even a foot spa while you enjoy the sea view.

A cute little area to walk around with some street art and many cafes. I was hoping to see more little handmade shops but there is a beautiful glass workshop (I was just too worried they wouldn't make it home in one piece 😔) and an adorable cat themed gallery shop. Great views across the bay and lots of photo opportunities.

A hidden cultural gem by the sea Huinnyeoul Culture Village was originally a post-war settlement for refugees during the Korean War. Today, it has been transformed into a vibrant cultural community. Its name—meaning “white shallow beach”—comes from the way the village appears as if dusted with white snow. Since December 2011, the old houses have been renovated and adorned with creative art installations, turning the area into a unique destination where visitors can experience the everyday life of Yeongdo residents. The coastal walkway is lined with charming cafés, boutique shops, and colorful mural walls that make for a picturesque stroll with beautiful ocean views. It’s a great place to slow down and soak in the local atmosphere. Unfortunately, the popular Rainbow Piano Staircase and Baekseomtan Coastal Tunnel were closed for maintenance during our visit, which was a bit disappointing—but we still found the experience worthwhile overall.

Nice view, long walk way up and down. Don’t come in summer you will be burnt 🌞🥵 Lots of cafe with average to high price. Recommend for those who love cafe hopping.
