Great place to base a NYC visit. The PATH train is literally at the front door of the hotel. The parking garage is too. The staff is courteous and helpful. The elevators are a little slow. It would be helpful if the rear elevator ran at all hours (it was randomly closed at different times while we were there). Our double queen room with city view was as advertised with an incredible view. The free breakfast was on par with hotel breakfasts—nothing award winning but it did the trick.

Great hotel. It's a converted old bank and has many charming vintage garnishes. Location is fabulous. A two-minute walk to the PATH subway station and the next stop is World Trade Center on the New York side of the Hudson. It was so convenient to have that station so close. Hotel was very clean and nice. The breakfast buffet was great, too. Always hot food like scrambled eggs and sausage, but you also got "daily" varieties like pancakes and french toast. Breakfast location was at the terrace on the 12th floor so the view of New York was breathtaking! Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave. Walk-in shower was amazing. Really nice room-darkening full window shade made it nice and dark even in the morning.

The hotel is nice — the rooms were comfortable, and it had a great shower. It was conveniently located. But… the service was very disappointing. We booked two rooms together on one reservation months before our trip (one for us, one for our teen daughters), and they couldn’t manage to put us on the same floor. The guy at the desk was pretty smarmy about it. When I finally relented and accepted they’d be on a different floor, he apparently gave us the worst room in the building. Our room overlooked both the lobby (constant noise all night) and the train stop (too much noise starting too early).

The complementary breakfast was horrific. Loved the variety, but everything from the waffles, eggs, fruits, even the oatmeal was bad. The rooms are nice, but the walls were thin. I could hear my everything neighbor did from talking on the phone to a sneeze. I don’t think he was loud; just poor sound proofing. However, I had a connecting room, so maybe it was just this particular build. Beyond that, the restaurant/rooftop is nice and the hotel staff were so kind and helpful. The location is right next to the Path, and they offer a discounted parking voucher for parking next-door.

Not a place for light sleeper. My room is facing the light rail station and It’s 12:45am Saturday. The light rail keeps making ringing noise and occasional bikers making loud noise. Other than that it is a standard room. Clean. Great location for PATH. I stayed at Hyatt regency at Jc before but maybe because it’s far away from the light rail I did not have this kind of noise problem at night The view for the morning breakfast was great. Also on the Hyatt app, I got notification that it was available for early check in but when I got in, the front desk told me I had to pay for the early check in. I was not asked to pay for early check in at other Hyatt properties so I am not sure what this was

Spent 3 nights here before our cruise. The staff were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was very good with different options on different days. My only complaint is the laundry is coin operated and there is no change machine in the laundry room. The front desk was happy to exchange our bills though so wasn’t really an issue.

They play at being a luxury hotel but they don't have one elevator out of three. The view from the roof is useless until 4.00pm because you can't get to the roof. Check-in was delayed by an hour! This was very inconvenient for me as I had a bus to a wedding in a while. They should get their staff in order, they have a terrible mess. Rooms clean.

ATTENTION: Anyone traveling with family, friends, co-workers, older children, someone that you don't want to see you naked. The bathroom doors are sliding glass frosted to the absolute minimum. It's the equivalent of blurring someone's face on a photo. You can still see everything, but the details are obscured. The shower door is directly behind the sliding glass, so there is no avoiding it. The toilet is close enough they can see your knees through the glass. As a bonus, since it's a sliding door, there are gaps on all 4 sides, so everything you do on said toilet can be heard by everyone in the room. Everything else about this is hotel is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Its clean. You can see the subway entrance from the hotel and you can be in the world trade center terminal in less than 10min. Whoever made this design choice should be forced to spend a week in one of these rooms with their inlaws. Edit: Looking at the review pictures, not all rooms are like this. Our bathroom was in full view from both beds and the couch. Room 1217. We requested a room change but we're told no others were available.
