I’ve driven past this toy store for years and finally had a reason to stop in to find a Valentine’s gift for my 2-year-old daughter. I’m so glad I did! The shop is beautifully curated with unique toys, creative gifts, and so many charming finds. They even carry Jellycat and offer gift wrapping, which was such a nice touch. The gentleman working there was incredibly helpful and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back!

A really awesome little, locally owned toy shop in one of the busier parts of Venice. There is a tiny parking lot on the side of the building, but there’s only room enough for one or two cars, so street parking will be your easiest option. The attendant behind the counter was very nice and they do have a good selection of toys. I would say the selection is a bit limited in terms of size, but we are still able to find some really good items and were especially happy to see that they had some JellyCat items that we did not have. I would suggest if you were in the area.

This was a delightful shopping experience and the final wrapping they did on the toys right then and there, the employees' artistic skill with the drawing, it can't be beat. Has both a personal and professional touch. Would totally shop again!

This store is awesome. Full of excellent toys for all kindsa kids. Tons of options. Good stuff too. I didn’t know a kids toy store could be as entertaining to an adult as this. AND they wrapped the gifts for me!

Highly Recommended! On my quest to support small businesses, I found this absolute gem! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile, warm greeting, and "let me know if I can help you find something." They have a great mix of classic and modern toys. Bonus points for having party favors, balloons, and books. MASSIVE bonus points for free gift wrapping. I will definitely be coming back for every future birthday and Christmas shopping needs for the kids in my life.

Cutest toy store on Westside. I needed a bday gift, the team was so nice and helpful and wrapped the gifts on the spot. The selection is great, def going back again!

I needed some hoola hoops in a hurry and they had several sizes to choose from. I'm so thankful for the local toy store that I can run to in a pinch! Hurray for Huzzah! Will definitely be going back!

If you're looking for cool gifts or ideas for party favors, this is the place to go! On busy Lincoln but was easy enough to grab a parking spot out front on an early afternoon. I wouldn't mind playing with a bunch of the cool science kits myself! Left with cool birthday party favors for 12-yr old boys. Would have been a bonus if they also sell small boxes or fun gift bags, although they offer regular red wrapping paper gift wrapping. Anyways I had to do a Target run afterwards anyways. Highly recommend!

Popped into Huzzah when I was visiting from the Bay Area last week for a last minute gift. I was impressed by the fantastic selection. Joe showed me around, gave great suggestions and then beautifully wrapped my gift. A wonderful experience! Thanks again Joe for all your help

Great place. When I walked in there were three employees behind the counter, and they immediately greeted me and asked how they could help. I needed advice on getting a gift for a 3 yr old and they were full of suggestions. There are previous reviews warning of inattentive teenager employees, but that problem seems to have been fixed. I'm glad I went and will go again.

This is the best toy store ever! I had a great selection, you can order online or shop in person. Joe is super helpful and really knowledgeable about his toys! I suggest ordering online and then picking up so you don't waste your time. Try he website is awesome, I really recommend this store especially because it's a local small business and with that, you get so much personalized service, check it out!!!

Excellent toy store with extremely helpful owner. He happily showed me which section of the store had suitable toys for a range of ages and personally gift wrapped each toy. He made a small mistake with one child's name, which I didn't mind, but insisted on rewrapping the gift and correcting the spelling - what a legend! The children absolutely loved their gifts. I'd 100% recommend this toy store and will be paying a second visit when I next return to LA. Thank you!

Bottomline: In the days of amazon.com, Huzzah! makes a great case for the importance of in-person mom-and-pop expertise in buying toys. STAFF: The employees are indispensable here more than willing to help you find the perfect toy for children of all ages. They are polite, patient, and full of great ideas. SELECTION: Despite limited space, the store's excellent curation of toys is neatly arranged without looking cluttered. The selection is amazing and really goes beyond the sterility of bygone Toys-R-Us offerings. Toys are classic and modern with neat imports to boot that will keep any kid interested. GIFTWRAP: All purchases are giftwrapped and personalized free of charge!

1st time I've ever been in and I was very happy with the results. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I found exactly what I needed/wanted and was in and out lickety split. I will definitely be back.

So many great toys and options. Not overwhelming when browsing because things are organized effectively. There was a girl there who checked us out and wrapped the gifts. Her name was Arielle. She was so nice and spoke to my sister and I about LA related things. When looking for an awesome gift for kids no matter the age, you'll find it here. I would definitely come back when in the area.

This place is amazing. I went for my first time today to get a gift for my 4 year old nephew. They have an amazing selection of toys for varied ages and interests. It's well organized too! The lady working at the front was friendly. They offer gift wrapping and I couldn't believe how cute it came out! Will definitely be back for all my nephew's needs :-)

No greeting when I walked in. No "May I help you?" while I was clearly looking for something. No "Thank you, have a great day!" as I walked out after a 200 dollar purchase. What I did get though, were stares as I walked in, to the tune of "oh they're not going to buy anything", and constant gawks as I walked around the store as if I was going to steal something. Next time, treat ALL your customers equally. I mean, I know Venice is gentrified, but we are all people. Less than 1 stars it would have been.

Hands down the best toy store ever! Came here to get some Christmas gifts for two kids who love tech, outer space and magic. This place is awesome! They have the most unique and cool toys ever. They have classic toys but also newer toys as well. The owners/ people who run it are awesome! The gift wrapped my gifts and created cute art on the wrapping. Will be my new go to spot for kids gifts.

Okay, so I was super brave and took my two little ones to my son's favorite toy store, Huzzah! I say brave because this store has everything. From board games to gag gifts to retro toys (including Gumby!). My kids picked out several toys which cost me way less than I would spend at a traditional toy store. And they have the cutest little shopping carts so your kids will feel like true shoppers. Quality toys at great prices is just what the mama ordered. If you stop in to pick up a gift for that special young one in your life, the courteous cashier will wrap it up, free of charge (so no need to stop by another store for wrapping paper or a gift bag). There is free one hour parking out front if you can nab a spot. Come early to avoid street traffic and to give yourself some time to browse their great selection of toys. Huzzah!

Located on a super busy stretch of Lincoln, it's really easy to pass by Huzzah's and never realize what a find it is! The owner is always here and greets you right away as soon as you walk in and asks if you need help. He'll leave you alone if you don't but will be readily available behind the counter. It's not a very big place so he's within earshot. Very knowledgeable about everything in the store he has good recommendations if you need it. As for the store it's chock full of wonderfully curated items for baby and kids and adults. Well the adults that still have the kids in them. Which is me! They have a great variety of items for every age and a ton of eco friendly and educational toys. And of course just a bunch of cute stuff. I've been finding some great items for my nieces and nephews and sometimes for myself. It's also pretty quiet so you'll have plenty of peace while trying not to buy everthing there. Prices are pretty affordable and you'll even find that some items are cheaper here than online! Whee! It's hard to find stores that can beat online prices. They have a website too in case you can't make it in. Make it a point to specially come here and give yourself time to browse. The shelves are filled to the brim with items to maximize the space. I'm definitely intending to come here often for all my toy needs.

Not sure the new help is working out. Seriously reconsidering returning here after being loyal customers since this place opened. Totally inappropriate music playing, "bitch" this, "shit" that, "shake that ass"...what the heck? Maybe I'm just getting old, or maybe there is a slight problem here?

This is my new favorite toy store! It's not huge, but it is a carefully curated selection of great toys. They're very friendly and helpful in finding the type of toy you're looking for too. Additionally they'll wrap your gift and put the recipient's name in a cool font and design on it.

The gentleman who helped me was so kind and knowledgable. He helped me pick out gifts for my friend's baby! The store is so cute and everything is so unique and amazing! I highly recommend this place and i'll be sure to go back to pick up goodies for my niece's birthday!

Awesome toy buying experience. Was there to buy my niece a 1 year old bday present. The shopkeeper walked me through all the different toys. Felt very informed and bought a couple of cool gifts. They were a big hit!

This place is fantastic! Owner couldn't be more friendly and helpful! Told him ages of kids I was looking to buy gifts for and he pointed out the perfect gifts right away! Really great selection of toys! Teenagers working the counter made me feel like I was in a small town and for Santa Monica that was pretty cool. Nice family owned and operated spot! Definitely will be buying all my kid gifts there! Oh and they gift wrap for free to boot!

What a perfect location for a toy store! Right off of Lincoln Blvd and what a beautiful, well stocked store too! Popped in when we got a last minute invite to a kids birthday party (don't you love those) and what a gem I've found. Store is much larger than it looks from the outside. Great toys of all price ranges and best of all, free gift wrapping! I was helped by a man that my receipt says is named Joe and he was helpful and friendly and I was in and out in 15 min. Awesome! Will definitely be back so I can take my time and look through all the amazing toys. PS not sure if they have private parking but there was plenty of street parking on Lincoln.

I have been coming to the store since they opened. I do find that the owner picks really cool, unique toys for the store as well as a vintage selection that you can't find in other stores. However their customer service lately is mediocre. There are young people working there and they aren't very friendly. When I was there this morning the store was a little busy and a little boy walked in without his parents and was asked to go back outside because of the stores capacity. I think that was irresponsible of the young person behind the counter. What they should have said was could you please go with your parent and let them know we have to wait because the store is full? It seems like they are just a bunch of teens bitching behind the counter while people are shopping. Customer service is basically 90% of your business. If your employees are bored teenagers, I respectfully would ask you to reconsider your hiring choices. I don't really look forward to going to huzzah for the last two times that I've been, I don't feel the magic of the store that I first did when I first started coming. What made it magical before was the owner. The Elvis lover. He was like a big kid with a lot of energy that made you excited to shop there. Bring him back.

What a great toy store and what a great staff. I needed to quickly find gifts for a seven month old boy, a five year old girl, and an eight year old boy. I told a salesperson my budget and a bit about the kids and voila, I was presented with a great array of options at a good price and with the coolest personalized gift wrap. This is not a large store but it seems to have what you need and the shopping experience seems to be a large improvement over my online experiences (and I am an avid online shopper). So I say "Huzzah" and "Hooray" for Huzzah. Go there and feel good.

My family loves this neighborhood toy store. With a 3 year old, we are constantly in search of unique & fun toys for our house and also to bring to birthday parties. This store has it all, along with the feel of those old neighborhood toy stores. The staff is always friendly, helpful and happy to have us come in for a quick purchase, or let hang out and get a break while the little one plays with the open toys. The personalized gift wrapping is also a huge bonus!

Huzzah! is so fun! This store is full of great toys. I shop here for every birthday party and their gift wrapping is spectacular. Even if you just need a new rubber chicken or a dashboard hula girl you should really check it out!

This is one of the greatest toy stores around. It's wonderful to have the store in our neighborhood. We literally come here to get all birthday presents for my sons friends. They gift wrap everything and I'm always able to find something in a reasonable price range.

They have toys for kids of all ages. Great selection of toys given the small space. We enjoyed taking our time checking out every corner of the store. The staff was friendly and wrapped our toys for us and even wrote their names on the outside in a fun design. If you're local definitely check out Huzzah!

They really know about their toys and have a great range. They're really helpful. It's not too expensive. And they wrap it and write the kids name on the wrapper in decorative writing. Awesome store. Highly recommended

A surprisingly broad selection of toys awaits in this seemingly small shop. My youngest was seeking a way to spend his birthday bucks, and came up with multiple options here. There are some really fantastic building toys, silly gag toys, as well as a good selection of Lego sets. We departed with the latter. Everything is well-organized and it's easy to find what you want. Service with a smile, and prices that are competitive. I'd return in an instant. Really great shop: Venice, I am jealous.
