Hunas Falls Hotel - A Small Luxury Resort

This was our third visit to Hunas Falls Hotel, and it was absolutely special. We stayed for two nights in July for a family holiday with our 1.5-year-old son.||From the start, everything was smooth. I only had to send one WhatsApp message to Mr. Janaka, and he took care of the rest. Our little one enjoyed the trip even more than we did, which says a lot!||A big shout-out to the restaurant staff – Rachini, Shenali, and Dhananjaya – who were incredibly patient and helpful. Since we were dining with a toddler, we took to finish a meals, but they never hesitated to support us with a smile.||The highlight was my wife’s birthday. I only asked for a cake, but they went the extra mile and decorated the room with balloons too. Such a thoughtful gesture!||The surroundings are as stunning as ever, and the service truly makes you feel at home. Thank you to the entire team for making it another memorable holiday. Looking forward to our next stay!

At the recommendation of a friend who had stayed at the hotel some years ago I made a 2 night stay in July. We stayed in the Katsura Suite which had a lovely Japanese theme design. Comfortable and spacious with gorgeous views over the garden and into the hills beyond.Sitting on the patio looking out into the hills I felt like I was watching an ever changing painting. I've enjoyed many trips into the hill country before but I must say that these views were really special. The staff were very helpful,friendly and met all our requests. From the greeting on arrival to helping us on the morning of departure really attentive staff. Food was tasty and beautifully served. Nice selection for all tastes on the menu. The large garden is perfectly maintained. Wonderfully calming to walk around the garden and lake.Small golf course too...wish I had brought a putter . Next visit I'll plan for a longer stay! Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s location is breathtaking, set on high ground with truly iconic views from the rooms. The weather was perfect, adding to the overall experience. The staff were warm and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. While the road leading to the hotel is a bit challenging, it’s completely worth the effort once you arrive.

My stay at the hotel was for tourism, and honestly, it was one of the most luxurious and memorable experiences I’ve ever had. The cleanliness was absolutely outstanding — everything was spotless and perfectly maintained. As for the staff? I can confidently say they are the best in the world. Professional, courteous, and incredibly attentive — the level of customer service made me feel like a true VIP throughout my stay. The location is excellent — close to all major attractions, peaceful, and offers breathtaking views. One of the absolute highlights was the food. Every meal was a delight, and I genuinely believe the hotel restaurant serves the most delicious cuisine in the entire country. The variety, quality, and presentation were nothing short of top-tier. What truly sets this hotel apart is their exceptional handling of situations. I arrived earlier than my check-in time, and not only did they allow me to check in early, but they also upgraded me to a larger room than the one I originally booked. Later, when I experienced a bit of noise from a nearby room with a small child, I mentioned it to the staff — they immediately apologized and upgraded me again to their best available room! That level of care and attention is extremely rare to find. In short, this was an extraordinary stay from beginning to end, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and impeccable service

We enjoyed the stay and it was a wonderful experience. Your service and facilities are excellent, specially the highlanders suite is well designed and wonderful. It's better to improve the quality of food and be ready to manage a big crowd. Please inform to repair the road to your hotel. It will add value to your property. Thank you.

Family of three of us went for lunch on 5th Aug 2025. + Restaurant staff was amazing , they got the best staff in the industry. Bio Diversity show room is worth a visit. Two managers i met are top Notch. They are knowledge and explanations about the environment / species are outstanding. - Facility is worn out. Management needs to invest to keep it up to date. View from restaurant is very dull.

We surprised our parents with a trip to Hunas Falls for their 35th wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff were so kind, the food was delicious, and the breathtaking view made the stay extra special. Thanks to Samadhi and the whole team it was truly a memory to cherish forever!

We stayed at Hunas Falls Hotel and had an amazing experience. The hotel is located near the Hunnas waterfall and is surrounded by mountains. It features a beautiful, spacious garden filled with flowers and other plants. The hotel also has its library and a museum with live specimens collected from the nearby forest.||During our stay, we had the chance to walk around the hotel and visit a small waterfall nearby. There is a short path from the hotel leading to it. We went there in the morning; the water was ice-cold, but we still enjoyed a refreshing bath.||The food was delicious, and Mr. Keerthi Ekanayake was extremely helpful in arranging meals during our stay. The customer service by restaurant staff was outstanding, and all the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.
