"Humboldt Park: Fieldhouse, Humboldt Park. Equally stunning and decrepit, the 1928-built Field House misses the days when boats emerged from its bowels. Inside is full of great decorative stonework and marble pillars, but despite $1.7 million of repairs in the last few years, it still feels like a neglected post-apocalyptic set piece."

My son is on the football team and they play football in the field beside the field house. Good field, plenty of parking on street. Lot of grassy areas for watching the game.

My children come here for camp and activities, always a great spot to be in. They offer many activities for youngsters as well as activities for adults. The gym is clean and very spacious with lots of good looking equipment. I really like that there's a lot of light. Management office is right off the gym and someone is almost always in there if you have questions or need to sign up for activities. Employees are very nice and accommodating, can't say enough about them, they really are great.

Even though this is my neighborhood love my neighborhood but and I mean BUT the beach has to be clean it all has to be pulled out that's including that water at the bottom if he pulled out and resurfaced is still smells so bad and people are not getting sick from it... So if you want to do something positive and correct you would scrape up all that old sand and put fresh new sand dirt whatever so we could enjoy that Beach from all the contaminants that are in that water.. but Chicago Park District think it's okay well it's not..

This historic park and field house are gems for the community and city. They offer after-school programs, arts, ceramics, boxing, music, fitness center, summer camp, and many other programs. The park itself has prairies, trails, a pool, boathouse, stablehouse, baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis, soccer, a garden, and many other amenities. This is one of the busiest innercity regional parks in Chicago. The Puerto Rican community has especially made Humboldt Park its home.

The sports programs are so great for the kids. Really builds community.

I'm a senior and I was disappointed that there was no program's there for seniors. They do have a nice fitness room with free weights and machines, treadmills and exercycles. Looks like the focus there is teens which is a good thing, for that I would rate them with a five stars.

The Chicago Parks are so underrated. Humboldt park offers art classes, salsa classes, music lessons and sports. The websites aren’t that helpful- the best way to get information is to show up and ask. I know, “it’s crazy to show up with no information” but just try it. It’s totally worth it.

Just a park. Nothing cute, a little dirty I wouldn’t take my kids here. We went for a Photoshoot and it was ok! couple of places you can use.
