Hyatt Centric Park City

I’m relocating from Los Angeles and have been staying at Hyatt Centric Park City during the transition, and it has been an incredible experience from the moment I arrived. The driveway and roundabout instantly make the property feel special, and the lobby is beautiful, warm, and inviting with a large fire feature right in the center. The staff has been amazing. When I pulled up, the front desk agent actually came outside to greet me at my car, helped with my luggage, and made check-in effortless. Bell service delivered everything to my room while I headed straight to dinner after a two-day drive from LA. The lobby has everything you could want. There are water fill stations available all day, fruit-infused water, and coffee during certain hours, plus a market where you can grab drip or specialty coffees and some great breakfast items. I’ve been having breakfast there almost every morning. Their take on a breakfast burrito, wrapped in what feels like a pita instead of a tortilla, is surprisingly delicious. I’m a breakfast burrito snob and it definitely won me over. WAG is located right in the lobby and provides services similar to a concierge. They can arrange all kinds of activities depending on the season, from mountain biking and fly fishing to snowmobiling and dog sledding. The hotel also has an onsite game room that is well appointed and a really fun extra touch. The rooms have exceeded my expectations. I’ve now stayed in three different rooms across two of the buildings and each one has been spacious, comfortable, and very well designed. Every room I’ve been in has had a fireplace, refrigerator, microwave, and a balcony with fresh mountain air and incredible views. For someone not from the mountains, the scenery is just stunning to take in every day. The property has a pool and two hot tubs that look amazing. I have been told the pool is heated and that people even use it in the winter. The gym is great and the steam room and sauna are wonderful additions you don’t always find. The location is also perfect for anyone visiting during ski season. They have ski-in ski-out access with a ski valet on site to help with all of your gear. It seems like an ideal spot for après ski even if you are not a guest. And they are opening a massive new gondola right next door, which is incredibly exciting for accessibility and convenience. The onsite restaurant has been consistently excellent. I’ve tried a good amount of the menu by now and everything has been great. The half chicken, mushroom ramen with added chicken, and the burger have been some of my favorites. Every time I walk through the lobby, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to offer recommendations or help me get oriented around Park City. I would recommend this hotel 100 percent. It is warm, comfortable, beautifully designed, and the service has been outstanding from start to finish.

Every interaction since then has been just as friendly.||The rooms have been outstanding. I’ve stayed in a few different ones now, and each has been spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The fireplaces add such a great touch, and having a fridge, microwave, and a balcony with mountain views has made longer stays incredibly comfortable. Waking up to that fresh mountain air and scenery never gets old.||The location is perfect for anyone visiting Park City. The hotel has true ski-in ski-out access with a ski valet, and a major new gondola is opening right next door, which is going to make getting on the mountain even easier. There are restaurants and things to explore right in the canyon, and Old Town is just a quick shuttle ride away. It’s also surprisingly walkable with sidewalks and crosswalks throughout the area.||Food and beverage have been a highlight as well. I’ve tried a lot of the menu during my stay — the half chicken, the mushroom ramen with added chicken, the burger, and the scallops have all been excellent. The bar’s seasonal cocktails are great, and the lobby market has been perfect for morning coffee and quick bites. In the evenings, the big outdoor fire pit is a great place to relax, and you can even grab a s’mores kit from the market to enjoy by the fire.||Throughout my stay, I’ve consistently noticed how safe and comfortable the property feels. The area is quiet and well lit, the front drive is always monitored, and there’s always staff around, which adds a nice sense of reassurance.||Overall, my time here has been fantastic. Beautiful rooms, amazing staff, great food, and a perfect location for exploring Park City. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

My family of 6 had an amazing stay here during the off-season. It felt like we had the place to ourselves and the entire staff treated us amazingly. The pool/hot tub was incredible, the game room was fun, the EPC restaurant was excellent, and our room was great! They really went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

An incredible stay! The large residences are huge and the hotel itself is stunning, but the location for skiing is unbeatable. A massive thank you to Mashayla and Dane, who were both extremely attentive and made our trip seamless. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved this hotel! The bilevel room was awesome, my kids loved it! Staff were warm and friendly, very helpful with all our needs. Restaurant is excellent. Overall we had a fabulous stay.

Note: I mostly stay in Hyatts and this trip put me over 60 nights and I review every one of them after my stay and post picks. I have stayed in Hyatt Centrics in Portland, Denver and Memphis. Just left the hotel yesterday on a long drive back to Oregon. We stayed four nights and had three different rooms as I'm a Globalist and gave our kids two rooms as guest of honor. We did a guaranteed suite upgrade to an amazing loft and they also got upgraded at check-in. This hotel did leave me a bit confused though as to how Hyatt categorizes their hotels. This one is a category 8, which is the highest but I assume it's compared to other Hyatt Centrics and not all Hyatt hotels like the Grand Hyatt but I felt myself comparing this hotel to the Grand Hyatt in Park City which I also stayed at for 4 nights total this summer. First, I'm not a skiier so I will probably only visit these hotels in summer and that's fine by me. Overall, the rooms and the hotel staff were top notch but I did notice some differences in this hotel and the Grand Hyatt which I will describe as I start to notice the little thing things now. Both hotels has soft close toilet seats (use old mean like this at night) but the Grand Hyatt had better toilet paper that was softer. The Grand Hyatt also has this smell when you enter the lobby like the diffuser commercials on TV that was lovely and the Centric did not. The Grand Hyatt used Balman bath products at Category 6, while the Centric (Category 8) did not but they did use the Bee Kind products. At Check-in the Grand Hyatt had swarms of valet and others to bring your stuff up to the room, we unloaded our own stuff at the Centric and lastly, you can get drink and food at the pool at the Grand Hyatt, but nothing at the Centric (although there is a QR code scanner at the pool for food, no one used it and it said food, nothing about drinks). OK, as for the hotel itself. We had a room on the 5th floor with a loft that extended up to the 6th floor and my lady said it was larger than her apt. We had two balconies (one in living room and one in bedroom) and a full size table that sits at least six and full size kitchen with gas stove (love it), full size microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge and full size stackable washer and driver and safe hidden in one of the closest. There was also two bathrooms, one with toilet and sink and the main one with full size jetted tub and stand up shower and two sinks (see the pics below). The room was amazing and we barely used the loft area which has a full size couch, large TV and both couches in the room are pull out sleepers so you can have a good size family in the room and there is a large wine fridge (the kids rooms also had a wine fridge but it was smaller). Additional stuff: there is a full size pool that goes to about 5.5 feet deep and two very large hot tubs. There are two locker rooms inside and that's where the workout area is and inside the lockers rooms are dry sauna and steam rooms. The hotel has a game room on the second floor (see pics) with PS4, pool, ping pong and games. I'll review this separately, but there is only one place to eat on site and it's called EPC. As a Globalist, we all got free breakfast since we did guest of honor and we had dining credits so we ate just about everything on the menu. If I could pick a place of improvement, it would be the restaurant with more high end dishes bit overall the food and service was great. Crowds- I don't like large crowds so this place was perfect as it must have been an off weekend as it seemed like we had the hotel to ourselves at times (gave me The Shining vibes). Shuttle to park city- As you come into the hotel area, you will pass a 7-11 store and that's where the bus stop is located, so it's a bit of a walk from the hotel but you can catch the 101 or 10X into town free. I heard there is a local shuttle (110) that will also take you from 7-11 close to the hotel but still have to walk from drop off point.

My family and I went to ski in park city and stayed at the Hyatt Centric. The team worked so hard to add a personal touch that made the trip a wonderful experience. My wife was looking for mulled wine and no restaurant or bar carried it in Park City. The staff remembered and the next night the waiter mentioned the bartender can make a similar custom drink. Every day the team was so welcoming and excited to be a part of the winter experience for all the guests. Moss and the rest of the staff at the front desk were phenomenal. I would highly recommend this hotel.

They treated us so well. The only complaint is the cost of parking. And the globalist system can be nerve ending. But overall great room. Excellent breakfast. Met our / above our anticipated need / expectations. Quality of the room. Excellent WiFi was able to fully work. (Much better than a Hyatt place WiFi) the bathroom shower was so comfortable and it felt like a spa. Can't wait to return. The basic prices for thsi Hoyle is very nice and the location is steps to Portland nightlife and restaurants.

No room service menu in the room, or perhaps just no room service. You cannot get any snacks or bar food in the bar. The hotel market is filled with snacks of little interest or variety. Change is not available at the front desk, they have no cash in the building, making it impossible to tip the staff. Overall a disappointing experience. A high end hotel with a middle of the road approach.

This gorgeous property is tucked into the mountains of Park City. Vicki checked us in and couldn't have been friendlier or more knowledgeable. She was fantastic and told us everything we needed to know for a great stay! There is on-site parking underground. Hiking/biking/golf/ski out the door. A huge pool and hot tub. Restaurants that can accommodate plant based diets. I believe a free town shuttle too (which we didn't use). Our two queen room had a fireplace and balcony with a Mountain View. There was a microwave, mini fridge and bar sink. We enjoy a glass of wine or beer after dinner on our balcony and watched the sunset and deer come out to graze. It was lovely.

Great property in the Canyons Village area. Came in the summer with a large group, so can't comment on ski amenities. Booked a two room suite, which was huge. Plenty of room for 8-10 people to hang, cook and enjoy each other. Property had two pools and jacuzzi. Kids love the baby ski lift at the bottom of the hill. Walking distance to open plaza area that featured shops, dining and live music. Loved the fireworks on night one. (See video) Staff was great and location perfect!

Nice Hotel in the Canyon Village hub. We stayed the week before Christmas and everything was full of holiday spirit. Best thing about the hotel is the location. A few minute walk from the main Lifts/ shopping hub. One thing that may not be good for the light sleepers. Our room was next to the snow machines. These machines are pretty loud and can run 24/7 throughout the night.

From check-in to checkout, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience! Even the breakfast buffet for my company conference was beautifully laid out, a great spread of drinks and dishes for both breakfast and dinner. The hotel restaurant and bar has some great food too. Only thing is you can't just order drinks per Utah law. Food must also be ordered at the same time. Front desk is really nice and always smiling. The room has so many thoughtful creature comforts from outlets everywhere including USB and a bath tub and separate shower. Comfy robes, extra towels, iron and board, dishes and utensils, huge personal frig, gourmet kcup coffee maker, door privacy cover, relaxing balcony with table and chairs, and full cable TV lineup.

Such a charming hotel in park city! This is a ski in/out property but unfortunately we had an icon pass and still needed to drive out since this mountain uses epic pass. This is our second time staying here and it never disappoints. Rooms are very comfortable especially the suites that have full kitchen/laundry. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant downstairs is fantastic. It was fully decorated for the holidays which was really nice. They have valet or self park options. I would come back here in a heartbeat... only next time I'll get an epic pass so we can try the mountain.

Beautiful place!! Definitely up on the mountain! The room was great! Nice and comfy, the fireplace with one switch was so warm! The hot tubs outside were perfect temperature and the pool looked warm too for winter! There were plenty of towels out there too!! Staff was very friendly. Most things you will need you could get at their little market, I even liked these s'more kits you could buy! The parking garage underneath the room made it so easy to get in and out to explore park city!!

Came here during "off season" so it was a ghost town! The hotel was super nice. Well laid out, nice pool and hot tub and gym. We spent a lot of time at the gym and pool and both were very nice. The gym has a peloton which was sooo nice. My only complaint was we asked to be on same floor at least as our friends and we were Told no...it again was a a ghost hotel maybe seen 5-10'people all weekend. My other complaint was how terrible the pillows were. Hated them.

Not what they said it was I got this hotel because they said it was a ski in and a ski out never there's no lift around and if you want to do a lift you will need to pay and go up hill The service sucks we asked for some medicine and they wanted to charge us to bring it up to the room we had dinner one night at the restaurant super expensive for nothing the server was rude and no cash just card They don't have no massages or spa or sauna all the pools are outside this hotel sucks If I knew this I would've never stayed here for the amount of money I spent I could've stayed in another resort

This is our third hotel experience in Park City, and so far, the best. Done in the homogeneous architectural style that concerns itself with being inoffensive rather than interesting, the Hyatt Centric Hotel just exists with nothing distinctive or special. It is just "there." Since I am not a skier and spend most of my time in PC during the summer, I cannot comment on its ski in ski out probabilities. However, the rooms are huge with full kitchens, a large living room, and a separate bedroom. I could go bowling in the bathroom. It is that large. Two flat screen TVs provide innocuous entertainment for those who haven't developed intellectually. Everything is very clean and there is no fear of getting a rash. The decor is remarkably ugly, with no sense of style or design. In fact, the concept of these rooms must conclude no one will be actually staying in them. Doors open against the bed, which has no room for a night stand; interesting. A light behind the bed stayed on for most of the night, as we could not discern where the switch may be. Mysteriously, it turned off by itself after a couple of hours. Oh, there is a gas fireplace that provides ersatz intimacy for the cognitively disabled. The lobby is very nice with free valet parking. Oh, it isn't really free. That's included in your resort fee, which you pay for the privilege of using what hotels are supposed to provide; pool, shuttle to downtown, flush toilets etc. The bar was great, once the wedding party left, and the bartenders could see us sitting at the bar. The glow of matrimony somehow made us invisible at first. Once the room emptied out, we were served well at the nice bar. Although, I am in a sarcastic mood about cookie cutter hostelries, the Hyatt Centric will meet your needs well, even if it does lack any panache.

Great Hyatt property. We have a nice suite with full kitchen. Free breakfast for Hyatt Globalist. Valet was free. We will be back.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Every staff member I was in contact with were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I loved that our king room had a little kitchen and balcony with a great view. The restaurant was amazing! Great, high quality food. Parking was easy. Overall very happy with this hotel.

AGAIN this hotel management and staff disappointed. We arranged a car for us to take us to the airport early. The van did not show. This hotel has no service. Christina was working the front desk and she said she ild do anything but that WE could search on the internet. Also, there were no Uber or Lyft cars available at all, so we were literally stuck.

If you can get your room for under a hundred bucks it's worth it. The bathrooms really needed to upgrading, the rooms were starting to show where and tear and could use some renovation as well. Two of the outlets in my room didn't work.

This was our first visit to the Hyatt in Park City and my husband and I were very impressed. The minute we arrived we were greeted by a staff member who showed us were the check in desk was. So easy and fast! Next our luggage and skis were all tagged and we were headed to our room and it was so beautiful. King bed, fireplace and pretty nice bathroom. Wished the countertop was bigger though. I need more space . The most important thing for me is the cleanliness. I would recommend anyone coming to PC to stay here. We had the best time!

False advertisement!! DO NOT STAY HERE!! We come to Park city to ski annually for many years and stay at one of the resorts in the canyon. You typically have to walk a little to the lifts but lifts can get crowded, more in the last few years. When I found out that this hotel is ski-in, ski-out with a lift outside the hotel, we decided to stay here. It's twice the price as the others and the rooms are LOT smaller but avoiding the long lines and the crowd was worth the extra. We even convinced another family to do the same. Spending twice as much and sacrificing the space. NOPE!!! The ski lift was closed! Instead of ski-in Ski-out, we had to shuttle, then walk to the crowded lifts. It's COMPLETELY OPPOSITE Of what they advertised! DO not stay here!!

This hotel is top notch! I have been to a lot of Hyatt's and this one is on the top of my list. The service has been outstanding. They upgraded us to a one bedroom suite which is super nice and perfect for any family. The decor is cozy mountain with a modern flair. Highly recommend this resort. I arrived on my birthday and we came back to the room and these treats were waiting for me. Such a nice touch Hyatt!!!thank you! They also have a free shuttle that will take you down to Main Street which is such a nice touch! Our driver, Rudd has been super helpful with tips on places to go and things to do.

Over the years I have really come to appreciate Hyatt properties. I've found that they do a good job of curating an interesting space, while still prioritizing comfort and accessibility. While it doesn't necessarily boast the grandeur of the Montage or Waldorf, it's still a beautiful space that provides a serene atmosphere whether you wish to relax or ski the mountain. Most of these units are actually owned by individuals and not the hotel, which typically means a lot of preservation will go into keeping them nice. However, I did notice a few housekeeping leftovers, (earrings left behind on the floor by a previous guest, snack wrappers found in between the bed and the headboard) The unit could probably benefit from a bit deeper of a clean. We stayed in a suite, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fully functioning kitchen with updated appliances, dining room, and sitting room complete with TV. During the winter these units are pretty pricey, but in the current off season you can get a seriously insane deals on these units. I imagine this would be an ideal place to grab some hot chocolate and kick back after a day on the mountain. Because our stay was quite short, I don't have much to say about the service. However, I found the staff to be kind and helpful. The lobby is quite spacious and has a small on site market, restaurant and other typical hotel amenities. You can get all sorts of coffee which is of naturally of the upmost importance. On site gym, pool and hot tub for you to soak your limbs after getting your ass kicked on the slopes. I also believe many of these units are ski in/ski out if you're partial to accessibility. Above all else, I found this property to be ideal for those looking for an easy experience. Lots of good options are at your disposal here in PC, but there's something to be said about a modern, but charming space away from downtown, that's still just a stone's throw away.

Absolutely beautiful! The hotel is so clean, friendly and accommodating. They have everything you could possibly need here. We stayed in October and the weather was beautiful. It was so fun to go to nearby walking distance restaurants and enjoy the scenery. I'd love to come back. Also, we stayed at the restaurant on the hotel property, the food was delish!

This review is for the Escala Lodge in the Hyatt Centric at canyons Village Park City Utah. We'd heard great things about their New Years Eve buffet so decided to take the family. It was supposed to be super extravagant and we were told that's why they raised their prices to over 125.00 per person to accommodate this new fare but it was a major disappointment. Almost 800.00 for 4 people and a child and the "spread" was one small table with about 8 chafing dishes filled with things like garlic potatoes. The other side was salad. The carving station featured 2 types of roast beef and no turkey or any other options. The Dessert bar was your choice of small cupcakes or citrus panna cotta. No espresso, coffee or after dinner cocktail offered or in sight. Plus for this, they made us wait over 30 minutes for a table with a 6 year old. We were expecting something on par with the Hotel Del Coronado's Sunday brunch but they delivered something more like a budget wedding buffet. Not recommended. 2019 New Year's Eve.

We have vacationed twice (summer & winter) at this spacious & beautiful resort. I grew up skiing in Mammoth Lakes, Ca & was so surprised by how convenient it was to ski right down to the chair lift from the resort. Rentals are available as well which makes it very easy to get your entire family in & out quickly to enjoy every minute of mountain time. Units 508A, 508B & 508C are very spacious, luxurious yet comfortable with a generous living space, fully appointed kitchen & a gorgeous view of the ski resort. We also made great use of the amenities- beautiful pool, 2 giant jacuzzis & a very nice & clean work out room. I can't say enough about this resort & already have plans for a return visit next season!

The area is under construction. There are three buildings, and two of them don't have any ice machines... so you have to go all the way to the front desk. The rooms are fine. It's annoying to have to go to the one building for everything if you are in one of the other two large buildings. Major design flaw for those with kids etc. They clearly did not fully think through this design.

What an amazing stay. I hosted an event here and the entire team was amazing. From the moment I pulled up, I was greeted with warm smile after warm smile. This was my first time in Park City, but certainly won't be my last. Getting upgraded to this amazing room was certainly an unexpected bonus.

I didnt stay here, but the company I work for held a retreat and we had one of our dinners here. The food was great! We had gourmet bison & salmon, sliders, tri tip, veal, etc. The best part had to be their HUGE fire pit area. We easily had 30 people sitting around it, singing songs and soaking up the great view and mountain air.

Mud season makes for a quiet and relaxed environment with a touch of magical flowers through the mountains and blossoms. Service standards rise to top and pool frequently is all to self if coming this time of year. S'mores at night and rooms with mountain vistas are abounding. My suite wrapped a view before me I'll remember for s long time, taking in the gorgeous architecture of the resort but also the peaks surrounding the village.

This place was breathtaking. It was beautiful, elegant and pristine. Everything from the lemon/lime infused water in the lobby to the fully stocked "general store" downstairs... this place was worth everything. We were put up in the single most extravagant and amazing suite that I have ever laid my eyes on. Upon entrance you are greeted by a fireplace situated in a large living room, to your right is a fully stocked kitchen with stove/oven, island with sink and beautiful stainless steel appliances. There were two bedrooms, one with a jacuzzi, two balconies and a shower, the other with one balcony and attached bathroom. Everything was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the views weren't to be beat. I particularly love the area of Park City that Escala is situated in. The nesting of resorts back here is almost residential, like a subdivision. There are several little restaurants and it's surrounded by chairlifts. Check this place out people - it's worth every penny.

Had a great stay even though there wasn't much snow for skiing, but we made it work. Nice pool and they have two hot tubs. The ski valet and ski in ski out was awesome. They give everyone in your party a bottle of water each day and have water and cider stations so it's easy to stay hydrated in the upper altitude. Very clean and most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

I came back from an exceptional vacation in park city, and the highly was my stay at the Hyatt. It's perfectly located just 30 min from SLC Airport. Near great restaurant and the best thing is that you can ski in and out of the resort. The new General manager Geoff Gray has been elevating the experience in every way since he took over the resort a few months ago. I can't wait to come back!

This is by far the best Hyatt resort we have ever stayed. We stayed in Wasath building in a 1 bedroom suite. The room was huge! Once open the door to your room, you will be greeted by a top notched appliances on your left (a full kitchen with sub-zero fridge, stove, keurig coffee maker, etc.) The dining table and living area in front of you and a bedroom is to the right. The bathroom is huge with stand up shower and bathtub. The balcony is a nice touch but we were facing a new construction so we didn't get to use the balcony very much. This place is about 7 minute walk to the ski area in Westgate, super convenient since that area has tons of shopping and restaurants. If you have kids, don't forget to check out the game room on the 2nd floor. Although games for Xbox1 & PS4 are limited, there are there if you need. Aside from video games, ping pong table, pool table, foosball table & board games are available. All the staff are super friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. If they don't know, they will make sure to find out. My 7 year old son loved this place so much that he didn't want to leave. He was worried that our hotel in Salt Lake City won't be as nice. This hotel sets a gold standard to a luxury hotel.

Heaven on earth. Check in was a breeze with Devin at the front desk. So kind, courteous, accommodating and professional. He clearly explained parking, restaurant etc... The accommodations are emasculate. This is my third stay and everything looks brand new. The suite has a full kitchen with a Subzero fridge and Wolf gas oven and stove. Beautiful furnishing and a warm fireplace in the living room and separate whirlpool tub and shower in the bathroom. I never want to leave. I seriously could live here full time. Kudos to the housekeeping, maintenance market and front desk staff. Their hard work is evident and much appreciated.

This place was amazing!! I truly felt like a princess!! The staff was so attentive and friendly, I called for an extra shampoo and received two care packages. From the suite, to the views , hit tubs and other amenities I would recommend this plane top anyone! Definitely one off the best places I have ever stayed.

This is a very nice ski in ski out hotel in the Canyons at Park City. The staff are very friendly and the location is walking distance from the main base The ski butler and trail access is on the 2nd floor so if you can get a room on that floor it may make life easier The in hotel market has a good selection of snacks and breakfast food if you just want to get up and go though if you have pickier eaters you would be well served to hit a real grocery store The free wifi was fast (good enough for House of Cards season 2) and easy to access

We have been going to this hotel for 10 years, starting when it was a Hyatt Escala not Hyatt Centric. This year with all the snow, Reservations desk is overwhelmed and rude when I called 34 days ahead for a March 20th reservation. Yes, the hotel can be booked but I have received the "we are full and overbooked story" inconsistently (one time it was one date and another time it was another date). I have never received such rude treatment from a hotel much less from one I have patronized for 10 years. I will not be returning to this hotel again.

Will be booking again! We arrived very late Friday night and we were still able to do a paid upgrade to an amazing suite that really elevated my experience. The bathtub was huge big enough for two to soak after a long day of snowboarding. Our view was perfect 605B if you can get it. The robes were so soft and plush great to wrap up in and enjoy a cup of coffee. The bed felt basically brand new I could have spent all day lounging in it. Also to my amazement this is the first hotel I've been to with actual high quality hair dryers! Great location for guest coming to ski as well.

During my stay at this hotel, I received great friendly treatment from the staff members. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Park City, UT. I spend a week there during our Wounded Warrior reunion. Their military support was felt by our group, and for that... we are very thankful!.

After 3 weeks of work travel I really needed at least one day of pampering and RnR. I decided upon the Hyatt Escala Lodge, this place does not disappoint! The one bedroom looks like a small condo...kitchen looks like the magic fairy gods have waved a wand of marble which also spills over into the huge bathroom...deep soak-tub and separate shower. The living room is also hugh that includes a massive marble detailed fireplace, the bedroom is a decent size that has a fireplace as well. The best part of the Hyatt is that you can take the elevator downstairs and hop on the lift to get a little skiing in for the day!

Was really disappointed in our experience at this hotel. To start with the positive, the hot tub is fantastic! Also, the hotel staff that we dealt with were really friendly and helpful when they could be. However,...... A couple things.... 1. There are ice buckets in every room but no ice machines. If you want ice, you have to get it from the front desk... Never been to a hotel without an ice machine on every floor.. 2. Can't really say anything about the bar or restaurant because they were always closed too early! We never even had a single drink at this hotel. Maybe it's just because it's Utah.... 3. No room service! Wow! Not sure you can say you're a full service hotel without it... just sayin! 4. Our phone in the room wasn't working... we had to call the front desk from our cell phones to get.... of all things, TOILET PAPER!! There wasn't any in our room when we checked in!! How in the world did this room even pass inspection?? Again, the staff and everyone we dealt with were great and very friendly. Compared to all the other Hyatt Hotels, however, this one just doesn't really live up to the Hyatt brand name. Better bet is to stay next door at the Hilton and it pains me deeply to say that!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place! The service was top notch, all staff was incredible. We loved the valet parking that is INCLUDED and not an extra charge each night. We upgraded to the suite and were blown away by the room we stayed in- not expecting it to be as huge as it was. We were floored and overjoyed with the room and the views. I also loved how close it was to everything- the ski lifts (multiple), historic park city and tons of shopping and restaurants, and 30 min away from where we went Snowmobiling. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Park City.

I have never been so disappointed in accommodations. When booking the four bedroom suite that was advertised to accommodate 12 with a full kitchen I figured it would work great for our group of 10. For $23k for one week we did not have enough dishes, silverware, cookware, blankets, towels or pillows. Basic necessities were not even met. With every request long waits occurred for responses. After requesting extra blankets they were repoed two days later and never replaced or returned. Who does that? The property is also poorly maintained. There was ice all over the pool area that caused a fall for one of our guests. No acknowledgement was made by staff when the injury was reported. In the main room they advertise two couches for seating plus chairs. This unit had one small couch to seat their advertised 12 person accommodation. This place is not worth the money or frustration.

I went for a conference and honestly didn't really get to experience much of the hotel. But I loved my room, it was comfortable and clean. The whole place is gorgeous and lovely. The restaurant is pretty great too. But here's where they really shine: the people. They are so far beyond wonderful there. Right from the beginning I felt cared for. But when a family emergency came up, they really shone (shined?). They were kind and attentive and just amazing. I can't thank them enough for what they did for me. They deserve all the business and all the stars.

I was here from Sunday-Wednesday of last week at this place is great! I had a beautiful room on the sixth floor in the main section of the hotel and when I walked onto my balcony, I could see people skiing by! The customer service was amazing! I had a scratchy throat and a girl at the provisions market made a me home remedy to help my throat. Also, I would go by the market to grab hot water and honey for my tea every morning in which they didn't mind at all. One day, I was busy working on my laptop many hours and one of the managers noticed that I kept walking by to get hot water for my tea so he offered me a thermos of hot water so I can get my work done and not spend so much time walking back and forth from one part of the hotel to the other. Late at night that day, I went down to the market but unfortunately it was closed. A girl at the front desk noticed me lingering and re-opened the market so I can buy my juice and snacks. The staff is very friendly, they always greet you with a hello and a smile when walking by. I will not hesitate to book my stay here next time!

Outdoor jacuzzi in 20 degree weather... yes please! Fireplace inside the spacious room to relax when returning from a long day of snowboarding. Restaurant definitely could need an upgrade but live music made up for what it lacked. Did I mention the ski/snowboard valet and the lift right around the corner? The Hyatt takes responsibility for the difficult part of traveling and all we have to do is enjoy.

My girlfriend and I found a good deal on Hotwire for a night at the Hyatt Escala Lodge. When we arrived, the staff were overwhelmingly friendly and great to interact with. There was one small issue with the sheets on our bed when we got into the room. We brought it up and they quickly replaced them. The general manager caught wind of it and offered to give us another night for free and pay for our food. He certainly didn't need to do that, but we were very grateful and took him up in the offer. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious but not over the top. Hot tub and pool area were awesome, not to mention the steam room and sauna. Only downside with the pool area is that it didn't seem to have heated walkways so the ice was a little treacherous. The food at the cafe downstairs was hit and miss. Great breakfast burrito, but pretty bland hamburger. For the prices they charge you expect more. Overall, amazing stay. Would definitely go back.

Not sure why this isn't receiving better reviews. I went for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend for a one night stay. Even though we arrived at 11am, the room was ready, and the staff was extremely helpful. We went straight to the ski valet (AMAZING!) and returned to the valet when we'd had enough. The ski rental was a bit overpriced, but the service was GREAT, the guy even helped me adjust and put on my non-rented boots when he saw I was having some difficulties. After that, we bought a six pack of beer from the market ($20 for 6 coronas, not store pricing, but not bar pricing either), put them in the obligatory plastic cups and headed to the hot tub. And oh my. The hot tub was fantastic. I wanted to stay all day. perfect temperature, surrounded by crisp air and a beautiful view. the room was spacious, I loved having our own fireplace, and the shower was very nice. I wish I had time to enjoy the jetted bath, but alas. Despite being full, they gave us a late checkout, and I stayed and worked till 4 before enjoying the hot tub and locker room/sauna. The staff was super accommodating even though we had checked out and helped us get keys to use the facilities for the rest of the day. Would definitely go back and was very sad to leave.

We went here right at the start of the 2012 winter season. Weekend of thanksgiving. Out of the 3 mountains, only the Canyons had opened and so Hyatt - a ski-in-ski-out resort was also open. ***please note that the resort was quite empty at the time we were there Staff - 5 stars Room hygiene - 5 stars Maintenance request - 5 stars The fireplace was not working and the curtain clips were stuck. Someone was in the room within 5 minutes to fix both those things. We thought that the room was quite poorly lit and requested an additional table lamp which also they brought within 5 minutes. Cafe - 3 stars. When a hotel opens its doors for business, it should do so completely. The cafe was running but the dining area was not ready. Our only options to enjoy our morning pancakes was either to sit on the lobby couches or to take them back to our room and eat it on our bed.... we chose the latter. Ski valet - 5 stars basically since it is newly opened, the ski gear was brand new. Valet staff - Friendly and courteous. It might help to put some signs up when entering the canyons letting guests know where the Hyatt is located. We got lost between the Sundial lodge, the Silverado lodge and Grand Summit before finally finding our way to Hyatt Escala. I would go back again.

One of the worst hotel/resort experiences ever... Drove for 12 hours with my family for a relaxing holiday vacation and this is what we are welcomed with...bloody sheets.. You make your own decision folks. The overall cleanliness of our whole room is very much suspect...

Third year staying at Escala and consistently happy with the room quality, convenience and friendliness of staff. Each room is spacious and utilitarian to store your ski gear, offers gorgeous bathrooms, comfy beds and a warm and toasty fire place in each room. Enjoy the hot tub with some brews to sooth tour achey muscles after a long day on the slopes and use that big fluffy robe in your room. Ski rental is located on the second floor (see my review for Aloha Ski Rental) which offers a direct ski access to the sunrise chair lift. There is a market and a restaurant located in the lobby. The staff has always been friendly, professional and accommodating to our requests. This is truly my Park City paradise/home away from home!
