This is a very nice hotel right in downtown Nashville. I had a room on the top floor overlooking the entire downtown and the night views were incredible. Very friendly people at the front desk. I highly recommend this hotel. They have six Tesla electric vehicle charging stations in the parking lot that work perfectly. 39 cents per kilowatt hour is the cost.

Google
The hotels downtown were so expensive, so I found this more reasonable alternative just a few minutes away from the craziness. It was a great choice. Katelyn at the front desk was amazing in stowing my luggage and explaining my options when I arrived far too early for checkin. The restaurant menu isn’t vast, but the food is good, and there was live music one of the evenings. Breakfast is set up nicely, not crowded, and has plenty of options. Because the hotel is set back a block from the main road, it’s quiet, and even rooms facing the busy road have very little noise (an occasional emergency vehicle can be heard). There are many restaurants within walking distance, and there’s a bus stop just a block away. The room and its amenities were comfortable and logical. The only (very minor) downside I came up with was that there is only ice on the 5th and 14th floors, and you need a physical key to operate the elevator. Great stay, highly recommended. I didn’t have a car, so I used Uber and the bus to get around, with friendly service each time.

The location is good and not so good. Quiet a ways from the downtown area so you'll have to drive or catch a ride if you want to stroll Broadway but good in the sense that its quieter once you are done with the rowdy night life. The small dinner eating area is very expensive so better to experience some fine dining out and about the Nashville area. The rooms are very nice and clean.

Google
I had a great stay at the Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt. I booked a King Bed Studio Kitchen Suite, and it was absolutely worth it - clean, comfortable, and perfect for settling in after long days out in the city. The staff were incredibly friendly the entire time, and the whole place felt well taken care of. Breakfast deserves its own shoutout. They've got options for pretty much everyone, and the food was actually good - good enough that I went back for a second plate without hesitation. The only small issue I ran into was being on the top floor in a corner room. When the wind kicked up outside, the pressure changes traveled through the HVAC vent and caused the entry door to lightly knock back and forth at night. Not a major problem - I just propped a chair against it to keep it steady - but it's worth mentioning in case maintenance can tighten that up. Other than that, everything was solid, and this is definitely my go-to spot for future Nashville trips.

Google
The food at H bar was delicious!!! Bartender was a gem..my husband is disabled and the staff began assisting me as soon as they saw us struggling. They upgraded our room from a tub to a walk in shower. The entertainment was BRETT FROMSON!!! MAN DID HE EVER SHOW THAT GUIATR WHO WAS THE BOSS!!. What a gifted musician BRETT is. Absolutely perfect experience !!! Felt very blessed and restored my faith in humanity!!. Highly recommend.

Google
The free hot breakfast was amazing! I think it's the best I have ever had, and there was tons and tons of food. The suite room was spacious and well equipped (full fridge and freezer, dishes, silverware, plenty of couch seating, and the bed was nicely cushioned). It felt safe here and it's an easy ride to other parts of the city without the chaos of downtown traffic.

I've been in town 5x's w/I a year now. Im very impressed w/ the Staff @ the Hyatt House Vanderbilt. Being away from Broadway I needed direction as to where Martin's was on Elliston Place. Katelyn, Shira, Maria, Shira & youre entire staff made me feel at home w/ Care & precision directions. I am blessed & am hopeful to see you all again. Thank You for making my stay @ The Hyatt House Vanderbilt a successful 5 day visit.

Google
Hotel is great for concerts in the area. The bathrooms could’ve been designed better as the shower doesn’t really keep water in and there is no bathroom fans. The rooms are spacious with great views of downtown. Heads up parking is $38 a night. You will pay upfront including a room deposit. For 2 nights it was $153 in total for parking and room deposit on top of the nightly room fee. Free breakfast with a nice bar and restaurant across from the lobby.

Yelp
This hotel was a really nice surprise as I wasn't expecting a lot given that their rate was actually fair whereas literally every other decent hotel in the area was upwards of $400/night (later came to find out there was a Christian music awards show in town). Also, I am not familiar with the various Hyatt properties so I figured this would be the equivalent of a Marriott Residence Inn. Instead, I had a really great experience, with the friendliest front desk staff, a large room with a small kitchen, comfy bed and spacious bathroom. The location is excellent, right off West End, walking distance to excellent locally-owned coffee shops near Vanderbilt. I'm very big on walking but Nashville is surprisingly not much of a walkable city. This area is full of students and I didn't feel weird walking half a mile or so in the vicinity... until I got to Charlotte Avenue but that's another story. While not as kitschy/cool as the nearby Graduate nor as posh as the Hutton nor as trendy as the Virgin, you'll have a great stay at Hyatt House and it won't break the bank. Nashville has become so impossibly expensive. I'll definitely add it to my list of preferred properties when visiting Nashville for work or pleasure.

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay here. What made it extra great was the bartender at the hotel Vincent. We came down for happy hour and when I asked for a drink with lemonade they didn't have any so he made fresh lemonade for my drink. Little things go a long way! He was friendly attentive and even when it was super busy he remembered to check on us. The next day and after if he would see us he remembered our names. The front staff was great very helpful easy check in and out. The rooms are large it almost feels like you have your own apartment with a large island coming in, kitchenette, and large separate living room area. The gym was great enough equipment for a quick workout and they have a peloton which was a great addition. The ice not being on our floor was a bit of bummer and they do not have a hot tub which I usually need as a must. There is a lot of parking but the day we arrived one of the other guest told us they had had a multiple car break in so that was a bit concerning as we were picking up the rental the next day. No issues with our stay and parking. The hotel was close and far away from downtown as we wanted to be not a bad uber to and from places. Would stay here again great space and location for us.

Yelp
Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt was a nice, clean and budget-friendly hotel right next to Vanderbilt University. We stayed in a King with a kitchen suite and the microwave, dishes, and stove were all conveniently available to use. It was simple to cook some basic meals, and I appreciated all of the cooking utensils available as well as dishwasher tablets, and more. The location is very walkable to the Gulch, Vandy, Midtown, and Centennial Park. I would recommend this as a clean, economy hotel option downtown.

Yelp
Easy to check in. Also, free breakfast. Basic, but good. Evening live guitarist and happy hour. Pool is outside, not very deep though. A/C is tops. Nice suite with kitchen. Would come again.

Yelp
The hotel is very clean, free breakfast, room is mostly in very good condition with exception to the sofa which has what looks like sweat stain. You get different types of pillow for your sleeping styles which is great. The one largest con is the stream of smokers hanging out in the outdoor patio area even though there are no smoking signs everywhere. They either throw the cigarette butts on the floor or in the garbage can which is a fire hazard. The staff doesnt seem to do anything about it.

Kathy S.

Yelp
The Hotel was less than stellar and had a rank smell in the hallway. The H bar food was terrible and the first bartender "Oldy" was inattentive and rude. He spent more time away from the bar eating and on FaceTime. To the extent he even had FaceTime up at the register and I could have had a conversation with the person myself. On a positive note the breakfast and service help during breakfast was great. And the second bartender "Vincent" on our last night was great as well. Very attentive and great personality. first impressions matter. I would not stay here again

Yelp
Good location with proximity to Downtown Broadway - an easy $10 Uber or Lyft ride away. Breakfast area and bar available. Parking is $39 plus fees per night but very secure. Rooms are clean and spacious. Amenities such as complimentary breakfast and parking were excellent (Travelzoo Deal). A water fill station was also provided. The fact that the hotel only cleans your room on the 4th night of your stay is absurd! We had to call for extra towels, incidentals, etc. Covid is over and this excuse not to clean rooms is simply unacceptable.

Yelp
Customer Service is not ideal at this Hyatt. Also, called on 6/6/25 after my stay to inquire about a lost item, I feel like I was speaking another language other than English because not one, but 3 different front desk operators kept picking up the phone receiver and putting me on hold, this happened for about an hour until finally someone was able to answer my lost item inquiry. Overall the hotel needs some maintenance to their bathrooms, thye kept running water they also need to replace the TVs, we had to move to another room on our second day because the TV went out, we like watching TV after a daylong of site seeing.

Yelp
There is good and bad. BAD: Absolutely terrible first impression. Check in was allowed at 2pm. I arrived at 10am Reception told me the good news - my room was ready!! Followed by but... if I wanted to check in before 2pm it would cost me $50. I was immediately turned off and I had a bad taste in my mouth the whole stay. Also, when it was raining I asked for a hotel umbrella. When I walked out of the hotel and opened it, it was broken. I walked back in and told the front desk worker who gave it to me that it was broken. She said "is it?" in a nasty accusing way. BAD: - Breakfast was from 7am to 10am but if you arrived after 8:30, a lot of the food/beverage options were gone - and were never replaced. On one day, this even included coffee. GOOD: The room was clean, spacious and nice. The bathroom was modern. The lobby is pretty. There is an outdoor swimming pool. There is a nice looking bar but since I didn't want to spend any additional money at this hotel, I did not hang out there. There are a lot of options in Nashville. I would not stay here again based on first impression.

Yelp
Stayed here for a couple of nights. Had a good experience! Very quiet room, clean, had a mini kitchen. Room was very big and huge. My stay also came with breakfast which was delicious. Totally recommend this place!!!

Yelp
Was expecting much more from the Hyatt. The room we had had a mirror by the front door, which looked as if someone punched it, the glass was broken, but taped with packing tape to keep it from falling out. There was dried blood on the bathroom door, and the walls were dirty. The sink where overflow holes are in bathroom had black mold. The swimming pool had gunk on one side of the pool on the tiles, but water was clean. Carpets in hallways were dirty and loose Pros: two burner stovetop with plenty of dishes/cookware/silverware, microwave, mini fridge. Staff was friendly, free shuttle van for 2 mile radius. Had a bar with live music Wednesday through Saturday.

Michael T.

Yelp
Randomly got stuck in the elevator while on a business trip with my wife- Dec 14,2024 ( we were also going to celebrate her birthday). The hotel mechanic tried to get me out by asking me( I'm not a small guy- 6'7" )to slide out and through a narrow opening, which felt very unsafe. What's worse, this wasn't a small inconvenience and no meaningful attempt at service recovery was done. They asked if I wanted lunch at the lobby bar.... Quite insulting to say the least. We wrote a letter to their customer affairs/consumer affairs with NO response. If anyone knows who else I should contact, please let me know M Thrasher

Sap T.

Yelp
An overall amazing experience. The place is clean, quiet, and accommodating! The staff's were all helpful and friendly. I would 100/10 recommend

Susan S.

Yelp
I am not sure where to start. Front desk girls were very unprofessional and rude. Stayed for 2 night and came back home with back pain due to their sinking uncomfortable mattress! H bar stands for Horrible bar. Bad quality of food and Very bad customer service! Please don't waste your money!

Yelp
Okay, going to be honest. My track record with booking hotels is not the best. And when I mean not the best, I mean absolutely awful. So I was shocked when my husband said it was up to me to book our hotel for Nashville. Okay babe, careful what you wish for... To both our surprises, I booked a pretty good spot! After looking at hotels online for hours, I settled on Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt. This hotel is near the university which is pretty nice. I mean, we don't have buildings like this in Vegas. The are surrounding isn't too bad. We even walked a couple days to go grab food nearby (Hattie B's is within walking distance). Checking in was really easy. The hotel is clean and nice and I want to say about 20 minutes from the airport and a 10 minute Lyft ride to Broadway, which is really why we selected it. The staff here was so welcoming. Our room was really nice and clean. I wish I had pictures of it before but since we had an early flight we were happy to check in to our room and just relax for a bit. Because of Covid, we didn't have anyone cleaning our rooms throughout but any time we called for more towels or something it was never an issue. They also have a little conscience store in the lobby where you can purchase snacks and whatnot. Our stay was really pleasant and nice. Every time we had a run in with staff, they were soooo friendly. One girl kept telling me she loooved my outfit and I just thought that was so sweet. That southern charm! On our last day our flight was much later but we had to check out of the hotel. We asked if we could leave our luggage for the day and they held it for us without charge which I thought was really nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel in Nashville. Beautiful and clean room and the staff is outstanding!

Jackson H.

Yelp
If your rooms are Infested with bed bugs, maybe shut down and get it taken care of instead of letting people stay there. So gross
google avatar

Kathy E.

Yelp
It was nice. They need to update their information. There was no shuttle. One of the reasons I picked this hotel. The hotel isn't too far from Broadway and seems to be around a lot of good restaurants. The room was clean. The kitchen was nice. It served its purpose. Nothing overwhelming. A decent place to lay your head. The continental breakfast.... is basic. I felt like for the price of the stay it should've been a little bit better. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good. Their coffee station was lacking. Definitely needed some flavored creamer. If I come back, I probably wouldn't stay here again. Not because it wasn't ok. I just felt like for the price and daily charge to park..... things could've been better.

Yelp
A nice place to stay near Vanderbilt, with some (minor) concessions. We would stay here again. For the details, I'll do this like a debate, with Pro and Con to give both sides: Pro: Nice room, roomy and clean with good shower and water pressure. Our upgraded room had a small kitchenette, with a dishwasher if you are going to tailgate there on a game day. Breakfast until 10 on weekends. Staff are pleasant There is a downstairs bar and cafe where you can order sandwiches if you are stuck there in a rainy night. There is a shuttle you can call when you need it up until 9:45 at night if you want to go somewhere within a 2-mile radius. Fortunately Vanderbilt Stadium is within walking distance if you can walk half a mile. Con: 1.It is difficult to get in to the hotel when checking in - First you have to go up into the very, very tight parking garage before you check in. Then getting a cart afterward to unload is a chore. Loading to leave is also tight. 2. Breakfast should stay open til 10 during the week and they definitely should have coffee available after breakfast. . They don't leave coffee out after that breakfast for refills even on weekends! 3. The shuttle will only take you within 2 miles of the hotel and it closes at 9:45 at night ! That will get you to Vanderbilt, but not to or from the airport. Otherwise it's a very nice place to stay near Vanderbilt for games.

Brooke S.

Yelp
Cannot say enough great things about this hotel and it's staff. We arrived early on Wednesday (around 9:30 am) and weren't expecting to be able to check in until 3 pm. They let us check in early and upgraded us to a Suite with a full kitchen. Everyone was very friendly, the room was spacious for 3 of us and clean. Great location to Uber to Broadway or anywhere you want to go. Highly recommend and thank you for making our girls trip a fantastic one!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my time at this Hyatt House. The building seems pretty new and the suite I stayed in was very spacious and had everything I needed and more. The kitchen had pots and pans, plates, bowls utensils, etc. Breakfast is free and had a lot of options including and omelet bar and there was plenty of dining space for breakfast as well. The attendants at the front desk were very nice and helpful throughout my stay and they have a free shuttle service that I didn't get a chance to use but was nice in theory. The only two cons I have is that when I first arrived, my room wasn't ready (which is fine since I came before check-in time). But it took so long for the room to be ready when it sounded like it should be very quick. If I had known, I would have just left my bags to go out to grab a late lunch but instead we waited almost 30-45 minutes and by the time we got the room it was already a little past the normal check-in time. Usually if I try to check-in early and it takes more than 5-10 minutes the hotel will just let me know and say they will call me. Instead my friend and I waited quite a while in the lobby and then different people assisted and I didn't really get the full list of amenities (I'm guessing because they assumed the other person told me). For example I only knew about the shuttle because I overheard them telling another guest. The other con was that on Monday morning, the housekeeping was a bit loud and I was woken up by constant doors banging shut outside and loud voices. While it was a little later in the morning around 9 or 10 AM, it was a bit excessive. Otherwise though, the building was nice and clean, the location was great with a lot of great food options just a short walk away and the staff very helpful.

Yelp
It's hard to give a business a perfect rating. There are two things that Hyatt house really needs to address. First is breakfast. The eggs, ham, potatoes are the same low quality fare you would get at any Comfort Inn, they taste like water and the package they came in. This quality does not live up to the price and brand of this hotel. The only other issue was no parking for vehicles with bike rack or high clearance, and this was not communicated well at booking. Really these issues were not a big deal. The reason is the amazing staff! They have a 5 staff. Especially two people stood out. Martina Yakoub is an amazing asset. She helped me get safe secure parking and was a pleasure. Merna Labib helped with watching my luggage while I searched for my keys. Every staff member I had contact with went out of their way to make me feel at home.

Yelp
Well located, comfortable, clean. It has a full kitchen , gym, pool, bar/restaurant, and ok hot breakfast. Great storage and views of downtown.
google avatar

Jared M.

Yelp
Solid 4.25/5 from me here. - Arriving was pretty easy. Your GPS may get you there but just remember to Valet its in front and not in the garage - Check-in was smooth and the staff were nice upon our arrival - Room was clean and organized with no items that would be expected to be in the kitchen or bathroom were missing - The breakfast was lots of the items you would expect: fruit, oatmeal, cereal, toast, waffles, eggs, omelets, etc. - As far as proximity there are several places nearby - the shuttle will go as far as two miles for dropoff, one mile for pickup. you can do a lot with that! Will be back!

Yelp
Getting married or having a big group in Nashville? This is the place. The hospitality was on another level. Not only did they make everything perfect for all the guests for our wedding, but they made accommodations to keep the bar open for our group, handled delivery of all the guest gifts to the rooms and supported all our wedding weekend needs. Also, being just a $7 Uber to just about anywhere you need to be, along with plenty of walkable places to eat (including the world famous, Hattie B's) makes the location convenient. I wouldn't normally write a review for a hotel, but they truly went above and beyond and we had guests raving about the service here. Thanks for supporting our group of over 100, it was perfect!

Yelp
Excellent hotel! Not only would I stay here again, now I'll look for Hyatt Houses when I need another hotel. I loved the look and feel of this property. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was well equipped, comfy, and quiet. The breakfast was a nice touch too. The coffee was meh, but standard for restaurant grade coffee. They recommended an excellent coffee shot down the street that did the trick. 100% recommend!

Billy W.

Yelp
Had a four night stay but left after one night. Stains on floors and dirty walls inside the room. Left on a Friday night and on Saturday there was a murder on the side street. If you are on a budget this one might be for you.

Yelp
A great property walking distance from a lot of attractions. The hotel was clean and the customer service was top notch. I will definitely stay there again.

Julie C.

Yelp
Very friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff has been amazing the 2 times we have stayed there.

Chelle L.

Yelp
Garett at the front desk was so professional, understanding, and flexible. Much appreciate the kindness! Thank you for making our trip even better!

Yelp
Absolutely loved this hotel and we stayed at a few different hotels during our trip. Staff was so friendly and gave us tons of local restaurant suggestion, always happy to help. Rooms were spacious and felt like home, clean, very comfortable bed. And loved the outdoor pool. I t's further away from downtown, but about a 20 minute walk to The Gulch area and preferred those restaurant better than downtown Nashville anyway - good spot away from the city but still close to Vanderbilt/ Centennial Park.

Yelp
Last week was our first time in Nashville. We searched high and low for a decent place to stay. Hyatt house was fairly new and had great reviews so we figured it was a win. We drove to Nashville and upon check in we realized parking wasn't included in our stay. We booked through Expedia and nothing about parking was mentioned. That was quite a bummer as it's $31.00 a day. We didn't let it ruin our trip so it was easily overlooked. Check in was a breeze! The front staff are all amazing! Very nice and friendly people. Throughout our stay they were very accommodating when it came to questions about where to go and what to do. The room was also very nice. We had a king bed, full kitchen and a living area. Not much of a view but we didn't mind. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great! They offer a pool which is small and fills up very fast. This past weekend it was close to 95 degrees daily. They offer a shuttle service to broadway and within a 2 mile radius I believe. During the busy times it's much easier to Uber though. Breakfast is included in your stay. It's not your typical breakfast at a hotel. It's full of great things. Not many pastries but cereal, eggs, hot cakes, French toast and an omelette station. I do advise getting there early. It's a great perk to staying here. FYI they do not offer room service. They have a small convenience store on the first floor. But, they do have a full bar. Typically with everything I would give the Hyatt house 5 stars. It's close to everything, staff is great, food was good. Unfortunately, we had a minor issue that is being worked on by the General Manager Brian. It's a unfortunate issue that I won't get into but the response from the staff has been nothing but helpful. Overall If your looking for a place to stay in Nashville, this is a solid choice.

Yelp
We just returned from our Honeymoon stay at the Nashville Hyatt House. And it was just perfect! The staff is very sweet and helpful. We were upgraded to a gorgeous King suite (Yay!) with a separate living room/kitchen. The room was gorgeous! And oh my goodness the bed was heaven! Seriously, the mattress was amazingly comfortable. The bathroom had a huge shower. It was great. Let's talk their breakfast. Wow! I'm shocked it's included because it was delicious! The omelette bar was super yummy. And the ladies who clean up the busy breakfast area were so sweet and attentive. They kept the dining room so clean. I was really impressed. Now location. It's less than a mile from downtown Nashville, but I'd definitely recommend Uber or their shuttle to get there. Uber cost about $6 for a ride and we often found it quicker than waiting for their shuttle. The Hyatt House has a super cool outside pool on the 5th floor. It gets busy and fills up fast. I do wish they had more lounge chairs. My only complaint and it wasn't a huge deal was housekeeping could've been better. One day we didn't get our room cleaned. And on the others only our bed was made. Overall I'd definitely recommend Nashville Hyatt House. It's a pretty gorgeous hotel!

Yelp
Nice place to stay in Nashville. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel lobby is bright and spacious. It offers a bar with indoor seats and an outdoor patio. The free breakfast ends at 8:30 am, which seems a bit early when one is relaxing on vacation. Our room was nice but needed some minor maintenance--the blackout shade was broken and wouldn't lower, and the sliding door to the bathroom was difficult to move. And, I'm not sure if it's fair to ding a hotel for the guests, but being next to Vanderbilt, it seems to cater to a younger crowd that thinks it's acceptable to party in the hallway after 1 am.
google avatar

Yelp
Breakfast is a hard pass. Apples were so bruised I think they were apart of a back alley fighting ring. Sandwiches were stale, coffee couldn't have been any more bitter. The hotel rooms though are nice and modern. Had a king suite. Everything worked great and the beds are nice. Off street parking for free is a limited but an available option so that is nice.

Jocelyn Z.

Yelp
Awesome customer service! They far surpassed our expectations and responded to all of our needs. Clean and easy location.

Yelp
Thank you all for your excellent service. I'm speechless. My Dad passed at Vandy during my stay and you all touched my heart. I'll be in touch with your higher ups. Thank you so much. Jefffrey & Wayne

Yelp
First time visiting Nashville and needed a reasonable room near Vanderbilt University. Hyatt House is a block away from West End right near Vanderbilt and convenient to many excellent restaurants. Room was clean and perfectly suited for a parent and child visit. The hotel has a pool that seemed to be a popular destination. Breakfast included which looked pretty good. The people working here were super nice and displayed that Southern hospitality. After we checked out they happily took our bags to a secure area so we could walk around without them which was very nice. Despite being near a Main Street it was quiet. The bed was comfy and the shower had good pressure. I'd stay here again for sure. Also Krispy Kreme hot donuts a block away which is a bonus.

Yelp
Stayed here with my girlfriends in a suite for the weekend - it was actually sooo cute! Loved that there was free breakfast every morning. Staff was super nice and put up with my friend's antics. Good location to some off the beaten path spots but also super close Uber ride to Broadway. I would recommend staying here!

Yelp
Great place to stay at in Nashville. They had a pretty good fitness center with a nice mix of equipment and weights. Also enjoyed the live music on the front patio/bar area in the evenings. Just a nice clean hotel in general.

Yelp
This was the cleanest, trendiest, nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. I loved that it was a short 6$ Uber drive from the honkey tonks, but in a quiet area so it was easy to sleep. The hotel was spotless and the staff were helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. Omelet bar was sooo good!! I would definitely return to this hotel it was amazing. Dollar General is a 2 minute walk with everything you could need as well

Yelp
I just checked in this morning at 6:45am, and the Hyatt has already made my Nashville trip off to an amazing start by providing such an early check in! Took a flight from LA at midnight and landed at BNA at 6am, (4am my time) and was shocked that my room was ready upon online check in during landing. Checked in, enjoyed the complementary breakfast (food was good as well) and went back to the room to nap before starting my day. Having such an early check in has been so wonderful. I already love this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I wasn't a guest at the hotel but I had employees staying there for a training we had in Nashville. We weren't originally supposed to have them stay there but after some problems with an air b&b down the street they ended up having to find another place to stay around midnight and found the Hyatt House right down the street. I needed to put my card on file for the room charges but wasn't able to until the day after they check in. Megan and Jamie at the front desk were both so pleasant and helped me get the room charges correct and redirected to my card rather than the card that was originally used to book the reservation. Today was a hectic day of things not going as planned and meeting these lady's was just what I needed. It's amazing how a smile and a silliness to help a guest can go so far! Thank you Hyatt House, you have two wonderful ladies working the front desk, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Megan and Jamie! You two are wonderful!!!

Yelp
My favorite business stay hotel in Nashville. What a beautiful, clean, and great service hotel. First, the location. It's one street away from the Vandy main campus and less than six blocks from the HQs of several healthcare companies. If you're here to visit a student or on hospital business, this is about as convenient as it gets. But the reason I'm taking the time to write a review is because of the property and staff. Great modern rooms. Superb Wi-Fi and plenty of sitting areas to have a drink and work. The staff are very helpful and friendly and they are trained to greet us by name. (Nice personal touch.) Finally, the breakfast buffet is much more like a full hot breakfast than the typical continental free breakfast one gets at hotels.

Yelp
We were passing through on a road trip and chose this hotel based on past experience with Hyatt brand. This hotel was obv the exception to the rule and we would have switched hotels if it was not a single night stay. Cleanliness was sub par, large sticky stains in elevators, remote control had thick, dried on crud required scrubbing w/ a wet one to remove. Fridge didnt operate properly unless it was pulled away from wall, probably a bad cord or something but doing so revealed years of filth. On our stay, there was a malfunction with the toilet lid that resulted in urine splashing onto my girlfriends cosmetic bag. Both the manager, Genevieve, and the general manager, Brian Kent, acknowledged the mechanical defect, agreed that it caused damage to my property, but would not offer a suitable resolution because, as GM Brian Kent stated, "it is not my fault you chose to place your belongings on the floor" and "its our job to apologize to the customer, not provide a refund for every slight inconvenience", further elaborating " this is not a customer service problem." I explained there are many options for hotels and we chose this one based on our past pleasant experiences to which Brian agreed that we can choose any hotel we want and suggested we do so in the future, which is exactly what we will be doing and so should you.

Yelp
It was our first time in Nashville and decided to stay in this new Hyatt House hotel. The hospitality of the staff was amazing. They were able to accommodate 6 of us and were there every time we needed them without hesitation and fast. Every time we walked in through the entrance of the hotel we were greeted and asked about our day. This made the hotel feel like we were returning home and to a safe and friendly place. Our room also came with continental breakfast which was a pleasant perk. There was nothing special about the breakfast but that was okay because there are plenty of great local breakfast places within a two mile radius of the hotel. The hotel offers a shuttle service until 10pm anywhere working a two mile radius. The driver Jeff was the best! He showed us around and gave us a mini tour while on our way to our destination. The others staff was also great! Genevie gave us restaurant recommendations and some main attractions to visit! Let's just say she knew what she was talking about! The hotel itself was not in the downtown area but it was a not a far distance. There were a lot of places short of a distance to walk to. Our overall stay at the Hyatt was spectacular. The accommodations and service were excellent. Needless to say when we return to Nashville staying at the Hyatt will definitely be a top choice.

Yelp
This is the second time our family have stayed here and I always love my stay because it's decent and close to many things. It is pet friendly, which is what we need because we have a 3lb yorkie. The room with two queen beds and a den, the staff are very helpful. I couldn't give a 5-star rating because the bathroom lock was broken, the blow dryer and some of the outlets were not working. Overall, we will come stay here whenever we are in town, hopefully we get a room next time that has those working things.

Yelp
The absolute WORST hotel experience I've ever had in any city and country. I travel extensively for work. Stage in hundreds of hotels all over the world. This was the worst. Checked out this morning at 5:30 am, asked the the front desk for printed receipt, Got in the car and saw there was an unauthorized charge of 29.10 on my card. NEVER had wine there or even went to the bar. Called immediately and let her know and she said she would speak to the manager and call me back. NO a phone call from Genevieve or Kia... called again, and spoke to Myrna who said manager was unavailable?! Unavailable??? Let's see if Tanner Michael's calls back. Don't even know how a fraudulent charge was made to my room. Shady hotel. Oh and housekeeping never cleaned my room, and the room was gross . Beware, super shady.
