Hung Shing Yeh Beach

Hung Shing Yeh beach is Lamma island's most well known beach. It's a nice beach with shallow water making it safe for anyone and everyone to go into the water. There is a toilet as well as changing and showering facilities and there are bars, food stalls and a couple of restaurants in the area

I had a nice time at this beach. It is not far away from Yeung Shue Wan Ferry Pier and has all the amenities like showers, toilets and changing rooms (separated for men and women). The beach is sandy and has a really cool view. I have not been on a beach with such view on a power plant. The sea itself is somewhat clean (no trash but cannot see on the bottom) and quite shallow even further away from the beach so it is quite safe. There are also small fish swimming around. Next time I’m on Lamma, I would like to visit again.

This is a very nice beach, even though there are a few rocks, the water is clear and there is a nice sitting, eating and bbq area.

The most visited beach on Lamma Island. Didn't see washed up rubbish on the beach. The water is an olive green and a bottle murky, but little rubbish floating around. There are washing and changing facilities, benches to sit on, restaurants, places that rent beach essentials, and lifeguards. It's one of the nicest and cleanest beaches I've been to in Hong Kong

Pretty well maintained beach with proper bathing and toilet facilities. Surrounding is clean with a number of shops and eateries. Sand is fine and water is calm at time of visit. A perfect place for family and friends to chill over some snacks and drinks.

Had a fun time with my come. Best time to swim is early morning. Lot of insects though. The beach was full of trash. I gope it could be cleaner.

I went on the weekday. So there aren’t many people. Peaceful beach. Good for visiting if you want to escape from the city.
