The site is located right on the beautiful coastline and right next to Hullehavn, a great little swimming spot. It is also a short walk from the charming toursim hub of Svaneke.||||That said, the operators seem to be resting on the geographical laurels. Service is slow and sometimes a somewhat rude, and the shared facilities suffice, but reflect a lack of commitment and consideration.||||As an example, the check-in desk is combined with a small shop, but we never managed to buy anything there, as the two people working the desk were also handling check-in, check-out and booking, which was painfully slow.||I'm pretty sure that if they hired a teenager to manage the shop, the income would more than pay for the salary-expenses.||||Common facilities were OK, but not more than that, and again showed an underlaying lack of attention to detail. For example there were no places to put soap etc while showering, and unless you wanted to walk barefoot on rough gravel, there was no place to sit and put on your socks and shoes after the shower. Also, while the showers seemed generally clean enough, there were some pretty big spiderwebs in the corners.||||A third example was that there was no organized way for tent-users to charge their phones. Instead people just used all available plugs in the (very much non-cosy) common room and risked theft.||||These are all minor issues issues, but they add up to a relatively low rating for a camping site that ought to get 5/5.
