Hummus House

Wow, what a lovely spot! 🤩 The atmosphere is super cozy, and the staff greeted us with such warm, friendly hospitality. We were in a huge rush to catch our bus, and they were absolute rockstars—they pointed us to the quickest option (the Shawarma wraps) and got us served right away. Let's talk about the food: The Shawarma: We got the chicken and beef. Both were great, but I personally loved the beef! The garlic aioli on the side was perfect. 😋 The Falafel: Honestly, some of the best falafels I've ever had. They were so fresh and (plot twist!) filled with cheese. 🧀 Such a delicious surprise! The restaurant smelled amazing, and the portion sizes were very generous. Everything felt high-standard and fresh. My only suggestion for this wonderful place: The food and service are 5-star, but the restrooms (lavabo/tuvalet) and some of the walls could use a little TLC. 🛠️ They felt a bit dark and seemed like they needed some repairs. The prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality of the food is definitely there. I'll absolutely be back to try the rest of the menu when I have more time. FOOD: I ordered the Mad About Chickpeas Set for $7.50. I was stunned by the large portions served. The dish was savory and it satisfied my cravings after a 6-hour bus ride ride. STAFF: Was helpful, kind, and polite. Atmosphere. Nice location but the decor can be better, and the menu needs to be reprinted.

Very authentic, high quality hummus and Lebanese food. This is a cut above most restaurants in Phnom Penh. I've had many things on their menu. My favorite is the hummus. Second favorite are the chopped potatoes in sauce. 3rd favorite is the falafel. My advice is to order as many things as you can here that have hummus. It is fresh, delicious, healthy, and authentic.

One of the best hummus I had in SE Asia!! Creamy texture and authentic taste. Fresh pita to go with it. Shawarma was good too!! Staff were very welcoming. 100% recommend.

Updated: I tried the new weekend menu “smoky fish” and it was terrible, way too smoky. I wouldn’t recommend it. My first experience with hummus in Phnom Penh couldn't have been better! The taste is absolutely amazing 🤩, and despite ordering the small portion, the serving size was surprisingly generous. The prices are reasonable, and the service is top. Located conveniently in front of the riverside, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious hummus in the city.

It’s not far from the night market. The service was excellent, the menu was extensive. The atmosphere was peaceful and orderly. The food was great. It’s highly recommended by friends for authentic Lebanese food. Everything was reasonably priced, and we ordered fresh plain yogurt drink, classic hummus, tabbouleh, and moussaka. Every dish was fresh and delicious, and the pita bread was warm. It was a great meal.

Honestly, absolutely love this spot. My friend and I went here as soon s we got off the bus when we arrived in Phnom Penh for a few days work and we ended up ordering it delivery for lunch every single day after!! The restaurant itself was extremely comfortable and we found the team to be extremely kind and accommodating with extensive knowledge of the menu and great recommendations. The food itself was the true highlight though. I can't wait to get back to the Capitol again or convince these guys to open in SIem Reap!
