After much research on hotels and driving 19 1/2 hours - We had our very 1st family vacation here last week! We stayed 4 nights in the queen/family suite with kitchenette. The room was exactly what we were looking for. The location of the hotel was perfect for going to the universal parks and for food/shopping. The free breakfast was descent and a plus. The hotel and room were nice and clean. We felt safe. The hotel staff was great! The only complaints I have is the thermostat in our hotel room would not go below 72 and the exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom. We did let the hotel know and they offered to send someone to fix it. Not a deal breaker by any means and if that’s the worst experience of the whole stay I’d say we did pretty good! If we ever decide to make the drive again we will definitely be back!

My family stayed at the Hyatt House in July of 2025. From the second we walked in it we were impressed. The hotel was beautifully designed, clean, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and gave the kids plenty of room to move around and enjoy. The pool was perfect for everyone to cool off from the Florida heat. The breakfast buffet included was filled with many options and a large space to accommodate the many travelers. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt House this past week for a family vacation. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and attentive. The room was the perfect size for our family. The staff during breakfast was extremely helpful and friendly; I believe a woman named Kiki assisted my daughter when she had a minor issue. It was a great location, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The room was clean and cool. The beds were comfy. The pool was amazing. The staff stole the show though. From check in to check out everyone was so friendly and kind. We were welcomed with a smile and quickly checked in to our room. Despite the late arrival they allowed they allowed my kids to have a few minutes in the pool (the one thing they had been looking forward to the whole trip other than Universal). Emily definitely made it a very memorable birthday trip for my girls (13 and 5)during breakfast. She went above and beyond to make their breakfast special. Coloring pages, cheesecake with a candle, sang them happy birthday and taught my youngest a few words in Spanish! I definitely hope Emily is working on our next visit!

The place was very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable, tidy, and had everything I needed. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, which made me feel welcome. Checking in and out was quick and easy. Overall, I had a pleasant and smooth experience.

We stayed here 4 nights. We are a family of 5, the room was spacious and clean, it had two TV one in the bedroom area and another in living room. Jade Q kept our room clean and gave us fresh towels when needed. The hotel has a complementary shuttle to the universal parks, it was a good service. Breakfast was included and it carry a good variety of food, Emilly greeted us every morning with a smile and her cheerfulness and kindness was unique. Totally will return here on our next planned vacation to Universal.

Our stay was perfect. The rooms were comfortable and everything worked great. The breakfast included was a plus. Emily assisted us in every way possible and is so nice, she is a great asset to your hotel. Thank you for everything. We sure will be back and will share our wonderful stay and recommend Emily.

I had an outstanding experience thanks to Emily at Hyatt House. Every morning at breakfast, she was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive to every detail. She went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and pleasant, providing great local recommendations and handling my requests quickly and with a smile. Her friendly demeanor and excellent customer service truly made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. Hyatt House is lucky to have someone as dedicated and kind as Emily on their team. I highly recommend this location, and I look forward to staying here again — thanks to Emily’s exceptional service!

Yelp
The less fancier hotel that we stayed at on this Florida trip, but we liked this better as the rooms were way more spacious and it has a kitchen with all the basic equipment to cook up balut at midnight. Even got the salt and pepper for it. Shuttle service to University Studios. Accommodated us for an early check in as our flight arrived super early at 6am and even screwing around with a Walmart haul trip and grabbing breakfast, it was still hours away from official check in time. Don't remember if parking was free or not, but it was really easy to drive in and out of this parking lot and not have to walk very far. I think we got the absolute best room layout and it was still very affordable for what it has to offer. Tell me about your experience if you've been here or is going to after reading this review:)

Yelp
Big room, good free breakfast, great customer service, and close to universal studios! When we checked into our suite we noticed the dresser in the bedroom had these small tiny bugs crawling in it. We were immediately upset but they moved us to another floor. The whole room floor felt wet and moist. Not sure why hotels have carpeting for sanitary reasons... anyways, we just took proper precautions and washed out belongings as soon as we got back home. I attached a pic of the bug

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel in order to be able to walk to Universal Studios. We were so pleased! Our suite was clean and comfortable. They were able to accommodate our special request for early check-in. The beds were comfy and the kitchen area was nice with a fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave and dishes (among other amenities). It was also nice to have a kitchen table and chairs. We relaxed in the pool area in the afternoon. It wasn't crowded. There were nice pool towels and the pool was heated (not too warm). There were chairs to lounge in and vacation music playing in the background. They do not have a hot tub. There is an area with coffee and tea that's always available. A hot breakfast is included (plus cold items and fresh fruit). Lots of families ate the hot breakfast but they have lots of seating and keep things moving. They were even able to bring me sealed gluten-free bread to accommodate my allergy and I didn't have to worry about cross contamination! We truly had a relaxing stay with no issues. We recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again in the future.

Yelp
This is a solid Hyatt property near Universal Studios. The lobby was very nice, and the free buffet breakfast in the impressive breakfast room offered many delicious options. The rooms were not only clean and spacious but also featured an exciting surprise - bunk beds! It was a novel touch that added extra fun to our stay. Overall, a solid choice for anyone visiting the area.

Yelp
I am so impressed with the service at this hotel. if you are planning an Orlando family adventure this should be your hotel pick! This is hands down one of my favorite hotels for the price. The service is so great. Naomi the gal at the front desk is so guide and generous. She is unbelievably spectacular.

Yelp
Very clean establishment, would stay here again. Every morning they serve breakfast till 10 & has free guest WiFi. The bonfire pits in the evening is a vibe of it's cooler weather out.

Yelp
I am a Hyatt member and usually stay exclusively with Hyatt hotels. This hotel was terrible. Our room had cockroaches which freaked out my children and made it difficult to get them to sleep. Our room was also only stocked with decaf coffee which just added to our frustration. In my opinion, this place isn't worth it and would highly suggest staying at one of the universal properties instead.

Yelp
This is a great hotel with a very reasonable price! Our family of 6 stayed here on a week day for $164! Amazing hot breakfast, great customer service and clean/roomy rooms. Large Fitness area with a few treadmills, bicycle, dumbbells that go up to 50lb.

Yelp
Newish modern style hotel, five minutes from universal studios driving, free parking, free breakfast and no hotel fees, sounds good to me. I booked here last minute so the rate was a little higher than usual $200 total including taxes, etc. for one night. but I am not complaining. Everything was clean, except when you came out the elevator on the 7th floor, it felt a little musty, why can't hotels just have floors vs rugs. The room (queen suite) was pretty, I loved the layout. A big tv screen panel, divides the room so there's enough space and it feels like an apartment. It had a small kitchen with a microwave, stove top, appliance, cups, utensils, washing machine etc. The bathroom was spacious and clean. Love the light on the mirror, need to buy one for my house. lol. Beds were comfy and we really didn't hear any noise but we were at the end of the hallway. We had free breakfast the next morning and it was decent. They had hot selections such as scrambled eggs, canadian ham, french toast sticks, hash brown, oatmeal, yogurt, breads. and coffee of course. Not bad at all! Pool area was small and they had a bar outside next to a fire pit. I would stay here again if in the area.

Yelp
Just an Okay experience for us. Let me start by saying there were a lot of goods to our stay here. The location was great for Universal, the free shuttle to and from the park was great! The people were also very nice. The rest of the place was just okay. The beds were comfy but the sofa bed was uncomfortable even for a kid. The free breakfast was a plus but the food itself was not very good. Looking back and weighing the pros vs cons we would stay here again however it would not be our first choice booking.

Yelp
This is a solid true 3 star hotel for people looking to stay near Universal studios, but want to save on parking and resort fees. Parking is free and there are no resort fees, that's essentially unheard of in the Universal Orlando area, for that reason alone many people may choose this property. Also one can walk to the park from the hotel in about 20 minutes. I stayed in a suite with a small kitchen, the room itself was quality, but the A/C unit and filters must be looked at. Throughout the night the A/C unit would blast and sounded like a helicopter taking off I woke up at least 5 times. Also there was a musty smell, which was dust throughout the halls. I woke up congested due to the poorly maintained units. Considering this hotel is only 5 years old it's a shame that modern A/C systems were overlooked. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and the lobby is modern. I probably won't stay here again, I am a loyal Hyatt member, but would choose a different property.

Yelp
10/10 this hotel is perfect. Location, staff, and cleanliness. I have zero complaints! Just like the address says, it is directly across from universal studios and next to a TGI Fridays. It is close to all major attractions. About a 20 minute drive to MCO. I will definitely return with my family!
google avatar

Carrie G.

Yelp
Second time staying here and I can tell that this place has gotten way more popular than when it first opened back 4 years ago. The rooms were clean. The only major complaint that I have is that I think the shuttles to universal studios could run at least one more round after 8 pm. You can't catch any of the light shows at dusk if the last shuttle is 8 pm. The breakfast was very whatever. I feel like the quality is definitely going down since it opened. We also had a bottle of wine and some chicken wings at the bar. Surprisingly the chicken wings were pretty good. I had very low expectations for it. But they were perfectly crispy and juicy. Would only stay here if you're here for Universal.

Yelp
Notice that the Elite's have high ratings for this hotel... we earned that level by good and honest reviews. This us our second visit and being Hyatt members who travel often this is a great example of the Hyatt House concept. The staff are friendly, the rooms are laid out well with a kitchen, bar, living room and bedroom area. When we stay more then a few days, we typically pay for a condo style hotel room with all the luxuries of home. With Hyatt House we get all of those things except laundry in our room. Some have complained about breakfast... It's a free breakfast, be happy of that. It is a decent breakfast for a quick serve and the dining area is great. If you want to compare standards of Hyatt AND Orlando hotels, this one ranks high (especially in Orlando), and they have done the Hyatt House concept justice. I will write a more thoughtful review, but I wanted to do one quickly as the current rating does not do justice. Don't let a few reviews of whiny people throw you off... this is s great stay.

Yelp
I was billed twice for a one-night stay. Two duplicate posted transactions. When I called the hotel's accounting department, they told me they saw only one charge in their system and advised me to chargeback through my bank. My bank told me this was unusual as they (the bank) clearly saw two duplicate charges in the bank's system. Unfortunate ending to this stay. Would not recommend.

Yelp
I was told this place was built not too long ago. Upon searching for the perfect hotel within my budget, this place delivered! Many of the hotels in the area look dirty and dated. I consider myself a person that likes the modern feel. I went with my gut based on the pictures and booked a suite for the 2 of us. The room surpassed our expectations. It was spacious, extremely clean, had 2 TVs, and a kitchen area with an island. Thank you for making it a great experience for my girl and I.

Yelp
In Orlando or job training? I have been at this hotel since Sunday night. being paid for by my employer. I do not know how much this room runs per day. But what I can say is that I definitely would stay here in the future when My family and I are in Orlando. I did take a few pictures of this room and it is top notch!

Yelp
This is a fantastic hidden gem in a sea of ordinary hotels. Love this newest addition to the Hyatt family. Open only a year and you notice immediately the details for stress free travel. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating with lighting for easy reading. Computer stations are open and ready for you. A massive dining area that is staffed by some of the best top of the line servers. This team is spot on ensuring there is hot coffee, iced cold lemon fresh water, or walk on up to the bar and ask the bartender for the drink of choice. Don't forget the impressive and generous hot daily breakfast too. There is an outdoor fire seating area, a well maintained pool and an independent open 24 hours fitness center. The rooms are spacious and security is important, so keep your key handy. Plenty of parking so there was no concern whatsoever to head out and come back later in the evening. Well lit parking lot adds to the sense of safety. The absolutely best part of this hotel was that the rooms are highly insulated so no worries, you will really get a good night's sleep even if your neighbors have their kids running the hallway, we never heard them. Yeah, I opened the door and saw the Mickey munchkins giggling and running but when I went inside our room, it was peaceful and relaxing. Love that! Add the front end staff who greeted and sought to ensure that our stay was superb. Hoping for their continued success and at the same time want to keep it as my hidden gem.

Yelp
Stayed here for long weekend to visit Universal Studios theme parks. It's super close and has limited shuttle service to and from the park, but you must have reservations to ride TO the park. Decor is nice, and it's mostly very clean in the common areas. (Hallways get kinda grubby by the end of the weekend.) Breakfast is hot, plentiful, and tasty. My teenagers were able to eat enough for the grouchiness to abate.Coffee bar is very well stocked. However, there is a shortage of seating during the last hour of breakfast service. Pool is compact and heated. The poolside fire pits are on at night but usually quite crowded. H-bar doesn't open and close with posted hours- it's staff dependent like many things in the hospitality industry. The bar is your only source of onsite food options outside of the grab-n-go market near the front desk. Plenty of nearby restaurants which Yelp reviews helped us find. Room prices are pretty fair for the area. But-- I don't like the "surprise" parking fee not disclosed on the reservations site for parking your own car in the lot that is taken up daily by vanloads of construction workers for the project across the street. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel deserves a better overall rating. Stayed here during a 3 night trip to Universal. Staff was friendly and professional. We were greeted every time we entered the lobby with smiles. They have a shuttle rep available each morning in case you want a free ride. Just chat with her, get on the schedule, and show up on time. It does pick up other partner hotels, so the bus is full by the time you get into the park. Make note of the return times too, there's only about 4. If you miss those, you'll have to Uber back. Room was spacious and clean. You can tell it's still a new property from just how not worn down everything looks. Our king bed was SUPER comfy, ample drawers and closet space for 2 people. Lots of power outlets for charging your devices, and a mini fridge. Shower had good water pressure, and amenities outside of body lotion were included. Didn't check out pool, but it seemed to always have a good crowd. Naturally, this is a family friendly hotel, so don't go in here expecting business travelers. There's also an in house restaurant and bar. Breakfast is served buffet style. Get there early! It was easy to navigate at 7am. Not so much around 9am when there's hardly an open table. The offerings are standard and good for free. A few warm items like bacon or sausage, scrambled "egg product" (you know, that gooey yellow blob); a lots of other options like yogurt, cereal, bread, and fruit. It won't blow your mind, but it's a good start to the day to save a penny. I'm a Hyatt Explorist, so I stayed on points, but normally I think it runs mid $200's on weekends. You're paying for location, and in that sense, it's a fair price. Sadly, Hyatt bumped the category designation for this in 2019, so I'm not sure if I'd necessarily come back next time. I might opt for one of the on-site hotels that include other perks like early admission and/or Express Pass. Those on-sites have more frequent buses and boats going to the park.
google avatar

Andrew D.

Yelp
To be completely honest, I wasn't expecting too much out of this one night stay, but I was truly impressed by this property. I booked a base level king den room, but as a result of my Explorist status, I was upgraded at check in. I was so floored when I entered the room. It was a MASSIVE suite with a separate kitchen, living room, and bedroom--and a TV in each! The kitchen was huge with a long countertop and high top bar table. Separated by a partial wall was the living room, which was in the corner of the building with windows on both sides of the room making it feel so airy. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and bright as well. Upgrades aren't standard in Hyatt House/Place properties, so this was a nice surprise. The hotel was SO clean, especially considering how busy the hotel was. It's clear the staff took pride in their property. I also appreciated how the room came stocked with a complete set of dishes and cookware. We used to stay at the Homewood Suites brand by Hilton a lot and the kitchens are always dark, small, and missing items. The breakfast here was good, eggs, Canadian bacon, and potatoes were the hot selections. I liked the fresh fruit salad. I do wish there were some more bread/pastry options, but all the food was good and fresh. My main gripe with this property is the elevators. Only 2/3 were working, and sometimes only one. Additionally, they were programmed weird, often skipping floors with no rhyme or reason. Elevator issues aside, I definitely plan on returning to this property in the future. Even if I don't get such a great upgrade, I still think this is a great hotel regardless. Nice job!

Yelp
This was a great hotel. Great breakfast selection, great bed, great AC, great patio for the evening. The only concern was the shower...not great water pressure! Having a kitchenette would have been great but our basic King room worked out just fine.

Yelp
Don't hesitate to stay here, it's great! The Hyatt house is a new hotel, therefore everything is updated, clean and comfortable. What a nice change when staying at a hotel. The beds were very comfortable (well the sofa bed could use improvement, but those things never seem comfortable). Plenty of pillows, and a change of sheets in the closet. Upon entering, I really liked the decor. It has a relaxing clean updated look. We were pleasantly greeted by the front desk and they were very informative. The pool area is awesome! It was chilly outside, therefore they heated the pool. Our son loved it. It's a large pool, surrounded by a fire pit area with seating, and an indoor/outdoor bar. Very nice outside atmosphere. We had an issue one evening...my son left his new Adidas shoes at the pool. In the morning we were set to go to Universal, but his shoes were gone! We checked with the front desk and housekeeping - no shoes! We were so bummed. We had to skip the shuttle bus to the park and instead find a place to buy shoes. Thank goodness, there was a large outlet right around the corner! We get some shoes and go to Universal. Upon our return, we checked in with the front desk and were excited to hear that they found the shoes!!! Nice job Hyatt House. In the back of the hotel there Is a universal employee that sells tickets to only the Universal parks (no Disney). This is also where you sign up for the universal shuttle bus (it does get full, so make a reservation a day or so ahead). If you miss it, you can catch an Uber to the park- cost was less than $8.00 as the park is right across the street. Our room had a divided area, this was nice for privacy. The room also had 2 TVs! Before entering the bathroom, there's a built in dresser area which came in handy for suitcases - nice touch! Oh, the breakfast! We were impressed with the options, and they change daily! Bacon, turkey and pork sausage, waffles, sweet breads, cereals, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, bagels, breads, potatoes, oatmeal, yogurt....etc, etc, etc. I agree with another reviewer that the eggs aren't great, but it definitely hits the spot (no running around finding breakfast restaurants), and its included in your stay. One unexpected thing to note was that the breakfast area was huge, no worries that you won't find a place to sit. Very comfortable - light and airy. We would definitely stay there again! No hesitations in recommending the Hyatt Place!

Yelp
We have stayed here twice in two years and it's the spacious rooms and awesome hospitality that keeps us coming back! * Great pool as well. Quiet and perfect for families. Close to Universal with a free shuttle.,

Yelp
This is a brand-spanking new Hyatt House location. It is located directly across the street from the Universal Orlando complex and is walking distance to Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk. Everything is so new that the rooms still have that new smell, so naturally everything is in pristine condition. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and most offer a mini-kitchen area with a microwave, mini fridge/freezer combo and two burner cooktop. There's a multi-use island with extra charging areas. In fact, there are outlets everywhere. In the lamp bases, in the island, in the kitchenette area, and in the bathroom. Our room offered a pull out sofa bed in the "living" area and two wall mounted flat screen TVs that can be tilted and pulled out to accommodate multiple viewing areas. The bathroom features a dressing area opposite the closet, a large sink with some small shelves, towel hook and towel bar. There is only a shower, no tub. I don't know if there are any tubs available. Towels are generously sized and the housekeeping staff is quick to bring extra towels, blankets, pillows, pots and pans, and dishes if you should need them. There's a full breakfast included featuring a pastry and cereal bar, fresh fruits, oatmeal with toppings, scrambled eggs, different types of breakfast potatoes each day we were there, plus pancakes or French toast and some form of meat every day. While we were there we saw ham, sausage and bacon. Everything was very tasty! Breakfast service starts at 6:30 which is great for those going to the theme parks since it means you can fuel up before you go. There's a free shuttle bus service to the parks and you should request a spot for your group early because it does fill up quickly. We did see groups that had to waitlist. But they do everything they can to accommodate. This is a pet-friendly hotel and they have a special area for pets to walk and play which is nice to see. There's a bar and cafe on site and you can order dishes to go. The food is pretty much standard hotel fare and is both tasty and fairly priced. There's a little shop with convenience foods, drinks and sandwiches to-go also. The bottled water was a little expensive at $3 per bottle, but it's cheaper than the theme parks which were charging $5 per bottle. There's a nice bottle refill feature at both of the hotels water fountains (indoors by the elevator abc outside by the pool) which we found convenient and economical, plus the water tastes good and comes out cold! There's a really lovely pool with a walk in entry that features little fountain jets in the shallow area that are perfect for the little ones to splash and play. One word of caution, it doesn't appear to be heated and at Thanksgiving when we went, it was quite cold. During a hot day it was refreshing. At night it's really too cold. But that's not a problem because there are also fire pits adjacent to the bar area where you can relax and warm up. Staff are friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. They were able to answer every question, provide a solution to every need and generally went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was almost as if we were visiting family! A wonderful experience, we will definitely be back!

Yelp
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt House on 4/28/21. Everything was brand new and very clean. Anytime that we needed towels, they would always provide with extra. Staff was extremely friendly. I think my only complaint would be the "to-go" breakfast, I wish they had more options. I get it was included and during Covid, but I think they could have spent more time and effort on doing something different with it. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Rooms were neat and clean at first glance. The cleaners did leave behind someone else's dirty socks on a lower shelf in the bathroom. Other than that, the place was great. Very friendly staff. The pool was beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect room with the bunks, as we were traveling with our kids.
google avatar

Nereida R.

Yelp
We are still here, able to use bus shuttle service to Universal Studios, enjoying their full breakfast and service. Front desk is courteous, and prompt. I needed two bath items in our room and they delivered within the hour. Rooms are spacious and clean. No Housekeeping unless requested. We're not here for very long and that is fine by me. It's close enough to walk to parks. Near places to eat. I definitely recommend staying here on your visit. We plan on returning.

Yelp
The hotel has a new appearance - and their prices reflect that- however, the breakfasts were very bland and mediocre - dry waffles, very dry potatoes, and watery eggs, not to mention the horrible coffee :( I wish it wasnt so, but it's the truth, only good thing was the toast you make yourself. :( The pool looks nice but we were so busy we never used it which was normal for most guests because it was always empty other than 1 kid sometimes during our stay. ***Worst Issue***: Clothes went missing from our room!!! This is why were rating 1 Star- we called down and even spoke with front desk about my wife's missing pants which we're either stolen by housekeeping or picked up accidentally with laundry from room - and when I asked them to check, they took an hour to check and then I had to call back twice- they were very apathetic and didn't really seem to care we had things missing from our room. That's a really bad management sign for any hotel. Never had things missing from our hotel room before !!! FIND A DIFFERENT HOTEL!!! STAY AWAY! There's a ton of choices here in Orlando- choose somewhere better!

Chuck T.

Yelp
This hotel is absolutely one of the best. Front desk went out of their way to make our stay so easy and comfortable especially Naomi, a true professional with a great attitude. This hotel has a excellent breakfast and changed daily. Also the cleanliness is exceptional, the kitchen help were always cleaning the tables and wiping down the food stations. Spotless!! Also we're do you see Managers (Kim Jackson & Nina Shirk) asking the guest how their stay was going and if they needed anything. Great managers and staff make this hotel a place we will always come back to. Thanks Team

Yelp
My colleagues stayed in the Hyatt Place on the same property. They complained of mold and old furnishings. I had a completely different experience. Even prior to arriving, I shipped many boxes to the hotel for a conference. All boxes were accounted for and waiting for me upon my arrival. The lobby is light and airy. The hotel staff are courteous. The breakfast has a nice option of items to select from. The main attraction was the room. The kitchen area is sleek and modern along with a comfortable seating area. I travel often for work and I can't remember when I had such a pleasant 3 night stay. Thank you Hyatt House!

Terenti S.

Yelp
Overall a very nice place and convenient to Universal. My only downfall was the birds around the pool deck landing and taking food from plate. I saw a few flying into the breakfast area.

Dana T.

Yelp
LOVED my stay! I have been traveling during COVID and this was my absolute favorite hotel stay I have had - better than my hotel stay in Vegas! Super convenient and 7 minutes if that from universal, they have a shuttle that runs from 7am to 11pm. It wasn't crowded, they have a little shop downstairs (toothbrush hair care etc) SUPER CLEAN and updated decor. Bed was so beyond comfortable, one of the few hotels that actually have house keeping come in and clean. Loved the shower and bathroom mirror, they serve breakfast as well. Really enjoyed my stay here great job to the house keeping staff for working so hard during COVID and making things clean. I will be back

Yelp
My family had a great time staying at this hotel. Excellent service from the moment you step in. Kim was very helpful and exceeded my expectations. Hotel is the perfect location if your traveling to universal studios, especially with kids. Clean hotel, nice pool area, spacious rooms, affordable, and free breakfast. Thanks Hyatt Orlando!

Yelp
I've stayed at the Hyatt House multiple times. Love the Hyatt House in Seattle and Denver. Since I am a member, I've decided to stay at the Hyatt House across from Universal Studio Orlando. I feel very disappointed. I found hair on the blanket and sheets, small piece of bacon on the sofa and the hallway to my room was just very dirty and full of guess' trays and bags of used towels. Overall cleanliness of the room was poor. I can't believe it specially with covid. I notified front desk and nothing was done. Never coming back to this place again.

Yelp
Great new hotel in Orlando - this Hyatt House opened in June 2018. I'm a globalist and have not stayed at a Hyatt House before and didn't know what to expect, but this hotel is beautiful, modern and spacious in the communal areas. Lots of light, windows and high ceilings. The rooms are lovely and chock full of great efficiencies - storage areas, hooks, and shelves. The kitchettes have everything you'd need for a lengthy stay including stove, fridge and dishwasher. The free breakfast is about the same as a Hyatt Place. But the restaurant/bar food offerings are quiet good with a great beer and wine selection. If you visit Orlando often and you're just going for a couple of days, you should experience this new Hyatt House! Oh, I forgot to mention, the staff is great. Professional, friendly and take care of requests immediately.

Yelp
Room was supposed to be ready at 3...I'm still in the lobby waiting for my room. It's the weekend before New Years in ORLANDO, maybe you should have more than one person working in this entire hotel. So glad I paid $300+ for a suite I can't even get into. Oh and they charged the wrong card after telling us they could change it. NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN! **Update: After about another hour they "upgraded" me to a suite with 2 queens, a kitchen and a living room. I just wanted a big bed and the bathroom is disappointing.

Yelp
We checked in yesterday and unfortunately we did not see the blood on the comforter until this morning. When I brought it to the attention of the guy at the front counter he tried to tell me it was just rust. I then showed him this picture and he didn't disagree with me but also didn't seem to care. Would have been nice to hear an apology or an offer to make things right. Blood on a comforter is disgusting they need to be more careful when preparing the rooms for guests. We checked out early not that anyone cared. We booked through Hotels.com so they had already been paid. Also I had to call last night for linens for the pull out couch and it took an hour and second call to the front desk to get them. After a long day no one wants to wait an hour to get their "bed" ready. I wanted to be happy with this hotel the location was good for what we were doing and it looks nice they just need to get more conscientious employees that take pride in their work.

Yelp
Very nice modern hotel with excellent transportation to Universal Studios. Room was clean. Nice pool and well thought out attractive breakfast area. Jorge was especially customer focused resolving a logistical issue. Would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
We have had an amazing experience here. It started with a phone conversation with JoAnne, who not only said we could check in early, but recommended ride share over Taxi. We then got to meet her in person, and see her amazing self daily. We also love the bar, we started with a drink and a swim, but decided to hang out with Malik here after we were done at the theme parks. He had been awesome. This hotel has a wonderful staff, and a surprisingly great breakfast daily. They have made our vacation that much extra. Thank you JoAnne, Malik, and everyone behind the scenes .

Yelp
We got to the room and there was a really bad smell, so we opens the fridge and there was two sacks of completely rotten food, I talked to the manager about it and she literally made it sound like it wasent a big deal and they just over looked it, I felt like our room was dirty after that, it was literally the most disgusting thing I have ever seen or smelled in a hotel room. I asked one of the workers the next day if we could switch rooms and she said I would have to pay an upgrade. I'm shocked they didn't do anything for us after that Also, during the middle of the night our car rental car was hit by another car and no one left a note. We asked for video footage of the parking lot and for some reason they didn't have it. The rooms where also very humid. Will not be going back.

Yelp
After a BAD experience at a nearby hotel, my husband and I immediately booked a room at the Hyatt House. We are SO happy we did. We walked in stressed out and frustrated at nearly 2 am, and they were able to check us in immediately. The rooms are spacious and most importantly, they're CLEAN. This place has a pretty elaborate breakfast in the morning which was a huge plus because we had long, tiring days ahead of us. We were also told that they are renovating their rooms soon. A few things we liked about this place: - Free breakfast (delicious) - Shuttles to the Universal Parks - Business office (I was able to print things out and the concierge went out of her way to look for ink for thumbprints) - Courteous, kind staff members - Close to major attractions - Noon check out A big thanks to the Hyatt staff who made our stay comfortable and memorable! We will be back!

Yelp
Stayed for two-nights recently mid-January. Easy parking, check-in & check-out were very efficient; cordial staff, rooms spacious and very clean. Decent breakfast. Thank you!

Yelp
Awesome! Nicest and one of the closest non-Universal brand, yet a Universal Partner hotel to Universal properties. Entrance to CityWalk, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure is a easy 20 min walk from the Hyatt, if the free shuttles are full or you didn't pre-sign up in time. The Universal Orlando Parks are all grouped together and entrances are near each other, so you really can't get lost-there are plenty of signs or just use Google walking directions. Definitely recommend taking the free shuttle during the hot times or you will melt, drivers were nice and busses were air conditioned!! To be honest, I spent endless hours trying to find the best hotel package. I really wanted the early access the Universal Hotels offer, but after finding out Hagrids Motorcycle ride opens late sometimes- it really wasn't worth getting in early, especially after you add up all the additional hidden fees including their nightly parking fees and resort fees. It may be worth staying at a Universal Property hotel if you have extra days to hang at those pools, but if you are doing a quick trip and you won't use them don't waste money-Free parking is huge!!-stay at the Hyatt House!!! I will definitely stay here again! -Breakfast is good, pool and lounge are fairly busy at night. All staff were really friendly and accommodating. Hotel had a upscale feel and beds were super comfy!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, great location. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Breakfast left something to be desired but that seems to be normal for hotel breakfast food. Would definitely stay again!

Yelp
This hotel is a must stay in Orlando, the staff is excellent and they want to make your stay enjoyable. I had a small problem and they got right on it. I recommend this hotel when you're in Orlando.

Yelp
Wow- I cant believe the last review. Just because you lost a pair of pants your going to ruin their reviews? Place is awesome. Great home feel. Very good staff and awesome breakfast. Yes it is busy at times as everyone is rushing to get to the parks but the breakfast is as good as any you can find in a hotel. Also free The bar is great had an amazing flatbread made like a Ruben. The beer selection is great and the bartenders Andrew, Malik and Samantha make you feel at home. Try a margarita poolside!! The pool was clean but it was cold the day we were in it but I can't see it being a great relaxing place to be. Fire pits at night with a glass of wine is great. Rooms clean and new with everything you need Had a wonderful stay---

Yelp
I stayed 3 nights for Universal Halloween Horror Nights and I loved it. I can't believe I even considered staying on Universal property for $1K. I booked my room for just over 1/4 of the price. I stayed in a Deluxe Suite with a fully equipped kitchen, 3 flat screen TVs. The room was not only beautiful but clean. You would think with the hoards of "Disney families" that visit it would be chaotic, but it was clean and peaceful. The staff are extraordinary. Kudos to the cleaning team because they kept our room pristine throughout our stay. Breakfast is free but unfortunately we never partook because we'd wake up extremely late from a long night. When they say across from Universal, it's literally across from Universal. When we were waiting for our Uber, at the pick up area, we could see Hyatt House. They have a free shuttle service for guests to Universal and SeaWorld. If you're staying for Universal this is a great hotel,
