Hvoll Cottages

Really enjoyed the night we spent in the cottage! It was cozy and comfy, so quiet and peaceful, and we loved waking up on the farm to cows and sheep outside our windows. It was the perfect spot for northern lights viewing since it’s away from the city. We also did a horseback riding tour with them that leaves right from the farm and goes to black sand beach which was amazing!!! So fun and such a great experience. Loved our time here- highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay in Iceland! The cottage was absolutely wonderful—cozy, clean, and in the perfect location. Roosa, our guide, was exceptional. She was kind, knowledgeable, and made the horseback riding tours one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend the tours to anyone visiting!||We also had the incredible experience of getting married here, and the owner, along with Roosa and the Team, supported us every step of the way, making our special day even more perfect. Their hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable.||We can't wait to return!

Was about 20 minutes away from Vik. We were able to see the northern lights from the bedroom and the cottage was clean. We stayed for just one night and you get access to a private black sand beach. However, the beds were uncomfortable. As much as I loved the view, I would book elsewhere next time since we didn't get much rest for the night.

What a great spot! Quiet, a walk to the black sand beach. Lovely, welcoming hosts. Cottages were cozy with excellent cooking facilities. Highly recommend taking the horse tour down around the beach.

Very warm and nice stay. All clean, nice amenities, bathroom very small, shower very very small, but perfect for a short stay. Great service, breakfast available for a fee, right nextdoor at hotel Vik. Easy check in. A nice experience.

ammmmmazing private and cozy snow will be removed in the morning thanks to the tractor the dogs around are the cutest, always down to play. such a good company

Lovely cottage with efficient layout. Great ocean view from rooms. Gulls nesting in cliffs above cottage were amazing. Had a great stay there

Our visit was highlighted by poor maintenance. We had 3 out of 4 blinds that did not function, a very loose tap fitting in the kitchen, chair with back so loose it’s about to fall apart and an extremely uncomfortable bed. To make matters worse when we reported these issues to the owner she admitted to knowing the blind problems saying they were being replaced. My question is why would you put guests in this cabin when you know the problem exists. In addition there were open trenches at the back of the cabin and on one side the outside wall boards had been taken off and replaced by some sort of ply. Just looked cheap ,nasty and unfinished. This cabin was expensive and I ask again why you would put a paying guest into this cabin when there were others available.
