Huma Kotor Bay Hotel & Villas

The location is perfect if you wanna stay very close to Kotor bay. One of the best if you compare it to other properties nearby. The best thing we loved about Huma is their restaurant service, especially the manager there Mr Gul who ensured that we had a comfortable stay. They have huge underground paid parking, very accessible location if you wanna tour around Montenegro.. Stunning!

I was slightly worried after booking the hotel and seeing the negative reviews, but our week stay has been fantastic. The reception staff and check in was great , our room was really nice and cleaned daily and the location was excellent. Breakfast had a good choice of items and all the staff were really pleasant and helpful. A most relaxing week of doing not much at all!

We are absolutely in love with this place! It’s hidden gem 💎 We’ve been in various places in Montenegro but keep returning to this one again and again! The view is unbelievable. The stuff is well trained and very accommodated. Rooms are specious with beautiful modern interiors and amazing view. Hotel has a great beach with pier, so it allows to come by boat. Also, they have invite amazing Djs. Locations is fantastic as its easy to get to places and has couple of top restaurants in walking distance.

Stayed here for a week after our other hotel cancelling on us. Staff were amazing, breakfast was really high quality. Food was amazing and lots of variety, the staff princess and arman were so so kind and attentive they deserve a raise! They knew most the customers it shows they love their jobs. Loved the room and the beach and pool. Was definitely 5 star.

Everything was great. Welcome at the reception was really nice, we were surprised to see that the guy at the reception speaks Turkish. A very good welcome, the reception was always available for us throughout our stay. The guy at the reception also recommended us the great hotel restaurant Mudra, and really the food was excellent, a recommendation for the restaurant. I have no complaints, it was a little late with cleaning the room, but when it was cleaned, it was flawless, I have no complaints about anything, would really recommended this hotel.

Gul is one of those people who makes every guest feel valued. His leadership in the food and beverage team is outstanding — everything runs smoothly, and the service is always exceptional. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the staff and the guests. Thank you, Gul, for making the experience so special!

This hotel is a disgrace. I can safely say it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in hundreds. We checked in to the hotel on the 29/8/2025 but our room was not ready at the check-in time of 15:00. But when we eventually got up to the room we were in total shock. The fruit in the welcome fruit platter was absolutely rotten and mouldy. See the pictures attached. I went down to reception with the plate and asked to see the manager. I showed him plate. He apologized but did not offer me any compensation. Even though I paid 439 euro for one night's stay at this hotel, the manager was not prepared to compensate me for this disgrace. By the way, when we checked out there was another quest at reception who complained bitterly about this hotel. There were also other issues. For example, they have the 3 in 1 Nescafe sachets in the room. Late that night I prepared a coffee and after I poured the water into the mug I needed to stir the coffee, but there was no spoon or even a stick to stir the coffee. You cannot drink that 3 in 1 coffee without stirring it. You have been warned, do NOT stay at this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Worth paying extra for a bay view (we didn’t)!! Well situated for Kotor. Also a nice beach. House cat has the staff well trained.
