Hwa Hong Hotel

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, and it was clear the staff take great pride in maintaining cleanliness. The price was very affordable, especially considering the fantastic location—just a short walk from Kaohsiung Station. It’s perfect for anyone looking for easy access to transportation while staying in a central area with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend for both short and extended stays!

This hotel is small but hotel room is good size at a convenient location, just 5 minutes from Kaohsiung train station as well as long distance buses to other cities. The room is just right next to the elevator but very quiet. Sound proofing is good, at least we didn’t hear people next door were having shower or turning on/off the shower head or flushing toilet. There are lots of places for food nearby. Very comfortable.||||I decided to stay at the same hotel after a week when I decided to go back to Kaohsiung for a visit. The room for single person is comparatively huge. It is at the end of the hallway but I didn't encounter any spirits. However, the room is a bit noisy than the first one we stayed at. I could hear people of next door turning on/off the shower. Otherwise, I don't have any complaint. We asked for non-smoking room and this hotel is absolutely non-smoking!||||Price was super good with the quality. The only concern I would have is about safety. When taking shower, the whole bathroom will be wet and slippery. I already gave my suggestion to the hotel that they should put a bathroom mat. Hope they will take that. Will choose this hotel again if we go back to Kaohsiung.

Excellent location. 5 minutes walk to the railway station and Metro. Large, clean room, cleaned every day. A good signal wi-fi. The strong pressure of hot water. The hotel is comfortable, cozy and quiet. Our room was 606 and there was no noise at all.

My family (3 person) stayed 2 nights in quadruple room, room no. 602. Room was spacious and cleaned every day. Bathroom was big and completed with shampoo, soap, razor, toothbrush and toothpaste. |They provided free drinking water beside lobby area and bottled mineral water in room. Very fast free wifi in room.|Location near Kaohsiung Main Station (TRA and Metro), just 5 minutes walk.|Receptionist was nice and fluent in English.|This hotel doesn't provide breakfast, you can buy it in many convenient stores around.|We really enjoy our stay in Hwa Hong Hotel. Very recommended, definitely will stay at this hotel on our next trip to Kaohsiung.

Booked a double bed room for two nights, which sleeps four pax. A three or four-pax room comes to S$20/night - it's a steal. Typical hotel amenities like room slippers, soap, toothbrushes, shower caps, etc are provided as well. ||||However, there are few things that could have been better - when I first stepped into the lobby, which is undoubtedly nicely furnished, it was warm, stuffy and musty. The air-con didn't get fixed until I checked out on the third day. The smell also carried to the common corridor of room floor. ||||No effort was made to remove the peeling brown plastic layers on the room's light panel in between the beds. The ledges of our bed frames were dusty and there were specks of dirty that kept getting trapped in the corners of the bathroom. Housecleaning cleaned the rest of the bathroom and room though.||||For the price, I can't complain much though. But I'm not sure if I would stay here again.

This hotel just located near the Kaohsiung train hotel. Walking distance to the hotel was just 10 minutes. I chose this hotel because I had to take an early train to Tai tong next morning. I went there on Friday night, and about 10 minutes walking distance to night market. Restaurant, eatries, and shopping were just all over the places. Besides, bus stations also located nearby. Hotel room was big and basic. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and quiet too. I was able to sleep well, I will be back on my next trip.

We booked this hotel because of its convenient location. You get exactly what you pay for in this price range, it's not fancy but it's clean and they even provide basic amenities like flip-flop, toothbrush, comb, etc... Overall good experience, the staff is great and the bed is comfy.

Stayed 2 nights with my family at Hwa Hong hotel. The location I'd great, as it's just a quick 5 mins walk from the subway station. Lots of convenience stores, restaurants, shops within foot steps away. Service is good and the bed is comfy. Nicely decorated hotel theme as well. Highly recommend this hotel.
