My favorite furniture store in NYC. Exceptionally well curated - the owner was incredibly kind and provided terrific service. We bought a couch today and it was a seamless experience! Can’t wait to come back and continue to fill our home with treasures from Humble House!

Very cute store for vintage retro modern furniture and home goods. It's like shopping in your parents homes cause what goes around, comes around. Some of the prices are on the higher end, but they're also clearly value.

Kayln has a beautiful shop and amazing associates who work there. Ryan was a huge help today! I recently discovered Humble House last weekend while working about the neighborhood and had my eyes on a dresser. Well I finally pulled the trigger and bought it today. Ryan was a huge help and great to talk with. Thank you again and I will CERTAINLY be back again soon!

Humble House has interesting furniture. However, every time I enter the staff or owner? turns their nose up at me and a friend. Perhaps we don’t “look right” I’m not really sure why. Even when approached and said “hello” to, a staff member acted as if I wasn’t in front of her. Very rude and disconcerting. I was especially happy to support the business after it opened start of pandemic. I thought the husband and wife team was cute. I will not ever recommend this place now. Sad! Such cute stuff and I feel as though I can never enter even though I pass by walking the pup every day and frequent the other businesses on the same block. Hope they fix how they approach would be customers, no matter how they look.

This 3 star review is split down the middle. FANTASTIC furniture. HORRIBLE customer service(see previous reviews). I stumbled upon this store looking for a 6 drawer chest. Most chests (Ikea, Design by Reach, Macys, etc.) are limited to 5 drawers. I found a SEVEN drawer chest. And natural wood. Let's go!!! The price was high but right!!! The only associate was helping a couple who was actually buying. ☝️. Waited patiently, with no acknowledgement though, for him to finish his sale. Then a wonderful lady sat in the swivel chair next to me and said " Have you been waiting as long as I have". We started cracking up. The sales associate could have had 3K in sales if he would have just acknowledged the others who were there waiting. He simply zoned in on his immediate sale. Lost thousands for hundies. No hate, whatsoever, just basic. FYI, while he was making his sale, he started wolfing down take out. You can't make this up. I still want the dresser but can't deal with basic customer service. I work in an industry where service is key. On point, evey hour, all day, everday. The furniture is awesome. Let me highlight, AWESOME. But man, I cannot drop $$$ where service is so so so subpar and not openly given. Sometimes we just have to be aware of where money is spent...Don't take my word. Look at the other > 3 star reviews.
