Kinda the "only game in town" if you're out at Hume Lake or this area of the National park/forest land.
The food is decent, although definitely not in the top best burgers I've ever had. Haven't tried their milkshakes, yet, but they may be good?
The views and scenery can be great!
Be prepared, however, that the service can be quite slow when they are busy. I've waited upwards of 30-40 minutes for our order, and routinely they'll jump around numbers and appear to go out of line from when the orders were placed, so that might be frustrating for some.
I think it's helpful to stress this for people trying to plan their day, expect it to take at least an hour from start-to-finish here, by the time you park, wait in line, place your order, find a table, wait for your order, etc...
Another point that needs to be stressed is it seems restroom facilities are extremely limited, here! You used to be able to "sneak" up to the restrooms right at the entrance of the lodging area, next to the gas station, but those have since been out-fitted with key codes/card readers, so not open to the public. The one sole "out-house" type restroom in the day-use public parking area was essentially un-usable last time I was up, it was that dirty/gross.
Also, not really a "con"-per se or any fault of the establishment, but be prepared for 0 cell service here! Just for planning purposes. I have T-Mobile, so not a big surprise, but my brother has Verizon and he didn't have any service either. So, just be prepared for that.
