This place was easy to find and located in a very neat little corner of Iceland. They are small little cabins with all the amenities that your need. A microwave to cook your own food. Dishes available (Please wash when used) TV, good eating area and even a comfy couch to sit on. |The bed is small but easily fits 2 and just in case it doesn't, one can sleep on the top bunk. The bathroom was efficient with hot water and places to put toiletries. |Even with signs up saying not to drive on the grass, some people brought their cars right up to the door of their cabins. I guess that some people are just rude and can't help themselves. |It was easy to get into the cabin, a key and lock box are outside. |I didn't like the water here, so bring your own. Has a smell and taste. I'm sure it was safe to drink, but I was glad I brough a few liters of my own water.

5 star on the tiny house scale. The cottages are super cute. They are quite small, two adults and small kids comfortably but more than two adults, it's a squeeze. Very clean. Not much nearby for food so be prepared, carry your own or make reservations at the one restaurant way in advance.

Very nice quiet and comfortable cottage in the midst of nature. It was quite hot when we were there as there was no air-con. But overall stay was pleasant and nice, with a small kitchen that enables one to cook a full meal. But the toilet gets completely wet when showering as there is no floor partition from shower and sink.

We really enjoyed our cabin. It was clean and comfortable. It was especially nice to have a couch to relax in at the end of the day. I would highly recommend a stay here.

It's our first time to stay in a cottage, small but have everything you need, including a big sofa bed. We did not receive the check in code so we had to call with the phone number clearly listed. Outside was beautiful, birds chirping, flowers blooming.

What a view. We arrived in fog and the next morning it was sunshine. It really was an experience to wake up in this little hut. It was clean and the kitchen was equipped with the essentials. Here and there you could replace or renew something. But all in all we really liked it.

Overall a very lovely place to stay. The cottage itself is quite small but we expected that. When searching for places I put that there were 4 of us but then there was only space for 3 to sleep. It's possible I missed something and that the couch was able to pull out. We just had our small kids sleep together in the twin top bunk. The cottage is quite bright unfortunately even with the black out curtains. I have been travelling with two travel black out curtains that still didn't suffice to keep the light out. We loved that there is a soccer pitch across the road. We found two soccor balls that seemed free to use and we really enjoyed playing soccor as a family. It would be nice to have a clothesline somewhere on the property. I understand that doing laundry in our room would be discouraged but getting soaked is in the nature of a trip to Iceland (whether by rain or by hot spring) There was mold in the bathroom on the door, likely just due to the fact that the bathroom is very small and things get wet. I understand this but it should also be taken care of. It was self check in as were the majority of places we stayed in Iceland. We had no issues. The instructions sent by email were precise and easy to follow.

The nicest accommodation that we have had so far in Iceland. No northern lights but we didn’t mind at all as it was so lovely and comfy and secluded!
