Hyatt Centric San Isidro Lima

Member Status: Discoverist||This was our favorite hotel during our trip to Peru. Incredibly modern lobby and decorations all around. During check in, I greatly appreciated that the front desk took their time to walk me through the hotel amenities and nearby local food options.||Room: 1 King Bed Deluxe (paid upgraded from a King Bed Deluxe room)||I waited closer to our check in date to see if the upgrade price would go down, and it did. I was INCREDIBLY impressed by the size of our room. The bed and living room area was extremely spacious and nearly just as big as the bathroom itself. The bathroom had two sinks, a jacuzzi, and a separate shower and toilet area. ||This property is part of their Hyatt Centric collection, known for its quirky design concept. This was clearly apparent with the room design, where the bathroom was separated by a movable door next to the bed. I liked the design, but can foresee this as being a little odd by other people. ||Food: Amazing||We had their complimentary breakfast buffet, part of our room rate, and were very pleased with the wide selection. Everything was delicious. Along with the food options already laid out, you can order select items a la carte, along with customized coffee drinks.||For dinner, we were looking for Lima-style ceviche nearby, but ended up going to the hotel restaurant because we were tired for the day. Lo and behold, they had it! Food was just amazing and decently priced.||Location: Very walkable to nearby restaurants and stores. It was about a 45 minute drive from the airport, and we were able to set up a taxi service directly with the hotel.||The only downside, which wasn’t big at all, was that the lobby and rooftop bar area did get a little crowded. It seemed like this hotel was a popular place for business meetings- many were dressed in office-ware or suits. Despite it being crowded, the rooms were quiet and we were still able to get seated at the restaurants without much wait for a group of 4.

From start to finish, this hotel delivers a true 5-star experience. The amenities, rooms, and service were all exceptional, and every detail was thoughtfully cared for. My experience began even before arrival thanks to the outstanding concierge, Gianfranco, whose support with planning and arrangements set the tone for a seamless, stress-free stay.||The restaurant was another highlight. Aldo and his team made us feel like family each night at dinner. My kids looked forward to seeing him every time we entered! One especially thoughtful gesture was when Aldo went out of his way to pick up a few local sauces we had been wanting to bring home. A small act that meant a great deal. We were also warmly taken care of by Allondra, whose kindness and attentiveness made every meal a pleasure. The breakfast spread was incredible, with options that pleased even the picky eaters in our family.||What I appreciated most was how the hotel allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation while maintaining my comforts, from accommodating my dietary needs to offering excellent wellness amenities, such as the gym and healthy food choices.||A stay here isn’t just about luxury, it’s about feeling cared for. We can’t wait to return!

Breakfast here was incredibly good. The Americano menu selection with an omelette prepared to your liking, accompanied by an assortment of sweet breads, cappuccino and freshly squeezed orange juice was a beautiful start to every morning. Hat tip to Sergio who ensured our orders were always on point.

Stayed for 2 nights with my son and absolutely loved it. The hotel feels brand new, well curated furniture and artwork, the room was well appointed, had tons of charging areas, extremely comfortable beds, and great amenities in the bathroom. It all felt new and beautiful. We loved the breakfast buffet that came complimentary with our room, tons of options as well as our dinner in Isidro. It did not come across as a hotel restaurant but more an upscale restaurant. Last, my son loves to swim and I love to workout in the mornings. The pool is perfect, we had a ton of fun, it was also nicely heated. They had a really nice fitness room with tons of equipment. Hands down a great hotel if you are passing through Lima!

As a family of 4, stayed in two connecting rooms.|Rooms are spacious and bathrooms are nice.|Hotel common areas are clean.|Rooftop bar is chick.||The breakfast buffet is very extensive. We were there on Christmas day and that day, they enhanced that to much more offerings. Several live chefs preparing dishes and many local delicacies.||All the staff were very polite.|Great value.|Location is a bit apart but Ubers are cheap.

Our stay in Lima was made even better by the incredible hospitality at this hotel. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of.||Every interaction felt genuine and kind, which made us feel right at home. The hotel itself was lovely, but it was truly the people who made the experience so memorable.||Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lima!
