How to Visit Oslo, According to Someone Who Spent 6 Years in Scandinavia

"The peninsula of Bygdøy has not only amassed some of the capital’s best museums and relics, but it’s also home to idyllic beaches — Huk, Paradisbukta, and Bygdøy Sjøbad — for swimming and picnicking. For something a bit more cultural, browse the collections at the Fram, Norwegian Maritime Museum, Oscarshall, or Norwegian Museum of Cultural History. The Gol Stave church is also a must-see." - Alexandra Pereira

Nice beach area offering great scenery and tranquility in evening times. It can get busy during the day especially in warm summer weather but to avoid crowds, evening times are great for sunset pics, vids etc. There are lots of rocks and some areas where the water is not clean, but overall nice views of nature and of boats traveling in the bay. You can probably do some water skiing here.

I leave nearby, its the most convenient and perfect beach to go in Oslo, if you're not shy.

Of course you will have a lot of people on a beach in the center of Oslo, but what a treat to be able to swim in the fjord and relax in the sand 5 minutes away walking from the city center

Edu Thank You

Don't go, run away. I rather don't see humans there. Is magic

Nice beach with sand and a Spar supermarket close by if you need supplies.

Private beach, with a lot of sharp stones and dirty water. But view is really nice.
