Stayed at Hunas Falls Hotel in Kandy — an unforgettable experience from start to finish.||Executive Chef Keerthi was outstanding. He personally ensured we were well taken care of, going the extra mile with custom food recommendations tailored to our taste — especially for vegetarian and Indian cuisine. The Sri Lankan food was authentic and flavorful, and we even tried innovative creations like a pasta dish with a local twist...impressive both in taste and presentation.||The service matched the food. Dhananjay and the ladies on the service team were incredibly cooperative and made us feel right at home. The front desk staff were just as warm and professional...always ready to help.||The chlorine-free swimming pool deserves a special mention. With a depth of 2.5 meters, it felt like swimming in a natural mountain lake — pure, refreshing, and surrounded by nature.||Rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The property itself is beautifully kept, with scenic walking trails, gardens, and quiet corners that let you breathe. But the real highlight? The view — absolutely mind-blowing. Waking up to waterfalls and mist-covered mountains is something else.||Hunas Falls Hotel is a rare blend of good food, hospitality, and serene luxury in nature. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely spacious room with a view. Three of us stayed but it wasn’t claustrophobic. Staff were very kind and helpful. Pool is average. The best feature is the short trek to the top of Hunas Falls. We had a great time! Definitely coming back once again. Peaceful and relaxing.

We visited Hunas Falls Hotel for a lunch date, and I must say, it was beyond extraordinary. The food was delicious, but what truly stole the show was the breathtaking view. A special mention to Mr. Wasantha, the manager who assisted us with such warmth and attention to detail. The entire staff was equally friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a serene escape with great food and even better service.

A Magical Stay at Hunas Falls – Truly Unforgettable! My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Hunas Falls Hotel, Kandy on the 3rd of May, and it was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had. We arrived around 4:30 PM without having made an advance payment—just a simple phone booking—and yet, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality imaginable. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with genuine kindness and care. Traveling with my wife, my parents, and our 7-month-old baby, we were particularly touched by how attentive and accommodating everyone was. They even prepared special meals for our infant, which meant a lot to us. The room was exceptionally comfortable, and the balcony view was nothing short of breathtaking—a serene, panoramic landscape straight out of a postcard. The hotel’s private waterfall, Upper Hunas Falls, and the surrounding environment made us feel like we were in a little piece of paradise. Though occupancy was low during our stay and we were on a set menu, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff graciously served us more when requested. It felt like they genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. One of the most remarkable things was their understanding and flexibility. We ended up checking out almost three hours late, but instead of rushing us, they patiently gave us the space we needed, especially considering we had a baby with us. It’s that level of empathy and professionalism that truly sets Hunas Falls apart. From the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, to the stunning natural beauty and the friendly, always-smiling staff, everything was five-star. Without a doubt, I give this hotel a 5 out of 5 rating, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, rejuvenating getaway with family or loved ones. Thank you, Hunas Falls Hotel, for making our stay so special. We’ll definitely be back!

We recently stayed at Hunas Falls, and it was such a peaceful and refreshing escape. The property is absolutely beautiful the gardens are well looked after, and the views are nothing short of spectacular. It’s one of those places where you can just sit and take in the scenery for hours.||||Our room was spacious and cozy, with a lovely view that made waking up each morning feel extra special.||||We went on one of the hikes during our stay, and it was honestly a highlight. The surroundings are stunning, and the trail itself was a great experience peaceful, scenic, and well worth it.||||Food wise, there’s room for improvement. It wasn’t bad, and the pricing is reasonable, but the flavors could definitely be better. Hopefully something that gets fine tuned over time.||||A big shoutout to Sachith, who was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay. He really went out of his way to assist us, and it’s that kind of service that makes a place memorable.||||the road leading to the hotel is narrow, and the last kilometer is quite rough, with a lot of potholes. It’s manageable, but better to go in a vehicle with good ground clearance to avoid any trouble, especially if it’s been raining||||All in all, Hunas Falls is a special spot if you’re looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.
