Humble Crumble | Borough Market

Got the crumble with frozen custard on top! It wasn’t too busy when we went so it was quick from ordering to being served - it’s handy having the screens to place your order. We had some issues with the screens initially but the team members helped us out. A nice, tasty treat when exploring Borough Market. We were only in London for a few days and this was a must on the list to visit - I only wish there were some up in Scotland as I wanted to try more flavours!

We were really looking forward to having this supposedly artisan dessert in the Burrough Market, but our experience was not that good. Long queues, waiting time would not matter if the stuff meets your expectations. I selected the classic one with apple and cinnamon... the crumble only looked good in appearance. I believe it is overhyped. The staff could have been more courteous.

Omg. Im usually not a sweet tooth but this was out of this world!! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and everything combing was just so amazing. Especially, Sarah and Jade, they were so lovely and friendly!! Will be returning again for sure

Very lovely dessert, the hype was worth it. Posted all over tiktok and social media. There was a queue but didnt wait too long to order. They have kiosks you order from and the crumble came within 6 mins. Ordered the classic crumble with cold custard. I recommend getting hot custard with it. Price is a bit high but if you do like crumble get the large size.

Borough Market is filled with influencer driven "must eats", sadly most of them are overhyped but one which is NOT and worth the line wait is Humble Crumble I tried their classic apple cinnamon+hot custard with rose petal toppings and it was perfect for the rainy afternoon. The custard was not too sweet and apple-cinnamon crumble was flavourful and moist. I had this again at Camden, on my short holiday to the UK and if I were living in London, I'd make it a weekly indulgence 😅 Yummy!

This is a very unique dessert shop that was on my “must try” list for my trip to London. I’m very familiar with getting an ice cream or donut after a meal for my dessert, but getting a fresh apple crumble with custard is not something I’ve ever done before. Not only was this crumble delicious, it was also so pretty and photogenic. I loved it, and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a special treat!

Really delicious apple cinnamon crumble with hot custard. A-must-try dessert in Borough Market, especially the most popular hot custard for the topping. Next time we will definitely come back, and try other toppings. Seating area is not available for customers, but there are seating areas near to the food stall. Public toilets are located close to the food stall.

Lovely dessert we'll worth it my daughter has asked for 13 months to get one and we finally made it. Queue went quickly. Only down side is trying to hear them call out the order. Im slightly deaf especially in noisy areas but the caller was very very quiet. Thank you for the lovely dessert xxx
