We stayed in this hotel for a few nights while in the city, and it was a wonderful choice. It's not far from the airport and it's located in a very safe and walkable part of the city. If you're looking for the historical sites then you'll need to take a cab, but that's also not that far from the hotel. Good bars, restaurants and clubs are all within a few blocks from there.|Our room was big and comfortable, with a nice view of the city. Everything just like new and working well. The breakfast is really good and plentiful, and you can order eggs any way you like without having to wait for them to be done. Good choices for bread as well.|Finally, the rooftop bar and pool were very distinctive amenities for us. You get fantastic views of the city and a beautiful place to chill. That said, it can get pretty windy and cold up there in the pool! It's still a fun time, though!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay at the Hyatt Centric in Guatemala City. From start to finish, everything about my experience was impeccable. The service is truly top-notch—every single staff member, from the management team to the restaurant workers to the doorman, exudes warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality. I've never encountered such an exceptional level of care and attentiveness at a hotel before. The rooms were sparkling clean, and every facility was maintained to the highest hygiene standards. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, and it made for a truly luxurious experience. The location is perfect—adjacent to a mall, offering convenience and accessibility to shopping and dining options. The hotel also features a stunning rooftop pool, which was an absolute highlight. We were fortunate to watch fireworks from the rooftop on New Year’s Eve, and it was simply incredible. I wholeheartedly recommend the Hyatt Centric in Guatemala City to anyone planning a visit. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure an unforgettable stay. I will certainly be back!

My husband and I stayed here for one night before flying back home after spending a week traveling all over Guatemala. Check in was at 3 and we arrived around 4. We didn’t have to wait in line due to status. However, our room wasn’t ready yet. We were offered a complimentary round of drinks at the rooftop bar. The rooftop is really cute with different seating options, including tables and high tops. Before we were done with our drinks, I received an alert that our room was ready.|| The room was fine and had what we needed- bed, clean bathroom with toiletries, bottled water, and a coffeemaker. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well.|| The location is good, we felt safe. There’s a convenience store across the street. There’s also a fancy mall next door and a variety of restaurants within a short walk. During our stay, I used the hotel gym which had a good amount of machines. There was also water and some snacks.|| We had a small issue with getting ice. There was no machine on our floor. We called down to the front desk and they said we could go up to the next floor. However, we could not access these other floors bc you have to scan your room key on the elevator. So we called and asked for ice and no one brought it up. My husband had to go downstairs to the lobby bar to get ice. Not a big deal.|| Overall our stay was fine and also convenient to the airport.

Very clean, and the staff was very helpful all the time. I love fruits so I enjoyed the variety of fruits for breakfast. The rooftop is beautiful at night. In general the hotel has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Recommended for sure.

The staff is very helpful and friendly, it's very centrally located and has good facilities. It has a really cool pool on the roof overlooking the city and it is warm even when the outside is cold. The restaurant there is really good as well, and it's close to lots of restaurants and other fun things to do.

Great staff and property. I have seen smiling and accommodating faces at every turn. Modern decor, yet artifacts in the lobby convey the local culture. I think this is one of the best places I have stayed in a VERY long time, and I am a 150+ night a year traveler. Close and convenient to the airport as well!

Room 1219 Deluxe King - very spacious. Huge TV might be the same width as a queen size bed wow! Nice sized sofa, coffee table, chair and foot rest, desk is really long plenty of space and a desk chair. Handy bench in front of the bed for luggage. 2 nightstands. AC works great and is very quiet.||Love the auto baseboard lighting near the bed and in the bathroom- no need for a nightlight- this should be standard in all hotels. ||Closet on the small side with 2 drawers that are the size of a nightstand. Safe, mini-frig, coffee maker, and tea kettle. ||Bathroom is big with a jacuzzi tub that could easily fit 3 people. Rain shower, 2 sink vanity with plenty of counter space. Only con is there isn’t a door for the bathroom so if you’re taking a shower everyone in the room can see you if they walk by. Toilet closet has a barn door.||Could use a little more lighting from the ceiling in the center of the room.||Facilities:|Outdoor rooftop pool 7am-7pm - infinity edge pool overlooking the city… I highly recommend watching the sunset here!||Lobby/7th floor:|Take a look around there are mayan artifacts and artwork everywhere- like a mini museum. Things that might seem like decor may have important symbolic significance. Ask Rudy about the four tapestries on the ground floor level. ||Zamat Restaurant|Breakfast, lunch, dinner|Breakfast buffet is free for globalists. |Breakfast 6am-10am|Sunday Brunch 11am-2pm extra 100Q||Zielo Rooftop Bar/Grill had several drinks here and lunch. Good service and food/drink. Great hang out spot too. ||Zies Bar (lobby bar) another great spot to hang out with a drink. ||Ezprezzo Corner serves, coffee, pastries, sandwiches, etc.||Transportation:|Hotel has a large SUV that can be reserved to pick up at the airport. Cost is $15 usd each way. Free for globalists. ||Avia mall is located next door many high end stores.||Staff is excellent here! Rudy - knows so much about the history and culture of Guatemala. Can’t wait to return there’s more to see in the city.
