Google
Enjoyed a late Thanksgiving lunch; a bit pricey but the food was delicious and portion sizes are large. It was fun to sit near the water and watch people feed the tarpons while fighting off the pelicans. Only downside was the bugs (smaller than fleas but biting!) Also enjoyed walking around the shops.

Tina S.

Google
Neat stop. Lots of little shops. The food was really amazing. You get a decent portion. The goats cheese, bacon and raspberry jelly sliders are great! Views of the ocean and bridge. WE HAD A GREAT service which is hard to come by. Also had a device that was delicious.

Google
Stopped by for lunch and enjoyed every bite of my sandwich. The views, the food and the service were fantastic. This place looks like a fun place in the evening. Wish we had time to stay around for dinner.

Lana A L.

Google
I was unsure if I would find a gluten free meal but Johnny was so helpful & ensured I knew what I could choose. I had grilled mahi mahi tacos on corn tacos. It was very good.

Google
Absolutely beautiful spot by the water and ships. If you choose to sit by the deck you can watch people feed the tarpon and usually there's some pelicans and other birds nearby. Hate to do this, but I will say the food is on the pricier side and sadly I found to be quite lackluster with exception of the lobster bisque. The drinks are much smaller than establishments with similar price points. I think we went to maybe 25 restaurants in the time we were in this area and this one has the longest wait and slowest service of all of them. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks. Certainly they were short-staffed however not busy either.

Google
Got in quickly, food and set up was great. They have a variety of seating to choose from. Our server Natalie was great, she was super friendly and gave great recommendations for food and local advise.

Maria K.

Google
Great versatile menu and food. Able to offer lots of gluten free options and vegetarian/pescatarian options too. Good flavor and service. Staff was kind and guided us to a cooler spot.

Google
Top of the line Conch Fritters. Mahi and Grouper sandwiches were fantastic. Key Lime Martini is very refreshing (according to my wife). Great service from bartender John E (last stop) and waiter Adley ( this stop). Strongly reommend the experience if you are in the Keys!

Yelp
Johnny was awesome! Great experience! We will definitely recommend Robbie's to friends and family

Yelp
Excellent food and outstanding service from Henri! I had the chilled shrimp salad and my sister had a chicken wrap. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Overall this is a nice place for a chill afternoon. The food is good. We had: 1. Lobster bisque. Has a mild kick of heat. It is a bit thinner than lobster bisque's I've had in the past. It could have had a bit more lobster but the broth was tasty. 2. Mahi taco (blackened) - has an expected kick but a great portion of fish and cooked to perfection. 3. Kids burger: juicy and very tasty. Fries were ok. Restaurant had a nice view of the water and people feeding tarpon.

Yelp
We've been coming to The Hungry Tarpon for over 15 years, and it has always been one of our must-stop spots -- especially for the Thai Mahi Fingers. Unfortunately, over the past two years, the quality has gone downhill, and it's really disappointing to see such a longtime favorite change for the worse. The Thai Mahi Fingers used to be amazing -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served with enough of that incredible sauce to dip every piece. Now, not only are the portions smaller ($19 for just 4 fingers when it used to be 6-7), but the sauce has been watered down significantly. When I asked for an extra side of sauce, I realized they're actually mixing it with water. For a place that does as much business as they do, there's no reason to cut corners like this. The sauces are what made the dish, and without them, it's just not the same. Some things should never change, and this was one of them. Sadly, the value and quality just aren't there anymore. The server was amazing, loved her. I can't speak to much on the atmosphere as they moved all the tables under a shelter so we have no view of the water. Unfortunately we will not be back here.

Yelp
Food was good it was busy I had the mahi fish tacos they had great flavors. My wife had the tuna sliders I wasn't a fan but she liked them. Of course this place is surrounded by shops and you can feed the tarpon for a fee which was neat. Cool place to stop for a meal and some entertainment.

Yelp
Made reservations for a larger party and was seated right away by Lindsey. Nicole was our waitress and was right on top of refills. The lobster bisque soup has great flavor! Food was quick to come out for our large party. Everyone loved their meal choices. Would def recommend this place!

Yelp
Such a great place. The views are extraordinary! There is outdoor seating and some indoor space, as well. This entire location is like a shopping village and a restaurant, as well as a coffee/ice cream trailer. It reminded me of South of the Border along 95, but with better merchandise and a tropical vibe. It's a great place to stop. You can feed fish and see pelicans too. There is ample parking, but this is a busy place. Ricky was our server and she was fantastic. Very friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. She was super busy but never made us feel rushed. The food & drinks were FABULOUS!!! Get the trailer trash bloody!! So good. Everything that was ordered was amazing. Several different types of fish sandwiches were ordered, conch fritters, and sweet potato fries - all delicious. It is incredibly delicious and fresh. It was amazing that every single thing we ordered was just fantastic. Great place to stretch your legs, shop, get terrific food and just chill!

Yelp
Great location, great food and Jana made it awesome. She was polite and excellent at her job and took great care of us. Thank you Jana!

Yelp
My beautiful wife & I tried the Hungry Tarpon this evening. Overall it was good. Service was fast & friendly. The food came out very quickly & hot. We had an appetizer of fried Mac & cheese which went very well taste wise with the marina sauce. My wife got the hummus platter which was overall good but could have used more garlic & lemon. I got the fish & chips. It was decent but not great. The fries were fine, the fish was ordinary not bad but nothing to rave about. My wife however gave VERY high marks to the coleslaw. She is a connoisseur of this item & really enjoyed it. We liked it but didn't love it hence the 4 stars.

Joseph A.

Yelp
Fantastic atmosphere and food but the best part was the service Jana did a fantastic job and was very Helpful

Yelp
Hungry Tarpon truly welcomes you into the Keys. Great spot overlooking the Gulf and the tarpon feeding on the marina. It's a fun mix of watching tarpon flying out of the water and pelicans going for the gold. Perfect place to start off the day with a Trailer Trash Bloody Mary. This was the best Bloody Mary I've had in all of Florida -- Savannah, GA coming in a close 2nd. It was topped with a succulent shrimp, sausage, bacon, 3 olives, and a hearty stalk of celery. I went with the Blackened Mahi Reuben -- a fresh and generous portion of Mahi topped with Swiss cheese. 1000 island, and coleslaw on griddled rye. They made it legendary! After lunch, we got a bucket of fish to feed the tarpon. Hold onto your buckets! The pelicans eyeballed them and will get those fish! This was an unforgettable early lunch before the trip to Key West.

Yelp
Robbie's Islamorada 5-1-25 When we are in the Keys we must stop by Robbie's. This place is a true Keys wonder. Lots of items for sale and tons of things to do. You can Fish, Rent Kayaks, Rent Paddle Board, or Rent Boats. You book a ride on a Glass Bottom Boat, Jet Skies or Eco Tours. You can go scuba Diving, Snorkeling, or a Sunset Cruise. You can feed the Tarpon at thew docks or eat in the Hungry Tarpon Restaurant overlooking the Harbor or just plain Shop at all the little buildings on the property. There is just so much to do and see no wonder this place was voted #1 for tourist to visit. We go there early on Friday morning around 10ish. This place was already hopping with lot of people. We decided to get breakfast at the Hungry Tarpon Restaurant as it was too early for lunch. I ordered 2 eggs, Home Fries, Sausage and Toast. My wife ordered 2 Eggs, Home Fries, Bacon, and Toast. My dad order 2 blueberry Pancakes. Our order came out fast and it looked very good. All our eggs were done just like we wanted them and the Hash Bowns were even good. My dad stated these were the best Pancakes in the Keys. All our food was hot and every tasty. Our waitress kept checking on us to see if we needed anything else. Only negative was when we went to pay the bill somehow the internet was down, and it took a long time until they could take our cash for payment. I would give Robbie's 5 out of 5 stars simply because this place is so cool, and the food is not that bad. After we were done eating, we went over to feed the Tarpon which is a little charge for the fish food then on to shopping for the wife. Follow Me On FB For More Reviews & Fun. Gulf Coast Terry

Yelp
Natalie did a fantastic job. We had a group of 5 teens and an adult and she was patient and enthusiastic. The lobster tail was great.
google avatar

Angie R.

Yelp
Service was great. I had the whole snapper, it's a Fresh catch. Only thing I wish I would of asked it without the Thai sauce, I think it would of tasted better without it. But still would order it again. The asparagus was delicious. Ou table also got the calamari, you can tell it was fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
Friendly waitstaff. Service was outstanding and attentive. For was wonderful. Biscuits and gravy were very good. The Glaze Donut French Toast was out of this world. Eggs and sausage & scallion potatoes were wonderful. Ambiance on the waterfront perfect. Nice breeze coming in. Heaters were on and felt good on this morning. A must not miss. Gift shops, kayaking, boat rides. Perfect. Can get very busy.

Yelp
We stop here every time we are on the way home from key west. 11/10 Shirley temples, had the bbq short rib grilled cheese and it was fire. The crab cake sando is fire as well.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this place was a HUGE disappointment today. First off, our server was one of the worst I have ever had. I am a former server so I understand if things just aren't their fault but there was so much wrong with her. She could have cared less about us being there. I was a little worried after she came up to our table and didn't even really introduce herself and didn't ask us if we'd ever been there. She also took FOREVER to come and take our order. Now, we did ask for an extra minute to decide but then it was another 10 minutes before she came back. She may have had one other table than us. Unacceptable. Then when we did get our meals, my wife didn't get tartar sauce that was supposed to come with her sandwich and she was nowhere to be found. When we finally did get her attention, she ended up forgetting that we asked her about it. My wife's fish was cold by the time she got the sauce. Definitely one of the worst experiences of a server I've ever encountered. Just because of this, I would definitely stay away. If the food was really good, I would feel differently, but it wasn't. I will start with the positives... My son got the lobster pasta and he LOVED it. It was really good. Our other son got the bbq burger and he enjoyed his as well. My wife's Crunchy Grouper Sandwich was dry... Especially without any sauce. My Mahi Rueben sandwich was not good either. It was supposed to come with 1000 island but it did not. The fish did not taste well either. Our conch fritter appetizer was overcooked as well. Probably giving the a 2 is a little high but the view in the outdoor area was pretty cool overlooking the marina as fishing boats came in with their catches. Come here for feeding the Tarpons, not the food.

Yelp
We LOVE hungry tarpon! (Also known as Robbie's Tarpon). On our way back from Key West we looked for a little stop off to grab some food on our way back to the airport at Fort Lauderdale. So glad we stopped here! The food was delicious and the place was pure magic; tarpon and pelicans feeding within a few feet. Natalie was the nicest server - so welcoming and attentive. Genuinely the most fun, bizarre and interesting place to eat and relax that you'll find in the area.

Braydon S.

Yelp
Food ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! Stiff was cold and the buffalo tacos were more a salad than tacos !
google avatar

Joelle B.

Yelp
Came around 11:30 on a weekday for lunch. No wait outside with a great view! Came to feed the Tarpon's at Robbies, ate at the Hungry Tarpon instead! Blackened mahi sandwich with Pretzel roll was fantastic- fresh and well seasoned. Blackened mahi tacos "10/10" from hubby. Natalie is a rockstar! Quick service with a smile:)
google avatar

Jill H.

Yelp
Go here for ambience and excitement of looking like a hole in the wall but appealing to the masses. Food was fine - mahi mahi fingers, grouper sandwich (this stood out as most different dish with its fried crustiness), and fish (haddock, nothing great) and chips. Service was friendly enough, again, nothing outstanding. A better spot for enjoying alcohol if you're into it.
google avatar

Sophia C.

Yelp
10/10 so good. I can't drive to the keys without stopping here. Seems basic but I always get the mahi tacos and I don't know what sauce they put on it but they need to keep doing that. It's so good. The only reason I don't have a photo of the tacos is because I inhaled them. The sweet potato fries were also amazing. Everything is delicious !!!
google avatar

Kellen L.

Yelp
Go early for a break table by the water. Don't expect many healthy options but if you're looking for a great kid friendly option this is it!!Feeding the tarpons next door is a great experience but watch the Pelicans!
google avatar

Jen M.

Yelp
We came for a late lunch in early August. I had a crunchy grouper sandwich. The food was delicious, the ambiance was restful, and Natalie our server was delightful.
google avatar

Erica E.

Yelp
Service was very quick and friendly. Coconut shrimp were excellent and the triple tail sandwich was really good. They had a tarp over the seats to protect from the sun, which was a nice feature. The view of the water is excellent and it's definitely worth it to stop by and feed the tarpon, after eating.
google avatar

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and great food! We loved the Southwest Blackened Mahi salad, lobster mac and cheese and fish and chips. I know it's a big tourist spot so I didn't have really high expectations for the food but it more than exceeded them! Staff was friendly and service was pretty quick. Be sure to feed the tarpons, that's definitely a fun part of the experience!
google avatar

Victor S.

Yelp
Overall, very good experience. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos. They were really good. The rice and beans were "meh" not so much. My son had Robbie's chicken sandwich. It was huge. The service was great and beer was cold. The ambiance at Robbie's is very cool to say the least.
google avatar

Yelp
Last time l came here few years ago everything was great, l came back looking to Refresh those memories. This time everything horrible, since the hostess ( not even said Hi at least) Food - bad Service- super delay to take order, and to being food make sure that you are not Hungry took about and hour. Taste super salty Ambiance-ok l don't recomend this place at all- keep going to the next restaurant
google avatar

Antonella R.

Yelp
Fun little corner with store and bars and this incredible restaurant. We had lemon grass ribs by the water !!! Ribs Cooked at perfection with a delicate sauce. The service was fast and helped for us to choose . Fun restaurant excellent food.. incredible views ...
google avatar

Jaron K.

Yelp
The food was okay but was not great. The service was very accommodating to our large group. There were some very bad smelling lamps that got put out for us. The food was not good but environment was very fun with many games.

Kelly W.

Yelp
The food was overpriced and was not good at all. I ordered a shrimp cocktail and 6 pieces of very sad looking little shrimp were brought out on a bed of wilted lettuce/spinach. The shrimp was rubbery in texture and not good. We also ordered conch fritters that were not good either. The coconut shrimp we ordered was pretty good.
google avatar

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Delicious food! Loved the glazed donut french toast platter! Our server Natalie was so nice and attentive!

Stacey X.

Yelp
We got the coconut Shrimp as an appetizer and I got the salmon plate while my S/O got a fried Fish Sandwich. And a key lime pie for to go. However, I didn't finish my food so I wanted it to go. As my S/O was paying for our dinner with our waiter Mr. Ivan(he did serve us well.) up until I was scooping my food and right in front of all 3 of us as the payment was approved. There was a piece of hair buried in my mash potato underneath the salmon. And Ivan took it back to the cooks but didn't bother to come back after to say anything to us. We got our key lime pie and waited a minute as Ivan went to give water to another table and passed us and didn't say anything, so we left. Needless to say, something should have been done but didn't... it was a once in a blue moon experience. An expensive hairy dinner experience.
google avatar

Caresse K.

Yelp
The food and experience were amazing! My husband got the blackened mahi mahi and I got the spicy shrimp wrap. Both were amazing! As soon as we got in line we were able to get a table. We will definitely be going back multiple times of our trip!

Yelp
Came here for lunch last Sunday based on everyone's recommendations to check out Robbie's. We had a pretty disappointing meal due to poor service and mediocre pricey food. The place itself is pretty cool with great views, getting to feed the large tarpon and shopping. We started our meal with some fried conch, which I actually really enjoyed. The dipping sauce it comes with it really complements the conch. For entrees I ordered the fried shrimp platter and my gf got fried mahi tacos. The fried shrimp platter was okay. Not much different from any other places deep fried frozen shrimp. Kind of my bad for ordering something so boring. My gfs fried tacos were just okay as well. The size of the fish filets on each of the tacos were very generous so they win on serving size. For our daughter, we ordered her a grilled cheese but we got Mac and cheese instead. This is were the poor service comes in. I totally understand mishearing something somehow. The problem was no one came to check on us after we got our food for like 20 minutes. To pile on to that I could see our server just standing around chatting with another employee for a good 10 minutes, When they did finally come check on us, it was too late to order a grilled cheese as we were almost done eating our food. I ended up sharing my food with her so she at least had something to eat. While I do like Robbie's itself, I would probably pass on eating there again.

Yelp
Really fun stop- just had drinks and a conch fritter. Super fun to walk around and enjoy a drink and browsing the little areas. Trailer trash Bloody Mary - recommend!
google avatar

Randall M.

Yelp
Natalie was amazing. Her recommendation of the white trash. Lost Mary was a hit. The shrimp and grits hit the spot. Amazing place. Amazing service. Amazing view. Amazing food.

Yelp
We kept seeing Robbie's mentioned by many YouTube Key West travel vloggers. Robbie's is located at the northern most point of Islamorada, making it an easy stop while driving down to the lower keys, or leaving The Keys. We decided Robbie's would be a good spot for lunch, as we left our resort in Historic Key West at 10. I was able to easily make a reservation on Open Table reservation for our family of 5 for noon, only 30mins before arriving (on a Wednesday). We were seated on the outdoor covered patio, which offered an occasional waterfront breeze and oscillating fans. Tables and chairs are sturdy, basic condiments and extra napkins were available on each table. We could see others feeding the tarpon on the dock from our table. Our server, Christopher, greeted us promptly and was attentive throughout our meal. I ordered a Tropical Tarpon Punch and a grilled Mahi sandwich (minus the bread to make it gluten free). My husband enjoyed blackened shrimp tacos. My kiddos ordered the kids grilled cheese and kids mac&cheese. My oldest devoured her grilled cheese, served with fries. My younger two gave mixed reviews on their mac&cheese, one really liked but the other said she didn't. Neither finished their hefty portion of mac&cheese. Visitors can feed the tarpon! $12.50 for a bucket of fish, you must pay to walk out onto the dock.

Yelp
We had a great time, feeding the tarpon and eating at Robbie's restaurant our server Natalie was da bomb highly recommend
google avatar

Yelp
Popper burger is super good, Natalie was a great server! Awesome setting, and We got our drinks and food really fast, so we could feed the tarpon

Yelp
This place was pretty solid. I think it's exactly what you're wanting when you show up at the Keys after a long drive. Plenty of parking, plenty of outdoor seating (gets windy at night) and plenty of choices on the menu. We arrived about an hour before closing and were easily and quickly seated - then moved to the bar area which is a bit more covered bc I didn't bring a jacket and it was SO windy - and our server came over to take orders very quickly. We tried the coconut shrimp, a mahi salad and the seafood jambalaya as well as a slice of key lime pie. The coconut shrimp were out really quickly and tasted fresh and hot. My salad was large and delicious and the mahi was very good (grilled) with beans, corn, tomatoes, and fresh veggies. It hit the spot. My husband's jambalaya was loaded with seafood and rice and was very good - but too spicy for my taste. We finished with a slice of Key Lime pie - which was not tart or at all what I expected. Kind'a disappointing. I suppose I thought it would taste better here for some reason but this wasn't even the best I've had in VA. Huge portion sizes - friendly service - great atmosphere. The food was decent - it's a solid 3.5-4 stars on average.
google avatar

Phylicia H.

Yelp
Not the best meal I had, but great location, views and staff. Came here for lunch before our jet ski tour and had great seats outside with a good view to watch people feed the tarpons and see the pelicans attack. Our waitress was very friendly and service was fast. We ordered the southwestern blackened mahi salad and shrimp tacos. The mahi on my salad was very fresh and delicious. Salad itself was just okay. Did not taste fresh, but it got the job done. My bfs tacos were tasty and flavorful. He loved the beans and rice that came with it. I recommend eating here if you have a tour scheduled or stopping by during a road trip. Enormous parking lot with lots of fun things to do and see in this area.

Samantha K.

Yelp
Awesome Mac and Cheese bites, and strawberry daiquiris! Natalie was super sweet and helped us with food and drinks! Highly recommend before or after tarpon feeding!!
google avatar

Yelp
Natalie our server was fantastic!! Atmosphere was great, good table with ocean views, mahi salad was good
google avatar

Debbie J.

Yelp
Food was great - service was exceptional - we enjoyed being able to feed the tarpons - beware of the very aggressive pelicans trying to take the food from you though

Yelp
Natalie was our server in Paradise. We are locals and she was a ray of sunshine and super friendly excellent service #1 we will be back again!

Yelp
Natalie was awesome!! Love this place! Side bowl of cheese grits was HUGE! It also came with bacon. Could split with two people! Yum!
