Hvide Sande Camping

Budget friendly, good location and they speak English, German and Dutch which was quite convenient.

Greeeaaaat campsite !!! You are stuck between the sea and the fjord, how more unique can it be ?!?! A not even 5 min walk to the Westwind-surfspot, or cross the amazing dune landscape and you are at long-stretched beaches of the North-Sea... What else do you need ?! This is paradise... On the campsite always a good vibe, even when fully booked, stays cool and calm, nice and friendly atmosphere. And above all, very friendly staff, always willing to help, open to any kind of question, really super people, we just love them... For the rest, the camping is very well and nicely equiped, with many extra services, you will find everything to make you happy and feel comfortable : well organized spacious grass-pitches, good and safe electricity hookups, 2 places for campers to take water and dump grey water, one dump for chemical toilets, all very well equiped. Even a shower to rince yourself after the beach/surf, or material, and a seperate place to clean your freshly caught fish. big sanitary block, never have to cue, spacious showers, loads of private sinks,.... every day fresh many different types of bread in the small shop, which has quite an assortment of food, drinks and other stuff, and you can also get a fresh cup of coffee which you can enjoy in the comfortable couches in front of the shop rent-a-bike service with loads of bikes to choose from, layground area just in front of the campside with big bouncy pillow and other stuff and many more things.... just go there and discover, you won't regret

The 4. time i have stayed at Hvide Sande Camping, and everything is just perfect. A little bit worn out toilet/ shower- building, but everything is clean and tidy. Welcoming staff and fair prices. Definitely coming back!

The location is really awesome. In the middle of a 500 meter wide sand bank with the north sea on the west side and a lagoon on the east side. ||||The camping is located within walking distance from the center of Hvide Sande and has free wifi for guests.||||We were here kitesurfing in october. The weather was perfect and the only thing that could have made things easier would be if we were able to dry our wet suits somewhere other than the same room as we were sleeping in.

A small and simple place with a friendly owner. It is fantastic that there is no barrier or gate and therefore it is also possible to arrive outside opening hours. You can check in the next morning. The sanitary facilities are quite old and therefore it doesn't look very clean.

Two friends and myself booked into this campsite for two nights while on a biking tour. ||The first night it rained and our tents were completely flooded out. This was not a freakishly crazy rain or anything just normal rain. So be warned campers with tents, pitches are not maintained and the owner was no help with providing us with a dry alternative. We still had to pay full price despite getting only two hours of sleep fighting the flooded area. Do not expect customer service. Needless to say we did not stay the second night. Photos attached.

We had a not so great experience : Pro: -Nice location -Relatively close to a supermarket -Quiet -Separated (cold) surf shower -Free (but mostly slow) wifi Contra: -Very sandy -Nearly no privacy by plants or bushes -Unfriendly cleaning staff -If more than two people take a shower at the same time there is only a trickle coming from the shower (and the time you paid for goes on) -Scratched and unclean toilet seats Conclusion: For a relatively high price you get a place in a wobderful location between the sea and fiord, wich is great for beginner and advanced surfers; but with a whashhouse in really bad conditions and sandy, from everywhere viewable places.

Very helpful and friendly, clean sanitaries, laundry and campsite, good services as kettle and hotplats, large sites
