Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami (Miami, Florida) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami stands not on Miami Beach but on the mainland, just to the south of downtown, facing Biscayne Bay — an ideal location for business travelers, but also a fine one for leisure, if urban destinations like Wynwood, the Design District, or Little Havana are what bring you to South Florida. Rooms are stylish and minimalist, visually focused and featuring just the right level of comfort — Centric is Hyatt’s youth-oriented, boutique-influenced sub-brand — and the Caña Restaurant and Lounge is a celebration of Cuban culture, serving Latin-inspired small plates with an emphasis on freshly caught seafood." - Tablet Hotels

We stayed at this hotel for a day stay! It was only for the morning and afternoon, we didnt stay overnight because we had a flight later that night. This was one of the best experiences for day stay at a hotel, for several hours. The service was awesome, the room was absolutely beautiful, and super clean. We had breakfast, and that was delicious even though they kind of forgot about us. We sat outside because it was nice outside, but we had to get up and almost leave for them to realize we had finished eating. Outside of that, the whole experience was super cool! We walked to some nearby places to find some lunch before we flew back home. If you want to stay overnight, I would definitely recommend this place. If you want to do a day stay, it's even better. The price was reasonable!

Spent three days at this fab hotel and the pictures do look just like the rooms. Stayed on the 16th floor and the room was clean, spacious, and beautiful balcony overlooking the water. 19th floor rooftop pool was gorgeous with another great view. Will certainly stay at this hotel again!

PABLO is the very best. Upon check in, I explained that I was in town to celebrate my birthday. Pablo asked me what my plans were and I explained that I just wanted to relax. Pablo took it from there, making sure that I was in the best room possible and I didn’t have to say anything else. Pablo is the definition of great customer service. Thank you for making my birthday weekend great!

First and foremost, we absolutely love this hotel. It was such a great one day stay. The customer service was great from the day prior when I called to make sure everything was okay. I lucked out and had the same front day clerk when I checked in. Aileen was incredible. She even recognized Women's appreciation day!!! The room was nice and spacious. The only thing that was suspect was breakfast the next morning. My sister went down to get a little breakfast for my daughter, and the potatoes, eggs, and bacon did not look fresh at all. We are unsure if it was sitting there for a long time or what. Needless to say, we did not eat breakfast there, but the stay was really nice.

Had request that required immediate attention, & Alina handled it with exceptional professionalism & grace. Her courteous demeanor, attentiveness, & swift resolution made the entire experience seamless & stress-free. Alina’s dedication to customer service is truly commendable, an absolute standout in every regard. The only aspect that fell short during this stay was the room cleanliness, which needed more thorough dusting and better attention to the showers. This was unexpected, as my previous visits consistently featured impeccably clean rooms.

The rooms are spacious and modern, offering amazing views. The service is great. We really enjoyed the rooftop pool with complimentary Sun Bum sunscreen, aloe and towel service.

Communicative and helpful staff. Housekeeping did their job well. Balcony offered city and ocean views. Pool was nice and warm. Not close to any beaches would be the down side, but it is walking distance to shopping areas and lots of restaurants.

Yelp
I booked a day room at the Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami through ResortPass and it was a great experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff was friendly and made me feel totally welcome--even as a day guest. The room was sleek, modern, and super comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the Brickell area and bay. I ordered room service from the onsite restaurant, Caña. I got the Caesar salad with avocado, bacon, grilled chicken, and a hard-boiled egg, and it hit the spot. I spent some time working in the room, then headed to the rooftop pool, which was beautiful and peaceful. I also checked out the gym, and it's way more equipped than I expected--clean, spacious, and stocked with everything from cardio machines to free weights. If you're looking for a relaxing daycation, work-from-hotel setup, or just a change of scenery, this spot is a hidden gem in Brickell. I'll 100% be back.

Yelp
This is my second time staying at Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami. The hotel is in the heart of Brickell! There are so many restaurants, bars, and health spas/studios around. Rooms are clean and have amazing views of the bay. My only complaint is that my shower didn't get as hot as I'd like. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Stayed here during the holidays. The check in and check out process was a breeze. The guy that helped with our luggage when we arrived was nice and even gave us tips on where to go and dine within the area. The location of this hotel was convenient and near a lot of dining places within walking distance. Our room had a nice view of the ocean. It's clean, albeit not too spacious and didn't include a bathtub. The disposable cups and other disposable toiletries were not refilled daily though. I had bed bug bites during our stay and emailed the hotel to inform them about it and they run a test of our room to check and it turned out negative. They were prompt and courteous with their responses. There's a restaurant in the hotel which was convenient if you need a quick bite. Lastly, the valet service was good.

Yelp
First off friendly service! I stayed on the 14th floor and had some amazing views. The hotel is relatively clean with some minor issues. Rooftop pool on the 19th floor it does get breezy and cool up there! Cana the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and I must say it was great! This hotel is located centrally to Downtown Miami! Upon check-in the nice front desk attendant gave me complimentary drink tickets and 20%off dining voucher at Cana!

Yelp
If you choose to stay here you must book a corner room not the other ones...it's the only way to enjoy the room and views of the water. Large room and very comfortable stay we would come back but ONLY for the corner rooms. The lady in the front (she is Russian) was so amazing giving her 5 stars for service.

Yelp
I think I've found my new favorite. Hyatt Centric was a great stay! The staff was amazing & accommodating. The hotel is beautifully decorated. My room was clean, spacious and airy. The bed was very comfortable and I LOVED my view. The only issue I experienced was a slow drainage in the bathroom sink. I informed the front desk team. I forgot my speaker and there was a JBL in my room to the rescue lol. Thank you so much Melissa ;) The location was very walkable as well. Near Biscayne Key walking trail. There is a mall that's about a 10 min walk away. Plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Had a 5 star experience here! It was clean, we had a great view of the water from our balcony, and all the staff was friendly. It felt safe and was located in a fairly quiet part of Brickell, but close and walkable to everything.

Yelp
This hotel was the perfect "Staycation" for our 24th Anniversary! We live in Broward but decided to go to Miami through the lens of a tourist. Bayside was the perfect choice. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The restaurant was beautiful and the food amazing. The pool was a treat. The location great. Our view of the Bay from the 18th floor was to die for!!

Yelp
Had a great stay at the Hyatt Centric Brickell. I liked the location of the hotel especially since La Mar restaurant (this is a must) was a short walk away. There are several shopping malls/centers within walking distance with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The outdoor pool wasn't crowded during our stay, and I have to say the water was so warm - maybe a little too warm. I do like cold water on really hot days. They have a bar/stand where you can order food/drinks. They should probably have a second person to help the bartender as the wait for food was long. Our room was clean and modern with a nice balcony with great views of the bay. You do have to request housekeeping service and our body wash and conditioner was empty and was never refilled. As a Hyatt Explorist/Globalist, you do receive two welcome drinks which you can use at their bar on the 2nd floor. We did enjoy our Rum Old Fashioned and Mojitos. Bartenders was really nice and made some great drinks.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel in Downtown Miami and this looks like a pretty new modern hotel. The employees were pretty nice and friendly here. We had breakfast comps so each day we got to order something during breakfast. The rooms were pretty large and the beds were comfortable. The rooftop pool has a pretty alright view but the pool itself looked a little boring. Also, each time we came up here there are no towels at all. What was the craziest thing was that every day the elevators were broken. There are three elevators and sometimes two elevators were not working. On the last day of our stay, none of the elevators were working. Overall I have to say it was an experience but of course, new hotels will start to have some issues along the way.

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel with super nice water views. The best part is the huge rooftop pool shared with the Panorama (biggest building in Miami). The area is super walkable. You have Downtown Brickell as well as Brickell Key & Brickell City Centre in walking distance. They have amazing drinks at the 2nd floor restaurant and there's also a bar conveniently located by the rooftop pool. Valley is very quick - I would pick that option as the street parking is scarce.

Yelp
This is one of the hotels where Disney Cruises has the option for ground transportation to be picked up. It's such short drive to the port, but you primarily get this to be in the earlier boarding groups. Now, going back to the hotel. Great location (although it would be nice to see the port with the ships), and Brickell is so clean and newish downtown area. The Brickell mall (can't remember the name - with Saks and lots of restaurants is a 8-10 minute walk). So many restaurants within 5 minutes. The room was quite spacious (bed was so comfortable) and it was great that these rooms have balconies to admire the views. They have a mini refrig too. Really liked the big bathroom with awesome shower, but two knocks, not enough towel hooks and no line to hang wet bathing suits. Fast wifi too. We spent the entire afternoon at the rooftop pool. Was for sure the highlight. It was large and heated and even had a separate hot tub. Had no problem finding lounge chairs. They even have a small bar to order drinks and order food. I got the cubano sandwich and mojito and caipirinha and was very hearty and filling and cake with a boatload of fries). Only wish they can pump some music! Went to Cana their hotel restaurant (see separate review) for breakfast. Good hotel option and pre and post cruise stay!

Yelp
Had such a nice stay here! I stayed here for a quick work trip and I'm so happy I did. There are a lot of hotel options in the area, but I loved my stay here. Rooms were exactly as pictured - clean, roomy, and modern. Nice little balcony area as well. The shower was HUGE and featured some pretty good products, which I was very happy about since I didn't bring my own shampoo or conditioner :) The rooftop area was gorgeous. I missed the happy hour (which lasts until 6pm) but wish I could have made it. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and kindly remembered all of my scheduled wake up calls. Much appreciated! The location was PERFECT - there's a small cafe/deli close by, and the hotel itself is super close to the water. I was steps away from a ton of great restaurants as well as my office. All in all, a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again when in Brickell.

Yelp
Disappointing experience for the reviews and price point. We were woken up at two in the morning with a loud party yelling in the hallway. They were there roughly an hour. The breakfast/room service at cana is lacking at best: over priced and very small portions The quality of the room is shabby at best, with small touches added in an attempt to make it look classy.

Yelp
The location of this hotel is everything. Very central in brickell with a bay view but walking distance to everything. I did have a hard time finding it as the Uber dropped me at panorama building and their sign is rather small. The suite was large and practical. Balcony was great. Biggest issue is no water pressure - it's so bad it also takes 5min before any warm water comes out. The best part is the pool and jacuzzi with stunning views. They got valet and bell service. Prices are all over. First night it was $225 second it was over $500.....

Yelp
Super noisey. I had to call the front desk several times. Bathroom is super nasty as you can see. They gave me my deposit back at least. Would I pay the ridiculous amount ofmoney to stay again? NO WAY in HELL!!!!

Yelp
This hotel was amazing. We were going on a cruise and from the time we checked in, nothing but excellent service. The hotel let us check in EXTRA early and let us leave late so we would not have to wait around to catch the ship. We were celebrating our birthday and got complimentary drinks and met the most amazing bartender, pictured. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. We got up and ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant and was serviced by our amazing bartender again. The restaurant, Cana, has an amazing breakfast menu and the food, and service, was so good. I have zero complaints about this hotel. If you come to this hotel, go to Cana and ask for Felipe. I highly recommend this hotel if you ever come to Miami.

Yelp
Disney Cruisers! If you are flying in to get on a Disney Cruise, this hotel is good for you! They have bus transportation add-on available when you book the cruise. When you arrive to the hotel, there is a Disney kiosk table set up in the lobby for people to check in. On the morning of your sail date, you can bring your luggage to the lobby and hand it over to the Disney staff and they will take care of your luggage to make sure it gets to your stateroom. The location of this Hotel is a couple miles from the port, center of Miami and many things to do and explore. Hotel check in was a breeze and quick. The staff were all friendly and helpful since we ask recommendations and things to do for the night. Rooms were spacious and modern, it was clean and well lit. One of my favorite thing is the floor is not made of carpet. We got a balcony which was nice. Was very happy with the stay. The price point is a fair and I think it was ok. Would consider booking here if visiting Miami again.

Yelp
If you are a wheelchair, user requiring an ADA room with a role in shower do not stay here they cannot accommodate you. The beds are extremely high, the bathroom door does not open wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, the rolling shower does not have a transfer bench. They have a wooden bench that's outside of the shower that they expect for you to put in the shower. The entire bathroom has only one proper grab bar, which is in the shower. The rest of them in the shower and around the toilet are actually towel racks. This is extremely disappointing for a newer hotel as a globalist. I am very familiar with the Hyatt brand and I've never really had these types of problems. I stayed there for six hours trying to find different accommodations for myself and my family after a cruise. We were planning to stay for four additional days for my son's birthday. However, what I will say is the customer service was excellent. It was the property that was the problem.

Yelp
Wow! All I can say is this place is amazing. Pablo helped me and his hospitality is amazing and I'll definitely be back here! I live in Hawaii, taking a vacation here. I stated at Marriott Biscayne bay. I hated it they were so rude there. The lobby isn't the best here but they obviously had the customers in mind and decided to make the rooms nice instead of that. At the Marriott the lobby was nice but the rooms were basic I was in the in a suite with view.i was pleasantly surprised here and so happy I switched!!! The people at the Marriott were rude also. I always stay at Marriott and I probably will stop now.

Yelp
Overall it's a very nice and clean hotel. The prices aren't too bad considering it's in Brickell. What I do not like about this hotel, specifically is it's room service procedures. Room service if that's what you wanna call it, is handled by a third-party restaurant on the first floor, named Cana. It is a Cuban restaurant that serves mediocre Cuban food. You are allowed to charge it to your room if that makes a difference. We ordered about $150 worth of dinner, which is typical for a hotel room service. We ordered steak, salads, desserts, ice tea, and bottled water. Everything was brought in a grocery bag like we had ordered it from Uber eats, even though it only came up from the first floor. The quality of the food was horrible as well as the taste. But that's another review I get to leave for that restaurant. If you want room service after 9 o'clock you're pretty much on your own. There is a 7-Eleven down the street. But for what's offered in this hotel you can go ahead and chop that up to zero. We are only staying in this hotel out of necessity and not desire. It is a located close to the building we live in. Unfortunately, our building had some maintenance issues with the water in the AC. Otherwise we would not be staying here.

Yelp
This hotel is in a great Downtown Brickell location. Unfortunately it's very dated and worn around the edges and it shows. The rooms floor tiles felt and sounded like it was laid on top of carpet and was extremely sticky. The furniture was frayed and the rooms fixtures were ill fitting. The staff was generally friendly except housekeeping who quickly explained that she "doesn't speak the English" when I asked her if she could address the sticky floor. There were lots of mechanical noises inside and out coupled with extremely noisy neighbors to the side with screaming kids until 11pm and guests above stomping around until to roughly the same time. This made it hard to sleep, especially with an early start the following morning. The elevators made such loud screeching noises that I questioned whether it was safe to use them or not. The prices were very competitive for the area, now I know why...

Yelp
Great location and supersized rooms that are nicely decorated. My room was showing a bit of wear and tear but nothing too noticeable

Yelp
Just checked in and already a one-star experience. Despite have a Hyatt rewards account that clearly states my room preferences, I was not given a king bed at checkin, which I had also messaged a week earlier to confirm. I also need a feather-free room, as indicated in my profile, so am now waiting for someone to come change out all the bedding on the two double beds before I break out in hives and my throat starts to close up. (Hyatt Regency Sacramento got this right two weeks ago without any prompting by me. I don't understand why some properties just ignore important requests.) And for this hotel to be new enough that it had only 30-some reviews at the moment, it sure looks like it has had a hard life. The floor is super cheap with many of the pressed cardboard(?) planks chipped on the edges and some of them with gaps on either end so they slide around (see photo). And everything else is scuffed and scratched to match. Here on business with no choice on hotel. Next time I'm in Miami, I definitely won't be here.

Yelp
I'm sitting in the lobby. It's been about 10 minutes. Waiting to check in. Worker started to check me in, left, came back and asked how they could help me. Then they left again. I would like to get to my room. Room is nice. Clean and the decor is refreshing. The wood floor is a bit loose. The individual boards slide around. I keep finding things. Missing shower head.

Yelp
We came to town for a 30th Birthday and Miami/Buffalo Game. The hotel was beautiful, clean and centrally located. The desk personnel especially Noel could not have been more pleasurable. Our 9th Floor balcony added some beautiful views and sunrise. The Cana Restaurant was a great stop for early morning coffee, breakfast or afternoon Cocktails. We welcome an opportunity to return in the future. Enjoy!

Yelp
Caña - The Cuban Flare Restaurant on the second floor of The Hyatt Centric Brickell is EXTRAORDINARY. From the ease of the valet (if you know how stressful Brickell can be, you know how great this is) to the delectable Dessert - this meal was Perf. My Wife and I haven't been out to many places because of Covid so I was a little nervous but prepared. I brought wipes and sanitizer in case. It wasn't needed. They were so cautious and thorough with their cleaning practices. On our way to our table they cleaned the area once again and there were little disinfectant sprays in each table. All the staff wore gloves and masks and I saw them constantly changing their PPE while serving patrons. I felt safe. The inside seating was plush and comfy but it was a beautiful cool night so we had to sit outside to take in the Nice views of Brickell. Lets get to the FOOD AND THE SERVICE!! Ubbi was our waitess. Knowledgeable, Fun, and Attentive. I loved her recommendations on appetizers. Delish! We started with a few Apps: The Chicharones De Viento ** Air Fried Pork Rinds. Lightly seasoned. No grease. Light as Air. Yum. The Camarones Al Ajillo - Que Rico! Plump Big Shrimp. Its a must! Such a pretty presentation. The Toston de Ceviche was pleasing for all senses. The Ceviche was so fresh. Our entrees were perfect pairings to the Apps. I had the Pescado a la Plancha. The Red Snapper was Amazing. The Crispy Skin was superb. My Wife had the Vaca Frita. She didn't share because it was so good. Delicate but so flavorful according to the Mrs. We shared the Mango-Guava Cheesecake which was the perfect ending to a delectable and palatable meal. Olivia the manager, hosted the evening impeccably. Dancing between tables flawlessly making everyone feel like they had been there a hundred times. I loved that. I can't wait to return to Caña.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! I did not know what to expect since I had not stayed at a Centric. I was impressed all around. Check In was seamless. The front desk was attentive. The hotel was A++ when it came to being clean, offering hand sanitizer (in every elevator), front lobby, restaurant entrance. They even had a vending machine in the lobby that offered masks, gloves, sanitizer, etc. Valet was spot on. Quick and convenient. The attendants wore masks and some even wore gloves so I felt safe. Location is close enough, yet far away. It is a quick Uber / drive to anything, yet with it being off the main road, it seemed quiet. The walk way along the water is perfect for any time of day. Also perfect if you are trying to avoid the crowds. Rooms were extremely clean and offered what was needed to make our stay comfortable. The bathrooms are large and the showers are perfect! Restaurant was nice. Tried to go for breakfast but the hotel is host for pilots and flight attendants so it was fairly busy. We did have lunch one day. Great meal and service. The variety of seating is nice. Outside lounge was so relaxing. The restaurant did close at 8pm which I found somewhat early but most places in the downtown area closed at that time.

Yelp
I walked into the Hyatt on a Saturday night needing a room last minute. Kenny at reception was so helpful and kind and was able to set me up with a room. When I needed to extend my stay again Kenny was able to assist me. The room was nice, modern and clean with a great shower. They also supplied a fantastic hair dryer in the room and not those mini dryers or less powerful ones which I typically see in hotel rooms. Since I have course and thick hair I need a powerful hair dryer so it was definitely a pleasant surprise. Overall it was a great hotel, walkable to restaurants and shopping, and with a fantastic staff.

Yelp
Probably the most efficient hotel in the area. We came on the same day and ask if any rooms were available for check in. We were eligible for upgrades with no prior reservation. We stayed in room 1809 on the 18th floor. Room was extremely clean and spacious. The view was great as well; you can see the open water, cruise port and the surrounding city. We highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay again for our future trips to Miami.

Yelp
Disappointed because I was told my room was prepared and that I could check in early. "I get there, ready to relax, but they said sorry, we had a room ready for you but it was given to someone else." Wait, WHAT??? So this place is easy to pass not realizing that this was the place I and then my friend missed the sign the first time. Also, the drive up area is tiny, like one lane. It was hard enough getting there then trying to wait in my car for a room became a pain because of the very small drive up space. We get to the room there's a mini fridge full of drinks and a extremely overpriced mini bar with snacks. No microwave and no where for me to refrigerate my own food and drink. I didn't know that those were not standard especially in a hotel that is priced 3 times as much as most. I would recommend Marriott over this place.

Yelp
In the heart of Brickell Ave, 10 minutes walking from Mary Ave. and mall. My room was just like on the main photo of the location, super clean, morderam decoration, super comfy beds. The bathroom was BEAUTIFUL! Staff supper friendly, nice restaurant, perfect location. Totally recommended.

Yelp
This place was astonishing! Let me start there. I've always go to Hyatt's because they make the experience of being there feel like home the staff are always friendly and always there to help. This hotel was close to the water with a wonderful view. Upon my arrival they make you spin a wheel to get something free whether it was an extra night or a free drink at the bar I spun on the free complimentary drink at the bar and I got a moscow mule it was so refreshing. The complimentary breakfast was also great like it was as though I was at a restaurant and the food was made to order and that was a plus knowing I was getting fresh food. The hotel room was beautiful everything I was looking for on my trip to the balcony to the bathroom mirror. This place definitely met all my needs and if I ever come back I will choose this place again. Thank you Hyatt family!

Yelp
Beautiful Views Great Hospitality. A Valet at your service. What more can you ask for? While in Miami stayed Downtown at the Hyatt Centric Brickell. Super great choice with a lavish vibe. Hotels Amazing staff was friendly and on point. Rooms were phenomenal luxury style apartment feel. 19th floor rooftop pool was fabulous and made the stay that much more enjoyable. I highly recommend when in Miami and rate 5 Stars for the all around stay!

Yelp
Very few places give you the treatment and accommodation the staff offers. Caña is this fusion of flavors, drinks, music and cigars an exile Cuban values. I spent my birthday weekend there with Family and friends and we felt at home. Thank you!!

Car M.

Yelp
Booked a room for 2 nights so I could check in early on the second day. With a note from the travel agent. Predictably, they gave my room away on night 1 and then couldn't find a room to check me in. Hotels now make the Airlines look good. Hotel brands have become so lazy post Covid. And hotel owners have become so greedy. Understaffed and routinely can't turn rooms over fast enough. No wonder people are voting with their feet and using Airbnb.
google avatar

Ju L.

Yelp
We stayed at Hyatt Centric Brickell while we were in Miami for 3 nights, and had a pleasant stay. It was a busy weekend and the hotel was completely booked, but the front desk still managed to have our room ready for us before check in time, which was great. Our room was nice and clean, and had a pretty large TV in it! The room also came with a eco friendly fridge which looked cool but barely cooled anything in it. As for the other amenities, there is a restaurant on the second floor but we didn't eat anything there, since where the hotel is located, you are within walking distance to many good restaurants. There is also a gym onsite that we didn't check out, and a pretty cool rooftop pool. Like most hotel pools, the pool wasn't very deep, but there is lots of space up there to just lay out on the chairs and get some sun.

Yelp
I have travelled on business for 20+ years and have NEVER experienced what happened at this hotel. There was a family with kids staying next to my room. I called downstairs at 12 midnight as the kids were banging on the wall; playing noisy computer games the mom and the dad screaming. At 1am after calling numerous times they moved me from my room because they said that they could not 'evict' the family with kids next to my room. I paid $450 dollars for the worst experience at a hotel in my entire career The hotel's management reached out a couple of days later and credited a significant portion of my stay and apologized for the way the situation was handled!

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. My fiancé and I got a room for 2 nights before cruising , and loved this location. This location had a rooftop pool and bar area that we didn't get to try but it looked amazing. The restaurant was also very nice. We had a nice, large shower, and a very clean room with a good sized balcony. All of the staff were friendly and attentive to helping us, from check in and upgrading our room, to storing our luggage a few hours after check out. We were walking distance to shopping , restaurants, and convenience stores. We were only a short $10 Lyft ride to south beach. I highly recommend staying here.

Yelp
Beautifully designed rooms! They thought of everything! We stayed here while our apartment at Panorama Tower was getting ready, and this place fell nothing short of perfect. I spoke with Arvalo from Sales bc as a tenant of Panorama Towers they offer a different rate that really helped us in a pinch. This is one of very few hotels that is dog friendly. This place thought of everything from organic soaps In the bathrooms to a can of soda and mini fridge in the kitchen areas. The big screen TV is on when you walk through the door with your name on it before you arrive. That's pretty amazing. I also forgot my "points #" and before i could give to them the system found it and added it before i had to say anything. Now that's world class service! Parking is $40 which is a bit steep but that's almost anywhere here in Miami. The Caña restaurant is a great touch and totally accessible allowing for in room occupy and not leaving to far. Again overall between Arvalo and the other front desk staff and others this stay so far has been 5 stars royalty and it'll be hard to leave once our stuff arrives for our actual apt! I strongly recommend this location! It's a really excellent spot with lots of walkable options for eats, drinks, and the staff is the best I've ever seen! Completely changes my persona of what Hyatt hotels are! Thank you!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel downtown Miami. Our view from our room was amazing. My grandson fell in love with the rooftop pool. The staff was amazing. Would love to have a microwave in room instead of on another floor in hallway.

Yelp
Got a last minute reservation when I got off the plane. Was able to book instantly and promptly. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooftop pool and hot tub were great amenities along with the restaurant on the second floor and room service! Very nice views of downtown Brickell and the bay. Was able to extend my stay for a few more days no problem and also free late check out. Will definitely stay here again!

Yelp
I HATE this hotel. I checked in about a week ago, and from the very beginning my TV has not been working well. I called once and the engineer came and when I got back to my room the TV was not yet fixed, I called again and was told I needed to be in the room when the engineer was there, so the next day the engineer came and he could not fix the TV. He reset the box and then tried to explain how getting a new one would take a while and so on, at this point I asked him to tell the front desk this so I could get a room change. He said he would do it and ask them to change my room. A day later I had not heard back from them so when I got back to my hotel that night I asked for the room change, I was told that it was not possible that night but that the next day someone would call me when my new room was ready I told them I would be gone till 7 or 8 pm and they said no problem just come to the desk when you get back. I said thank you and went back to my room for the night, the next morning I was woken up by someone asking if the engineer could come to my room, I said yes. They came by when I was already gone, when I got back to the hotel around 7:30pm I went to the desk and asked about the room change. The person behind the desk (without even looking at her computer) told me there were no available rooms and the hotel was at capacity. I told her I was told the night before that I would get a new room today, she said "I don't know what to tell you. We are at 100% capacity we cannot change you today, we'll change you tomorrow". I asked her if she was sure I would be changed the next day because by now this has been going on for a couple days. The other person came over and asked me what was wrong. I told them I had requested a room change because the TV is not working and he asked me to specify what I meant, I told him the engineer has been in my room 3 times, I have called about this 3 other times and no one can fix it. He told me that I could get a room change if I wanted to DOWNGRADE (in a fully booked hotel?) no apology for THEIR broken TV, no apology because THEY screwed up, just attitude. I said no to the downgrade. At this point I am annoyed, I have received only attitude from them, no apology, no room change just excuses. I was then told I could be changed to a 3rd floor room the following day, no view (building in front), lots of noise (I can hear the street from my current room and I am much higher) I am currently in a higher floor, even he knew that the 3rd floor was a bad one and when he suggested it he was not expecting me to take it. Apparently Hyatts policy is to lie. The first lie: when I was told by the engineer that he would let the front desk know to change my room the second lie: when I was told a new room would be ready for me the next day the third lie: when I was told the hotel was fully booked and the fourth lie: when I was told there were rooms available if I wanted to downgrade my room. I have been given the runaround so much in the last couple days that I feel like my head is spinning. Was never even offered a discount, breakfast, pastry or anything for my trouble and their incompetence. Stay AWAY from this hotel! P.S. this review is going to be sent to as MANY people in as many platforms as I can. I want everyone to know that this hotel does not care about it's guests or their comfort.

Yelp
No microwave in room, floor were not nailed down and they were moving around and coming apart. No pen or paper, handprints on all the closet doors (you would think heightened cleaning due to COVID), never gave us more toiletries over 4 night stay, no cups for coffee maker, dining room service was slow and unreliable. Pool had a sign saying to text for food orders, we were ignored. Pool area need upkeep. Don't recommend for the price.

Yelp
Management worked out the issue with the breakfast overcharge, so updating to 4 of 5 stars and not 2 of 5. They seemed to care about wanting to do the right thing.

Yelp
Rooms are stylish and well appointed. Two queen beds rather than two doubles as at the JW Marriott around the corner. Location is nice if you are looking for an urban rather than a beach vibe. Robes. In room safe. Large shower. Drybar hairdryer (ladies you know about the struggle with bad hotel hairdryers). Drawbacks: 1. Internet service is horrible. I needed to do work and was stuck with very inconsistent internet . Would constantly say "connected, no internet." This was bad enough that I would not stay here again just because of this. 2. Restaurant is not large enough to accommodate all the hotel guests. We stayed on a holiday week so I suspect it was much busier than their usual but they need a contingency plan for this. A 45 minute wait for breakfast at your own hotel is not okay. We ended up walking to a small cafe around the block.

Yelp
Nice balcony . Although a lot of the sun near the pool is blocked. Very clean and central to a lot of restaurants and easy check in. Room is a little small though

Yelp
Great service from upon entrance in the lobby. We went to the bar/restaurant on the second floor and the manager Juan really took care of us- super polite and hospitable. He gave us great recommendations, from the guava Moscow Mule to the octopus (one of the best I've ever had). Since the pool wasn't open yet, he made accommodations for us at another rooftop pool in south beach. Going out of his way to make our quick stay in Miami as enjoyable as possible. Our server Caitlin was great as well, extremely attentive and sweet. All in all, would highly recommend! One of the best restaurant/bar experiences I've had in Miami. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back

Yelp
I stayed here for just a night for my birthday and it was amazing! As a world of Hyatt member I requested an early check in for 1pm and they had the room ready at 9am with a room upgrade! We stayed in the King Junior Suite and it was just like the pictures! There was a great balcony that we sat on and looked out at the city at night. The sheets felt like we were the first ones to on them and everyone working there was extremely friendly. They even sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne as a birthday gift after I noted it on my reservation! The pool area was nice and the hot tub was great. The area is also super central to a lot of great restaurants in Brickell. The perfect staycation! Also if you use the Hyatt app you can check in and out all through your phone. The experience was paperless and my keycard was on my phone! The only thing was that our room was right by the elevator and kept sounding like the door was being opened. Other than that it was the perfect stay!
