Hümanette

This play cafe is so spacious! I’ve been to several other play cafes in the KC metro area, and this one is the most spacious and prettiest one I’ve been to. Workers were friendly and the parking wasn’t bad (I live in the ‘burbs, so I always get nervous about street parking). Probably my favorite thing about it: all of my kids were entertained. My oldest is 9 and youngest is 3, and it’s really hard to find places that allow both ages and entertain both ages.

My precious great granddaughter's first time at Humanette. She absolutely loved playing with all the wonderful toys. She didn't want to leave, and I couldn't blame her. We will definitely come back.

Very clean and very great place for young ones! Brought my 10month old and there was a lot of toys she enjoyed playing with. Staff was friendly and the muffin and coffee I tried were top notch. Will definitely be going back some time :)

We went for the first time and my children had so much fun! Ages 2 and 4 and they were fully occupied for 2 hours. There were many toys I'd never seen before, and everything was SO aesthetic. It is a bit pricy, but if you need a moment or to catch up with a friend or to get work done this is it! We met friends there and actually got to catch up some while our children played. They also had great Matcha, which can be hard to find in KC sometimes.

We had my daughter’s 2nd birthday party here. Jamie was great to work with and the kids had a blast! I didn’t have to do any work and the staff was all amazing. We also love going just for play time during the week! Great addition to Brookside.

We reserved the space for a private birthday party and had a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They even offered to help bring things in, which was such a nice touch. Throughout the event, they were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The space was very clean and well-maintained, with no surprises—exactly what we expected and more. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a special place for your little one.

Was looking for a place to have my Grandbaby's 1st Birthday Party, that was age appropriate, being that she likes to tumble around, crawl and touch Everything... I was Googling away, when I came across this little GEM of a place, hidden in plain sight, in Brookside. It's bigger than it looks and the babies, toddlers, to the older children had a really great time. My Family Enjoyed this place. The Staff was extremely attentive, courteous, and kind. I'm certain that a few of my friends and family, will be booking a party for their little one or just going to play, during the week.

Humanette was the perfect place to host our son’s 2nd birthday! The staff was so attentive and kind and made the planning process so easy. Our guests of all ages enjoyed the beautiful space, highly recommend!

Humanette is part of this new movement of what I would call play cafes. Places that fill the need of a cafe that is kid friendly, where your kid can play in a safe and kid friendly zone, and you can sip on a coffee and catch up with friends in a pleasant environment. Some of my close friends chose Humanette as a venue for my baby shower and it really was perfect, especially if you, like me are on your second kid and know that a good amount of children will be in attendance. The kids had a BLAST playing in the play area, and the grown ups enjoyed a really elegant adult party in the cafe. It was my first time visiting and I'm already thinking about a return visit once this baby comes with some girlfriends and our kiddos!
