HUT Bali (Shelter Cafe)

Hut Bali, formerly known as Shelter Cafe, is such a fun spot! I visited during Halloween week, and it was an awesome experience. Their special Halloween menu was incredible, my favorite was the chicken burger, probably one of the best I’ve ever had :) They also produce their own products, like homemade jams, sauces, and even canned cocktails (if I’m not mistaken). Definitely worth checking out.

There was a time when they served drinks with reusable metal straws. On my recent visit, they were serving drinks with non-recyclable plastic straws ! Not even paper and definitely not cassava straws, despite the lie of the owner on the answer to my review. I don't understand this regression. The salads were good, but I agree with the other comments that the prices are too high for these amounts of food.

Came twice in our Bali trip. Perfect for brunch! I love their smoothie bowl, recommend the “Uluwatu” one. Not too sweet and so refreshing! Service is good and the atmosphere is great with strong fans so you won’t really feel hot.

4 star because They didn't have anything without egg on the menu! Didn't carter for alternative diets. Quite hot space upstairs. Service was fantastic and the space was nice. Smoothie was amazing. Coffee was great. Give it a go if you're in Seminyak Bali and need a coffe brunch. Also have great jewellery downstairs.

It's a little pricey for what you get, but it's really consistent and reliable for me - every time I visit south, I just want a comfy place to sit and meet my expectation for the food. Coffee is a bit on the weak side, I hope they can improve this. Staff always seem quick and professional with me.

Great brunch spot. Located upstairs overlooking a soccer field. The service is great. Menu is great. Food was fantastic specially the falafel pita and Rueben sandwich. Downstairs in the shop they have sensational pastries. Def worth a visit. High recommendation.

I love coming here for my favorite dishes and drinks. Whenever I visit Bali I eat here. I usually stay in Seminyak area. The chairs need a cushion over the hemp fiber seats. They are uncomfortable to sit on for more than 10 minutes. It’s no wonder there are not a lot of returns. Yes, ppl want to eat but they also want to sit and socialize with friends. Ppl will select other locations where the seats are comfortable.

It was the most amazing pastry I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is very beautiful and peaceful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I wish we could bring this flavor to Australia.
