The greatest highlight of my trip home this time around. I was frozen in the walkway just stricken with how magnificent the beauty of this place is. Everything about it brought me peace. I was not prepared for this life changing encounter. The music softly playing in the garden added a nice touch. I am still in awe of God's creation displayed so beautifully in Hunte's Garden. Great work guys!! Thank you for making my trip memorable in a special way!

The garden is magical. The trail is well paved and the directions are clear. The lush foliage keeps the area cool and comfortable, which is a welcome break from the heat felt outside. There are so many beautiful plants, in various colours, shapes and sizes. There are monkeys roaming freely, frolicking and eating in the trees. There are many sitting areas and nooks along the trail but on the day I visited the seats were wet from the rain. The rain did not make the trail difficult, though. I walked comfortably in sandals without feeling the damp of the ground because the walking path was made of stepping stones. I was told there's a cafe but when I entered the souvenir shop, I saw no café. There's a large balcony seating area overlooking the garden if you want to lounge a bit. There are some art installations, comprised of old technology like typewriters and sewing machines, among other bits I do not recall. Refer to the photos for details.

This garden is absolutely stunning and truly worth a visit. Everywhere you look, there’s something beautiful to take in, whether it’s the thoughtfully placed sculptures, vibrant flowers, or the wide variety of lush plants. One of the highlights is the historic house, set up just as it would have been back in the day, it's like stepping into the past. Scattered throughout the grounds are plenty of cozy sitting areas where you can pause, relax, and fully immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty of nature. It's a place that invites you to slow down and take it all in.

Stunning, tear yourself away from the beach for a few hours here. Lots to secluded seating in an amongst the plants so plenty of rest spots. Classical music is playing as you amble around admiring the plants, super tranquil. There are some steps so you ought to be steady on your feet if you visit. The cafe on the verandah is a delight. Loved it and the super staff! Highly recommended 👍🏼

The abundance of greenery is impressive. It's very cozy and quiet, nice to walk and sit there. The buildings are well preserved, I can't imagine how much effort has been invested in this place🙌🏻

Hunte's Gardens is simply breathtaking! From the moment you approach the entrance, you're met with an overwhelming sense of beauty. It's truly the most stunning garden I've ever had the pleasure of exploring. The sheer variety of plants is astounding, and it's clear that every corner has been thoughtfully curated. The plants are vibrant, healthy, and a testament to the care they receive. What truly sets Hunte's Gardens apart is the incredible attention to detail. The exquisite pots, statues, and winding walkways enhance the natural beauty, creating a magical atmosphere. And they've thoughtfully added numerous small, intimate spaces where you can pause, take a break, and truly soak in the splendor of it all. I can just imagine an artist finding endless inspiration there, or someone simply relaxing with a good book, surrounded by such tranquility. While it might seem compact to those less passionate about plants, for gardening enthusiasts, Hunte's Gardens is an absolute paradise. It's an immersive experience that will leave you in awe. Without a doubt, it's one of the most beautiful gardens you'll ever encounter.

One of the loveliest places on the island, you cannot miss a trip to Hunte’s garden. To start, it was easy to get to and parking was easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The garden is meticulously arranged and cared for. It had the most beautiful and exotic plants that took my breath away. There is ample seating in the shade in the garden where you can relax and take in the beautiful scenery. We very much enjoyed exploring the old house on the property and finished our visit with some delicious ginger lemonade. We will definitely be back.

My family and I visited the gardens the day after attending a family funeral. It was such a beautiful and peaceful place to visit together to reflect on our loss but also to appreciate the beauty of nature in the plants and flowers. As we have family in Barbados, we plan to return to Huntes on our next visit.
