"A clean, comfortable three-star option next to Vanderbilt, Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt has spacious rooms with blackout curtains to ensure good sleep, a seasonal outdoor pool, free breakfast, and feels like a standard, good-value Hyatt property I like." - Matthew Kepnes

I had a great stay at the Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt. I booked a King Bed Studio Kitchen Suite, and it was absolutely worth it - clean, comfortable, and perfect for settling in after long days out in the city. The staff were incredibly friendly the entire time, and the whole place felt well taken care of. Breakfast deserves its own shoutout. They've got options for pretty much everyone, and the food was actually good - good enough that I went back for a second plate without hesitation. The only small issue I ran into was being on the top floor in a corner room. When the wind kicked up outside, the pressure changes traveled through the HVAC vent and caused the entry door to lightly knock back and forth at night. Not a major problem - I just propped a chair against it to keep it steady - but it's worth mentioning in case maintenance can tighten that up. Other than that, everything was solid, and this is definitely my go-to spot for future Nashville trips.

The hotels downtown were so expensive, so I found this more reasonable alternative just a few minutes away from the craziness. It was a great choice. Katelyn at the front desk was amazing in stowing my luggage and explaining my options when I arrived far too early for checkin. The restaurant menu isn’t vast, but the food is good, and there was live music one of the evenings. Breakfast is set up nicely, not crowded, and has plenty of options. Because the hotel is set back a block from the main road, it’s quiet, and even rooms facing the busy road have very little noise (an occasional emergency vehicle can be heard). There are many restaurants within walking distance, and there’s a bus stop just a block away. The room and its amenities were comfortable and logical. The only (very minor) downside I came up with was that there is only ice on the 5th and 14th floors, and you need a physical key to operate the elevator. Great stay, highly recommended. I didn’t have a car, so I used Uber and the bus to get around, with friendly service each time.

The food at H bar was delicious!!! Bartender was a gem..my husband is disabled and the staff began assisting me as soon as they saw us struggling. They upgraded our room from a tub to a walk in shower. The entertainment was BRETT FROMSON!!! MAN DID HE EVER SHOW THAT GUIATR WHO WAS THE BOSS!!. What a gifted musician BRETT is. Absolutely perfect experience !!! Felt very blessed and restored my faith in humanity!!. Highly recommend.

We stayed recently and overall the room was clean and nicely appointed. The mattress was medium-firm — not too soft but not very firm either — which may suit some guests but could be a matter of personal preference.||||A few downsides: our room wasn’t ready at the 4:00 pm check-in time and we ended up waiting about 45 minutes, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. Parking was also a bit awkward — spaces are limited and the hotel name isn’t posted in the parking garage, so it was confusing to find where to park.||||On a positive note, we accidentally left a pair of EarPods behind and assumed they were gone for good. I called the hotel and housekeeping had turned them in to the front desk — a nice reminder that there are still honest people around. Overall, a good stay if you prioritize a clean room, but the hotel should improve check-in punctuality and parking signage.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were really nice also. The room had a full kitchen, sofa, TV that swiveled. Bathroom was really nice also. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly. ||You did have to uber to broadway would be nice if they had a shuttle. Hotel was really nice, oh and they had a bar which open every night.

The free hot breakfast was amazing! I think it's the best I have ever had, and there was tons and tons of food. The suite room was spacious and well equipped (full fridge and freezer, dishes, silverware, plenty of couch seating, and the bed was nicely cushioned). It felt safe here and it's an easy ride to other parts of the city without the chaos of downtown traffic.

Hotel is great for concerts in the area. The bathrooms could’ve been designed better as the shower doesn’t really keep water in and there is no bathroom fans. The rooms are spacious with great views of downtown. Heads up parking is $38 a night. You will pay upfront including a room deposit. For 2 nights it was $153 in total for parking and room deposit on top of the nightly room fee. Free breakfast with a nice bar and restaurant across from the lobby.

At the time I booked this hotel, the price was a bit lower than comparable options in the area and a decent free breakfast was helpful. Parking was a significant added expense but that is usually the case with hotels. I had no issues, the hotel and room were clean and staff were friendly.
