Hotel Hvala

Nice clean room, neat hotel. At this price point I'd normally expect a little more, but they're the only hotel in town. The street-side can be quite loud until late, and there's no air conditioning so you'll likely want to have the windows open.

Topli Val has a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are highly professional, and the food is fresh, high-quality, and absolutely delicious. A truly fantastic dining experience! 10/10👏🏼

Extraordinary dining experience. Carpaccio and tuna tartare are to die for, as are the dumplins you can have as a dessert. Summer is a great time to visit so you can enjoy restaurant’s beautiful terrace. Service is top notch, if you want quality wine pairings Ziga will take great care of you.

I visit them at least 3-4 times per year and I have to say they are great. The hospitality, cleanliness and professional service from the Hvala family is amazing. I come for the food which is amazing each time, however I get surprised by everything else as well. Would recommend to anyone!

This family-run hotel in the small town of Kobarid is a great place to stay in this region of Slovenia. It has a very good restaurant and is close to so many activities. During out stay, I suffered an injury hiking which required medical attention. Before leaving for Lake Bled I received a medical bill which I had difficulty finding a way to pay for. The owners, without my request, found a way to resolve the problem. They spent their valuable time to assist me with the problem and resolved the issue totally. I will remain grateful for a memorable (for many reasons) stay.

I was traveling with my sister and sightseeing through Slovenia in February this year. To restaurant Hvala we stopped by to try the specialty of Kobatiske štrukle. We have heard of them and wanted to try for ourselves. To be honest I fell in love in this delicacy and will always remember the taste. To anyone passing by I would highly recommend to try Kobatiske štrukle. |On the day we visited it was just a few guests and the service was a few, however on top of the game.
