I was very disappointed in the property on this occasion. I previously stayed at this hotel just a month ago when I was in town for my engagement party, and the experience then was stellar — this visit was quite the opposite.||||We booked using Hyatt points and were pleasantly surprised to be placed in the Premier Suite. While the suite itself was beautiful with excellent views, the condition of the room quickly overshadowed any excitement. The floors were visibly dirty with trash and debris throughout the suite, including underneath the couch (which could be seen from across the room). The dining table had a sticky residue and an unidentified substance on it. Even worse, the bathroom floors had a brown substance in the cracks that actually discolored towels placed on the floor. It was clear the room had not been properly swept, mopped, or inspected.||||We notified the front desk, and they assured us the room would be cleaned while we were out. After returning more than three hours later, we were disappointed to find the suite in nearly the same condition — none of the floor issues had been addressed. We went back to the front desk and requested a room change. We were moved from Room 701 (the Premier Suite) to Room 501, a smaller suite. Although the downgrade was significant, we accepted it given the late hour and the fact that it was at least clean.||||I do want to recognize and appreciate the front desk associate, Akunna, who was exceptionally apologetic, professional, and proactive. She mentioned she had recently relocated from South Africa for her role, and her kindness and effort made an unfortunate situation more bearable.||||However, the compensation offered did not feel appropriate for the inconvenience or the significant price difference between the two suites. We received a $50 food and beverage credit, yet the Premier Suite we originally had was over $300 more per night than the room we were moved to. For a Hyatt property — especially given my previous positive stay — this was incredibly disappointing.||||I hope management addresses the cleanliness issues and reevaluates how they handle situations like this, as the current experience falls far below Hyatt standards.
