The pita bread was made fresh. It was soft, warm, and puffy. I could tell they were handmade and not store-bought. The hummus was definitely great and it makes sense to be the highlight of the restaurant. I will definitely come back for the hummus.
However, I didn't like the yellow basmati rice and falafel balls. The rice didn't taste fresh - I didn't like the consistency as some of them were sticking to each other. The falafel balls looked great, super crispy on the outside and moist inside, but IMO the taste itself was nothing special - just basic falafel.
Great service though. The waiter kept giving me refills of the sauces I finished and cold service water. I also loved the generous serving sizes. Elijah's Combo was too much for me so I had to takeaway some leftovers.
