Amazing view of the river and waterfall! The waters is so blue and clean that it has a turquoise hue to it! It literally reminds me of Maldives, but its even better! I love nature and i love anything with water, be it beaches, rivers, lakes, oceans etc. But this is on another level! I love hearing the sound of the water rushing down towards the river, and the water is really damn blue. I captured a few photos of my dad and brother, the background with the water just stands out so vibrantly! I would definitely visit again if i have the chance! And i definitely recommend this place to nature lovers!

Mother Nature doing her thing at the Huka Falls with raging white water and rapids is a sight to behold. There is a bridge over the falls and a few lookouts that give great vistas of the river below. Also plenty of walk trails if you want to venture further. Car parking and toilets too. Well worth a couple of hours to explore if you are in the Taupō area.

Nice spot for a short visit - I'd recommend walking from Spa Thermal Park - it's 3km and takes about 45 mins. Beautiful colours at the falls and you can feel the power of the current!

Must say that this could be one of the wonders of the world. You can feel the power of the rapids and falls. The beauty is awesome and all from Mother Nature. We loved this visit and an item from my bucket list ticked of. Highly recommend it. Best to visit during weekdays to avoid waiting for a parking space. 👍👍👍👌👌👌😊

The water has such a beautiful color to it. It is fast and powerful. Says in 1 min can fill 5 Olympic swimming pools! 😦 A must stop!

Huka Falls is stunning! It also has the advantage of being very accessible. It's very near Taupō and the views are easily reachable after only a short walk. All of this makes it a great stop on the way to another event or location. Worthwhile even if you're short on time.

A marvellous place. Definitely worth seeing. There are also very beautiful and easy walking routes. I loved the shades of blue. Extreme activities are also available for those who want them.

A must when visiting Taupo. When nature provides 220,000 litres per second, there is always going to be a worthy spectacle! In spring, when the kowhai trees are in bloom, you'll also see many tui birds feeding here. Be sure to take the walk up the river also for the beauty of the Waikato River and where you may spot New Zealand scaups, fantails, little pied shags and other birds.
