ATTENTION: Anyone traveling with family, friends, co-workers, older children, someone that you don't want to see you naked. The bathroom doors are sliding glass frosted to the absolute minimum.
It's the equivalent of blurring someone's face on a photo. You can still see everything, but the details are obscured.
The shower door is directly behind the sliding glass, so there is no avoiding it. The toilet is close enough they can see your knees through the glass. As a bonus, since it's a sliding door, there are gaps on all 4 sides, so everything you do on said toilet can be heard by everyone in the room.
Everything else about this is hotel is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Its clean. You can see the subway entrance from the hotel and you can be in the world trade center terminal in less than 10min.
Whoever made this design choice should be forced to spend a week in one of these rooms with their inlaws.
Edit: Looking at the review pictures, not all rooms are like this. Our bathroom was in full view from both beds and the couch. Room 1217. We requested a room change but we're told no others were available.
