Hyatt Centric Cambridge

Excellent service and a very comfortable Executive room for my wife and I and our daughter. We were attending a party just for the night so didn't get to fully enjoy the facilities. Comfy bed, quiet room and the shower was excellent. The staff were very helpful and the location was convenient. We were able to park in the underground carpark which was £20 for 24 hrs.

Stayed for a night while on business in the area as this hotel is close to M11 and without the traffic and parking issues that you get closer to the city centre. ||The hotel sets out to be trendy but personally I’m not a fan of the bare concrete walls in the lift areas or the beach hut blue colour scheme which seems out of place in a clearly modern building. A white Scandinavian theme would be so much better. ||Check- in was rather slow with only one receptionist on duty. ||The rooms are reasonably spacious, clean, and bed was very comfortable. Bottled water in the fridge was a nice touch but there was a problem when i boiled the kettle to make a cup of tea - no milk of any description. No milk capsules, no dried milk, nada! ||I ate in the attached Star Man restaurant which was nice enough and reasonably priced although had a somewhat limited menu. Service was friendly and attentive. ||So not a bad place to stay but not exceptional either. Perhaps the person who serviced my room had an off-day or was high on something but housekeeping needs to sort the milk issue out.

Awesome! Lovely trendy hotel, gorgeous decor and massive rooms! I had a long trip and the reception staff member was AMAZING (didnt catch name, blonde lady and new apparently!) as well as the restaurant staff. I had such a nice burger (double patty smash) and the staff were so attentive and really welcoming. Thank you all, will definitely be back.

Amazing hotel with great facilities in the heart of cambridge. lots to do around the area. Room was a great size and amentities were perfect. Staff and hotel lobby area very well kept. Staff are great and always willing to help. Highly recommend this hotel. dont listen to all the negative reviews!

Honest review: its ok. i mean very modern hotel, location is terrible though and eddington feels like a ghost town full of soulless new builds nobody lives in! Rooms are small. but average. not soujdproof windows you can hear whats going on outside pretty quickly

I stayed here in December for one night on business. The staff are very friendly and the place is sleek, modern and very clean. My room was blue incredibly spacious, stylish and the bed was so comfortable. It was quiet and well insulated from noise and the cold! The rooms come with basic tea, coffee and a little fridge if you need to store anything. The downside was that the breakfast was very unhealthy so I didn’t end up getting anything and there aren’t much options nearby apart from a cute little coffee shop and a Sainsbury’s. It costs £20 to pay on the day and they provide pancakes, a full English, cereal and fruit in a buffet style so not great if you have diabetes! It would be nice if there were more salads and whole foods available for more health conscious visitors.

Lovely room great location to walk into Cambridge. Breakfast lovely and the service in the restaurant was friendly and kind and the food in the evening was great. What lets this hotel down is the poor service on reception. We had paid to make a change to our booking prior to our visit … as they couldn’t find this on their own system we were wrong and they were right - we hadn’t paid and needed to pay more there and then - we were told to ‘go and find our booking as they had no record ‘ this happened when we arrived and again when we checked out. When both staff members actually looked into their booking system they found the payment and adjustment we had requested….rude aggressive front of house staff whose attitude was very much ‘computer says no’ a real let down in what could have been a superb hotel …

Whilst a bit far out for Central Cambridge, a great location for the outlying university departments. Hotel is clean, comfortable, and good value. Just as a tip, the U bus from the train station is very slow!
