The hotels downtown were so expensive, so I found this more reasonable alternative just a few minutes away from the craziness. It was a great choice. Katelyn at the front desk was amazing in stowing my luggage and explaining my options when I arrived far too early for checkin. The restaurant menu isn’t vast, but the food is good, and there was live music one of the evenings. Breakfast is set up nicely, not crowded, and has plenty of options. Because the hotel is set back a block from the main road, it’s quiet, and even rooms facing the busy road have very little noise (an occasional emergency vehicle can be heard). There are many restaurants within walking distance, and there’s a bus stop just a block away. The room and its amenities were comfortable and logical. The only (very minor) downside I came up with was that there is only ice on the 5th and 14th floors, and you need a physical key to operate the elevator. Great stay, highly recommended. I didn’t have a car, so I used Uber and the bus to get around, with friendly service each time.
