Hyatt Paris Madeleine (Paris, Île-de-France) 2 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Yes, it’s a member of an American chain, but it’s hard to find a luxury hotel that’s much more Parisian than the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. It helps that it’s in Madeleine, in the historic center of the city and an easy walk to everything from the Louvre to the Paris Opera. You could probably find an old-school local or two who would claim that the 8th is pretty much the center of the universe — home to the Champs Élysées, to the French president, to more Michelin three-star restaurants than all of California, and to some of the best shopping in the city, and thus the world." - Tablet Hotels

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. Whether we were enjoying breakfast, grabbing a quick bite between outings, or returning after a long day of exploring Paris, the service was warm, attentive, and personal.|The Chef deserves a special mention. His cooking was exceptional, and on our anniversary, he surprised us with a stunning cake and even shared the recipe so we could make it at home. It was such a personal and memorable gesture.|The General Manager, Nathalie, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. She reached out before our arrival, greeted us personally, and offered wonderful recommendations around the city. Her kindness and attention to detail truly set the tone for our visit.|What stood out most about this hotel is its refined yet welcoming feel. It’s elegant without being formal, more like staying with dear friends’ home who have impeccable taste.|We left with full hearts and so many special memories. Thank you to the entire Hyatt Paris Madeleine staff for making our anniversary trip absolutely magical. We can’t wait to return one day.

We moved to the Hyatt Paris Madeleine for the second half of our Paris trip because we wanted to be closer to the main sights, and it was perfect! It was so easy to walk to the Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, and so many other attractions. The hotel itself has this beautiful sense of understated elegance, classy and refined without ever feeling stuffy. Our room & bathroom was spacious and beautiful. It had the kind of Paris neighborhood view you dream about! The madeleines in the lobby were honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. They also serve champagne in the lounge before dinner, and it was such a treat to unwind under that gorgeous glass ceiling. Every staff member was so warm and welcoming, especially Anna at the lounge, who made us feel completely at home. Truly a memorable stay. Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at the Hyatt madeleine was wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer. We were greeted warmly in the beautiful lobby by Elisabeth the assistant manager and she was lovely. She offered champagne during check in and gave us great restaurant recommendations. It was our honeymoon so she made sure she got us an upgrade. AND she sent macarons and some cake as a treat to celebrate our honeymoon. So sweet! Rooms are super clean and have everything you need. All the staff we ran into from front desk to the bar were so nice and accommodating. It was also in a great location. Not too far from major attractions but also on a more quiet side of town with still plenty of things to do and places to eat near by. Next time we are in Paris we will definitely be staying there again!

We recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine for a 5-day Paris getaway. It was my husband, our 9-year-old son, and me. By European standards, the King superior room was pleasantly accommodating and had room to fit all of us. I knew that the room would have a view of the boulevard, but we were more than pleasantly surprised when we got to our abode and we could see the Eiffel Tower as well! This was a little behind-the-scenes magic, I'm sure. Nathalie Urban, the manager of the hotel is exceptional. She and I corresponded, and when I could only get 3 of the 4 nights that I needed, she worked a miracle and found another night for me in the hotel! She greeted us upon check-in and upon our departure and really made us feel at home during our stay. Her affable nature and hospitality clearly sets the tone for all of the hotel staff as they are all exceptionally kind and accommodating! Housekeeping was wonderful. Our room was serviced daily and we returned each day after a very full day of exploring the city to a clean, and beautiful room. This goes a long way after you've been on your feet all day! Finally, the location of the hotel can't be beat. It's near metro stops, and it's positioned well in terms of major sights that you'll want to see on your "bucket list". We really felt that the hotel gave us a leg up on being able to access so much of the city without major effort. This hotel has a personal touch, it's not too big, and it strikes all the right chords that you want for a tourist-home base.

Hotel Madeline was a dream come true. The staff were so incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to celebrate my husband's birthday. The free "happy hour" in the lobby was such a nice treat. Centrally located and easy to walk to many attractions, we always felt safe. Beds were comfortable, and even having "just" a courtyard view was very romantic and Parisian. The hotel and rooms are all beautifully decorated. While smaller than an average US hotel room, we felt there was plenty of space. There is a quiet‐luxury, boutique feel to the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel!

Upon our arrival, Nathalie Urban, the GeneralManager, explained to my husband and I that the Hyatt Paris Madeleine was a bit like a boutique hotel. Throughout our stay, we found that this could not have been more true. The level of personal attention we received truly reminded us of both boutique properties, like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, as well as high end cruise ships we have been on. In the mornings, we were welcomed at breakfast by staff who knew our preferred table and our “usual” order. In the evenings, at the complimentary nightly reception, the same person would greet us by name with a broad smile, escort us to seats and remembered that we both like red wine. One morning the chef had made chocolate chip cookies, which were exceptional. I had mentioned this to both Nathalie and Antoine Kohller, the Food & Beverage Manager. As a generous departure gift, it was arranged to have cookies for us to take on our journey home. What an unexpected and welcome surprise!

Excellent experience from start to finish! The entire team goes above and beyond to make it a smooth and memorable experience for all. Lovely location, clean, warm, quiet, welcoming and just beautiful. Breakfast in the morning was a treat! You will not regret this hotel.

I travel a lot, but this is the very first time I’ve experienced such genuinely warm and outstanding service from hotel staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone made me feel welcome and taken care of. Emily and Elizabeth at the reception gave me the best check-in of my life — friendly, efficient, and full of positive energy. Natalia went above and beyond by recommending places to visit and even helping me with bookings, which made my stay so much easier and more enjoyable. In the restaurant, Arif made the dinners truly special with his skills as a bartender and his great conversation. At breakfast, the team created such a cheerful atmosphere and even prepared coffee to-go for my morning walk — a thoughtful detail I really appreciated. The room was excellent, the restaurant fantastic, and the location is perfect: Fashion Street, the Louvre, and many other attractions are all within walking distance. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the people. Thank you for making my stay unforgettable — I can’t wait to return!

Yelp
Location is excellent, close enough to metro if you decide to go to major attractions that are not walkable.  Otherwise, you can walk to the Louvre, place de la Concorde, Fontaine de Mers, Luxor Obelisk, Ponte Alexandre III, L'eglise de la Madeleine,  Champs Elysees, L'Opera and Arc du Triomphe. Also, close to shops and museums. The staff upon check in were very friendly and helpful. They speak French and English. The room was clean and smelled good. The bed, although firm, was comfortable enough. Daily housekeeping was available (not sure if it's only for elite members).  Being a globalist member, I was upgraded to a bigger room. Daily complimentary bottled waters were provided (for elite members). The first room assigned was without a view and the sink was not draining but it was fixed immediately when I let them know. However, on the 4th night, I tried to use the bath tub but ended up not using it because the water didn't drain (or so I thought). Later on, after fiddling around with it I figured out that you have to twist something in order for the tub to drain. The shower collected water after a few mins of use, probably due to clogged drain, I'm not sure. All these were brought up to the front desk and they assigned me a new room (with a city view), which was available in the evening. Overall, I'm very satisfied with how efficient the hotel staff handled the problems I've encountered. They've made my stay wonderful and memorable! Highly recommended.

Yelp
The hotel was okay. Room was small. Employees were very friendly. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star review is because when I turned on the shower I had yellow rusty water come out. I called the front desk and they sent Emmanuel come fix it fairly quickly. He was also very friendly. Just kind of grossed me out.

Yelp
This is a 3.5 star review for this hotel. I stayed one night using World of Hyatt points. **Location** The location of this hotel is nearby Rue Saint-Honoré and Église Saint-Augustin. Nearby subway stations at Saint Augustin and Madeleine. **Check-In** Check in around 3 PM was busy but orderly. Front Desk was friendly and mentioned the happy hour with complimentary welcome drink in the early evening. **Accommodations** I've stayed at the Intercontinental - Le Grand and the rooms were classic looking. Don't expect trendy and modern decors in the room. The bath tub was interesting, though they should've replayed the shower curtains which had spots all over. Clarins bath products were used which was a nice touch. **Amenities** La Chinoiserie and Cafe M were located in the property. I checked out La Chinoiserie several times and enjoy the ambience. The gym/spa/relaxation room was by reservation at the time with the whole spot to myself. There's also a Franprix couple doors down from the hotel. **Local Attractions** Check out Maison Bès across the street for dinner. Monoprix is a quick 5 minute walk. It's PARIS... everywhere is an attraction. Uber is easy to get around town.

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel March 2024. Family of four, two minors. We booked through Expedia because when you book through their website, it is SKETCHY. They insist you pay a conversion fee if you are not paying in Euros and they apply their own (much worse) conversion rate than you would see anywhere else such that it ended up being much more expensive than the original quote. I booked so many things prior to our trip to Paris and they were the ONLY website that had this weird sketchy bait and switch. So, I booked through Expedia to not have to deal with that. Expedia confirmation stated that we would have to pay the hotel 85.84 Euros ($92.60) ourselves at check out. That is for the French Tourist tax WHICH MINORS DO NOT HAVE TO PAY. Fast forward to the day we check out. They insist that minors have to pay the tourist tax. We showed them our Expedia confirmation. They didn't care. We are in a foreign country, trying to check out and get in our uber to go to the airport. We essentially felt like we were being held hostage until we paid them what they wanted. So, I figured I'd pay them and we would figure this all out later with Expedia and with a hotel higher up or something. NOT THE CASE. They insisted via email that minors between 12 and 18 get charged the tourist tax. A simple google search will prove this false. The official French tax website states only adults pay the tax. Since when was a 13 year old considered an adult? The treatment by them on the day of check out and the continued treatment of insisting falsely they did nothing wrong is infuriating. We paid close to $5,000 for our four night stay there for two rooms. Trust me when I say it's not the $92.60 that I am angry about. This is disgusting fraudulent business practice and I'm shocked that this would happen at a big hotel chain like Hyatt. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and telling as many people and websites as I can about this despicable behavior.

Yelp
An absolutely charming and welcoming hotel on Rue Malshebres! The desk staff were amazing; attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel completely welcome! Fresh madeleines in a bell jar in the lobby all day, a fireplace burning in the very comfortable lounge for drinks. Room was comfortable. Will definitely consider this hotel for our next trip!

Yelp
I am a Hyatt Globalist. Here is the letter that I wrote to the Director of Guest Experiences upon our return home: Dear Marine, Melanie and I have returned safely home, after a wonderful stay in Paris and Aix-en-Provence, marked in both places by excellent weather! I am writing to thank you personally for the warm reception that you offered us, as well as the excellent, attentive service provided by all of the staff that we encountered at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. Everyone was uniformly friendly, charming, and helpful. I would like to mention in particular the excellent service provided by Elizabeth at reception, who really made an extra effort to accomodate us, so that we would not have to change rooms once we were settled in, and who also made it possible for us to rest and freshen up immediately upon our early arrival at the hotel. We are especially grateful for this. Elizabeth has an excellent attitude towards resolving guest challenges. I am sure that she will go on to have a great career in hospitality. I would also like to mention the friendly service of Claire, who served us drinks in the restaurant, and who was exceptionally welcoming. She is knowledgeable and engaging, and we were happy to see her each evening. Finally, although we did not learn his name, I also want to recognize the very charming young man who served us in Cafe M for breakfast. He was exceptionally kind and attentive, and after the first day he remembered the very particular boisson chaud (cappucino decaf au lait d'amande) that my wife prefers each morning. He always greeted us warmly and personally, with a beautiful smile. I would also like to add that the breakfast offering was outstanding, and I was especially impressed by the perfection of the omelettes! I hope that you will share our warm feelings towards these particular members of the hotel team. And of course, we are especially grateful to you, Marine, for your warmth, friendliness, and kind attention during our stay at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. You were responsible for making this one of our best hotel stays anywhere! Nous en sommes très reconnaissants! Avec les sentiments les plus chaleureux, à la prochaine fois,

Yelp
Stayed here 4 nights and I gotta say it was one of the nicest hotels I've been in. From the friendliness of the staff who speak English well considering we were in Paris, to the amenities in the room and the bedding. Everything was top notch! They even include a free glass of wine for each person (we were 3) each day during their Happy Hour in the lobby. The staff went out of their way always. Whether helping w luggage, making restaurant suggestions (writing 4 places w address and phone#s!). Just incredibly helpful! Just a very well appointed place and the location was fantastic. We were not more than 10-15 minute taxi from any of the major attractions

Yelp
We spent four nights here at this Hyatt and between the comfort, service, overall atmosphere, and cleanliness, it really made our Paris stay unforgettable. We had taken the train from the airport (my dumb idea cause look, it's so close to the stop!, he wanted to take a cab), and it wound up drizzling as we got off the subway. We dragged two suitcases across the cobblestone and mud, and by the time we made it into the lobby, both of us were exhausted, a little muddy, dressed in comfy (read: not dressy) airplane clothes, and overall super haggard-looking. Nonetheless, the staff were great and friendly despite our outward appearance, and immediately looked to help us with our booking when we stepped into the lobby. They helped bring up our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed when we stepped into our room. It was beautiful and clean, and I really liked the courtyard window since we could open the window to let in the cool air without a lot of noise from the street outside. The bed was really comfortable, the sheets were clean, and room service always did a great job. The first night there, we woke up too late and wanted to find some food. After wandering around for 30, 40 minutes, we gave up and went back to the front desk, hoping they would help us find something still open for food service, and the gentleman wrote down the name and location of a restaurant not too far away. Any time we wanted a taxi, the front desk would call us one and we'd be on our way within 5 minutes. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the attached Cafe M restaurant, or the lobby bar. The lobby was beautifully decorated with a glass ceiling and a lounge area in the middle. The hotel's location is unbeatable. Far enough from tourist attractions to be more on the quiet side, but within walking distance to the Seine, the Madeleine Cathedral, and Place de la Concorde, and you can walk down Champs-Elysees if you really wanted to. When we come back, I'd definitely want to go with this Hyatt again.

Yelp
The Hyatt Paris Madeleine is very clean, cozy, and nice. Although not 100% operational from the recent COVID-19 lockdown, the check-in experience was efficient and professional. The rooms are a typical-Paris sized hotel room. The rooms are quiet and the bed is very comfortable. A nice deluge shower head with hot water and good pressure. Caution...open the windows, turn on the ac, and close the recessed door otherwise the steam from the shower may set off the smoke detector. The Madeleine neighborhood is nice and is in walking distance of major Paris sites and high-end retailers. Wine shops, bakeries, Monoprix grocery store, and small restaurants are nearby.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised with my stay at this property. I used ultimate rewards points for this stay and initially booked only 1 night because the Park Hyatt was sold out. I ended up staying another night there because of the better than expected facilities. The customer service was superb. I mean, not Waldorf or Peninsula amazing- just better than average. Clean, modern rooms with European, US and USB outlets readily available for use. Well-appointed technology, though the AirPlay feature on the televisions needs some improvement. I wasn't able to use the feature at all after numerous attempts carefully following the instructions. There were parts of the room that appeared improperly constructed. A piece of molding was hanging by a thread and just fell off the wall with the slightest touch. Moulding around the Juliette balcony was less than exciting to look at. Pillows were square and flattened all too quickly. Comfortable bed, decently insulated room, VERY SPACIOUS. The minibar was well stocked and clothes steamer (handheld pain in the a**) available upon request. Overall 4/5, though given its in Paris, I'd say it's FAR nicer than the majority of boutique hotels available.

Yelp
My husband and I are in Paris for the first time, celebrating our 10 year anniversary. We looked at many hotels and read many reviews before deciding on booking with Hyatt Paris Madeleine. We absolutely love it so far, the staff is incredibly friendly and we were given the perfect room with the Eiffel Tower view. Such a bonus! It has been amazing our first day, we are looking forward to enjoying the rest of our stay here. Our suite is very clean and we are very happy to have booked our stay here. Unfortunately, towards the end of our stay the staff became a little sloppy and the housekeeping took something from our room. They did return in the following day, and put it under the bed as if we left it there.. it was very annoying and we were disappointed. Also, beware of the housekeeping just barging in. They don't wait for an answer when they knock.

Yelp
The staff are very nice and professional. Upon arriving, we were greeted and offered drinks. When we entered our room, they had a small dessert, wine, sweets, and kids journal book prepared for us as a welcome gesture. Our suite is spacious, my children (7 & 9 years old) enjoyed the comfortable sofa bed. Our bed is soft and comfortable. The pillows were perfect. I have spine issues and I didn't have any pain after sleeping on the bed. The room is clean and the air conditioning is great kept us cool during the heat wave in July when we went. They clean everyday and provide bottled water. Also the air is clean and smells really good when we enter our room. The hotel is beautiful and is near to a lot places to eat. The Cafe M had a very good breakfast and my kids loved it too. We enjoyed our stay for my husband's birthday. I was in constant communication with them via messaging system and answered all my questions. I really appreciate the excellent communication prior to our stay to ensure we have everything set. The only thing is that I wish we were in the higher floors or have a view of the Eiffel Tower hopefully next time they can accommodate that request. Overall we had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Paris Madeleine! Thank you!

Yelp
The Hyatt Madeleine is pretty much my home in Paris whenever I visit and over the past 7 or 8 years, I've easily slept at the hotel for over 100 nights. The location of the Hyatt Madeleine is one of the great features because it is in a rather local environment of offices, apartments and shops but is just a short walk away from various tourist areas, sights and shopping. The rooms are nice and comfortable, not huge but also not too small, just right in my opinion. A friend said that it was once a Park Hyatt before the current Park Hyatt was built on Rue de la Paix but I am not sure how accurate that is, I could understand if that was the case though. My suggestion is to always ask for a room facing Blvd Malesherbes because it's nice to open up the windows and really get the feeling like it's your own Parisian apartment. The staff has always been excellent and very friendly. Over the years I see the same staff members and it's always nice to see familiar faces then learn what's new in the neighborhood. As a low maintenance traveler, I don't tend to ever ask much but the staff is always helpful to get a reservation or make whatever arrangements. Also I always work from the hotel and the Wi-Fi is solid which is something very important for me. For value and experience, I think the Hyatt Madeleine is the best option in Paris! The Palace hotels are nice but in my experience it's best to stay at the Hyatt Madeleine and just visit the restaurants at the Palace level hotels.

Yelp
The rooms are tiny, especially the bathrooms. The lobby is cute and breakfast in the morning was yummy. The service is always great. The location is not the best and a good walk to anything touristy. Just a cute little hotel with great service, just don't expect big beautiful rooms.

Yelp
I spend about 40 weeks each year on the road in hotels and on planes. My reviews are based on location, comfort and cleanliness. These three items more than any other help to determine if a hotel is good. This location was only blocks away from the meeting I traveled to Paris for 48 hours to attend. It is along Boulevard Malesherbes, well traveled but not the busiest of streets, in a traffic heavy city. Getting to and from the hotel was easy. The room I had was on the street side which was not loud and allowed me to sleep with the windows open for the cool spring evenings, and wake to the golden early light of morning start to warm the white stone of historic city buildings. I have not been in a more comfortable hotel since my stay at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs nearly two decades ago. The room had a sitting area, bed and bathroom. All were highly comfortable and allowed me to dream deeply during my acclamation to the local time zone. Television in the room had more than a dozen English speaking channels. Water in the shower and taps were hot and heavy. There are questions that come to the traveling American in France these days. They are whispers on the news that promote fear. This goes above and beyond the normal sense of uncertainly one might have in a foreign land not speaking more than a handfull of native phrases. The staff of this hotel put my mind to ease immediately. Behind the desk professional and bilingual members of the Hyatt team provided me a comfortable seat and good cup of coffee while they called up to cleaning to prepare my room. When I have questions about location, recommendations on dining, or worries about time to the airport and availability of taxi's during the petrol drivers strike - they put my mind at ease. All will be taken care of, not just words, followed by true actions. In my early morning departure to CDG a taxi is ready and waiting. I found the Madeleine to be clean. There were no warning signs at check in or first entry to the room. My estimate was the room had been recently renovated in the last few months, and there was no worry about this aspect of my stay. Over all I had a great experience at this hotel. All of my stays in Paris have been good, but this one, only a 48 hour trip, seemed impressive due mainly to the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. If you have the means to afford a stay here, and your business or pleasure take you to this part of town, I highly recommend you stay and enjoy the experience. You will thank me.

Yelp
HIghoS Rooms are large, bathroom plush, pillows soooo comfy. The hotel staff are great and ask you upon check in which language you prefer to communicate in during your stay. SAY WHAT??!! I'll pick Klinong thanks., yIDoghQo' tlhIngan maH! The lobby is a little small compared to what I am use to but I really don't care especially when I'm sleeping in my massive room. In the mornings there is a table set up infront of the elevator so as soon as those doors open you can fill your take away cup with hot coffee, hot choc or my fave, hot spicey wine! Tanked at 8am I only had breakfast at the hotel twice because I was hunting bakeries but both times it was scrum. The weekend breakfast differs from weekday breakfast so make sure you get the heads up on that. The only fault if I had to pick one is that none of the news channels on tv were in english which is a bit odd in this day and age.

Yelp
Hotel is convenient to everything. Rooms are nice size but a bit dirty. The front desk is very nice and fast w requests. A nice buffet breakfast served in their restaurant. Service good. In-room attention to detail and housekeeping could be improved. See photos of dirty/stains. And the TV was impossible to work. Needing to push the buttons three times to change channels. It shuts off on its own. Not sure if it turns on. Super-annoying

Yelp
From the moment we arrived we were greeted with one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had. Lara took care of us during our stay, she remembered my request for a room upgrade (upsell) which I requested via email, and knew all my room preferences (through my World of Hyatt membership) and really catered to our tastes. She gave us a gorgeous bedroom on the 6th floor with a view of the Eiffel from our window :) We were here celebrating our wedding anniversary (she also remembered, score!) so she gave us complimentary champagne glasses at their lobby lounge Le Chinoise to enjoy during our stay. The lobby lounge is beautiful, well decorated and clean - they had a jazz band playing when we arrived (Thurs night until 10pm) which sounded beautiful! I could go on and on about this hotel, but my words just doesn't do it justice. The rooms are clean and bright and spacious (for Paris standards), it's super quiet (didn't hear another guest or elevator sounds or water/bathroom or room service, it was so quiet it felt like we had the whole 6th floor to ourselves), the bathroom impeccable, service warm and friendly (they speak perfect English for us non-French speaking folks). I highly recommend purchasing the breakfast buffet at their restaurant Cafe M upon checking in, its $28 EUR per person (instead of $36 EUR if you bought it directly from the restaurant) and there is soooo much yummy food to choose from! Freshly made eggs (any style) to order, cafe, tea, pastries (so good, just as good as the bakeries we've had), their muesli (housemade) is the bomb!, cereals, potatoes, sausage, bacon, etc... it's a great meal to have before walking 10 min to the shopping mecca of Paris. Yes, the hotel's location is perfect as well! It doesn't get better than this. 5-stars all the way for Hyatt Madeline, thank you Lara and staff for a wonderful experience!

Yelp
Thank you so much Hyatt Madeline! We had an amazing time. The staff was Sooooooo helpful and friendly to us. They made reservations for us and got us cabs. We got to workout and use the sauna! And the food was really tasty! A little pricey, but to be expected in a hotel. The rooms were great besides a weird smell, but we called and they came to try and fix it. Comfy firm beds in our junior twin suite and grrrreat shower with heated towel racks in our suite! The housekeeping did come a lot and woke us a few times, but it's better than not coming :) Overall, it was a great trip. We will be back here for sure ! Thank you thank you!

Wow, the reception staff were beyond helpful - she even walked us to our room and gave us a load of tips about what to do while we were in Paris. As we were there for our third anniversary, we were offered two glasses of complimentary champers which was a nice touch. What I loved: - the bathroom/shower area made me feel like a princess! - the sauna/steam room downstairs were a great treat - loved the complementary Evian water - location - the bar downstairs is exquisitely designed and I loved how open it was with the big glass ceiling What I didn't like so much: - the cleaner was a bit rude, telling me off for leaving my 'do not disturb' sign, and then only leaving one bath robe for us for the next day so made our trip to the sauna a bit more of a hassle. - the bed was a bit hard I'd definitely recommend this place though!

Yelp
What a beautiful unassuming little place located in the heart of Paris. I'm grateful that this place was recommended to me otherwise I would not have found it. Located next to a metro stop with a lot of restaurants nearby, this Hyatt is located in the northern aspects of central Paris. Everyone who works here speaks English well and is extremely patient with people who try French (they pretend they understand you ;D. The rooms are quaint and the bathrooms are spacious. Our room looked over the main street with a beautiful view of the building outside. The restaurant in the lobby has delicious food but SUPER expensive. Hey, after a day of traveling it may be worth it to just sit in and enjoy the ambience of the city of romance. I will definitely come back here in the future!

Yelp
Excellent brunch location for a small group. Large lobby area with a domed glass ceiling giving you an atrium like feel. Very minimal foot traffic, and an attentive staff allow you to enjoy your meal, ans your afternoon with friends without being hurried along or interupted. Fois gras de canard is a large slice with a tart blueberry topping making a very nice contrast in flavor. The Strawberry smoothie was a fresh and naturally sweet alternative to start the meal instead or the usual orange juice. Fresh pasta in a cheese sauce was better than average, but the macaronni noodles tasted suspiciously like boxed pasta and not what I was expecting when I read the description on the menu. Although this was a little on the expensive side for a casual meal, for a 3 hour brunch with alcohol, it was not a bad value. I wouldn't recomend this for tourists looking to experience Paris, but for locals or frequent visitors looking for a relaxing meal it's a good choice.

Yelp
We stayed here for 4 days in December with our baby and loved it. We had a room with a small hallway that was perfect for our baby so she could not see us when she slept. The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. They provided really nice toiletries and a great French brand of baby toiletries for our daughter. Their room service was excellent and prompt. Their concierge helped us to make several last minute reservations and were totally on top of the communication getting back to us quickly and efficiently.

Yelp
The best hotel in the best location.....had the time of my life. We'll definitely stay here again. The staff was stellar and the accommodations were just fabulous. And the view from our room was just priceless....especially at night when the Eiffel Tower turned into a glittering, shimmering, magical sight! What a perfect trip......Thank you Hyatt Madeleine and the wonderful staff. We will be coming back soon!

Yelp
I travel every week for work and this is one of those rare occasions when I get to stay in a Hyatt on my vacation. This is a WONDERFUL hotel. I'm surprised it is only a Hyatt Regency and not a Park Hyatt with the level and quality of customer service. The room is very comfortable and I have a wonderful view of the boulevard outside. This is going to be a stay I won't soon forget.

Yelp
The Lounge in the lobby is a very cozy and warm space for meeting a colleague for a drink. The staff make the spot very pleasant; the perfect spot for beating the cold (or the heat) and getting a refreshment. I am astounded at the service level at this Hyatt location.

Yelp
The room was so small I had to go into the hall to change my mind. There were no dressers:no place to put your clothes. Staff was friendly, but would NEVER stay here again. Just too uncomfortable

Yelp
Very nice hotel! Great location between st Augustine and madellene metro stop. The staffs are phenomenal. I stay in hotels more than 200 nights a year and this is definitely a 5/5. Breakfast selection above average. The staff will pay attention to when you leave they will come and clean your room as soon as you leave the hotel. We left the hotel at 5 pm came back at 7 pm the room was cleaned! Water serive everyday at 7 pm they will bring two bottles of evian to your room. I also get a view of the effel tower from my room. I feel comfortable here and would definitely come back again!

Yelp
This was our third time to stay at the Paris Hyatt Madeleine and, once again, we were not disappointed. We had been sightseeing in several countries and came to Paris for a few days to relax before returning home. This small boutique hotel is in a great location- you can walk to the Louvre, department stores, Opera, Left Bank, everywhere. This hotel is elegant yet extremely comfortable and low key. Take a seat in the cozy lobby and someone will immediately appear to ask if you would like a drink, coffee, food, or you can just sit. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, had all possible amenities. The staff was very helpful; the food was excellent in both room service and the more formal dining. We look forward to returning to this hotel!

Yelp
The location is great. I was able to walk to many sights from here, including Napoleon's tomb, The Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower (although that was a pretty long walk). Everyone I talked to spoke English. The whole staff was phenomenal. For one thing, I think everyone that works here is a model on the side. Men and women alike, all beautiful. Whenever I needed something, a cab or advice or whatever, they were incredibly helpful and friendly. I didn't bother eating here, but it seemed a bit pricey. The room was very nice and spacious and was comfortable with a view of Boulevard Malesherbes below. There may be better options as far as cost goes, but this was a perfect location to base our exploration of Paris (and Hyatt comp'ed our stay anyway!).

Yelp
The service at Hyatt Regency Paris-Madeleine was outstanding from the moment we arrived. We had a beautiful room on the top floor over looking the Eiffel Tower that was stunning. Breakfast at Cafe M was wonderfully delicious each morning. Room service was prompt and my husband thought the burger was the best he's ever had in Europe. We had afternoon tea and champagne in the lobby bar, which is elegant and lovely. The fitness center has everything you need and a steam room. But most of all the staff were not only informative and helpful, but friendly and went above and beyond what one would expect. I highly recommend this hotel.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for four nights and it was a pleasant experience, but not the amazing experience we've had at other Hyatts in the US. The service was fine, but we did not receive the above and beyond service as with other resorts. For example, we had asked the concierge about the best and most cost effective way for us to get to Germany and she did not know. She said she would get back to us later that same day, but never did. Also, we checked in via Yelp because there was a "free offer" but the front desk had no idea what it was for. They had to call the corporate marketing group to figure out what it was for. It turned out to be a mistake, but they did give us a bottle of wine as consolation. Overall the experience was OK, but very expensive for what we actually received.

Yelp
Great location for seeing what you want in Paris. The pricing can be high as this is considered a five-star hotel. In the U.S. it would be 3.5...just a normal boutique. French architecture on the outside is beautiful, but nothing on the inside would tell what city you are in. The rooms are spacious for Paris (I am told) and the bathrooms were definitely nice. Overall I would recommend it based on location and the quality of service. If you are looking for something distinctly French, I would look elsewhere.

Yelp
I absolutely love this hotel! The rooms are large, the staff is kind and helpful, and the room service is quick. Each room has high speed wireless internet and a there's a 24 hr business center - both very key while on a business trip. They also have a lovely little bar (Cafe M and Champagne Bar), and an elegant restaurant (La Chinoiserie) excellent for business dinners or quick night cap. Last but least, they have great fitness center!

Yelp
It is a time warp back to 2007 the only difference is that now you get mice round naming everywhere in hotel bar. So gross. Never again! Experience extend better for location and price!

Yelp
Loved the hotel - it had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service, very friendly. The location is convenient to a lot of the museums and gardens, as well as two metro stations. If you can swing it definitely go with a deluxe room - the space over a standard is worth it. If you like quiet, pick a courtyard view.

Yelp
Wonderful hotel located in a great area of Paris. The desk staff has been amazing from the moment we checked in. Very attentive, always available to answer questions, give suggestions, call for taxis, etc. Far better service than we ever hoped for. Upon making our hotel reservations, I requested a view and upper floor if possible. Checked in around 8:30 PM and was told by the gentleman at the front desk "look out your window at 9:00 PM". OMG we have the most picture perfect view of the Eiffel Tower from our 7th floor room. It is breathtaking, and as we lay in bed each night, we are able to stare out the balcony windows and watch the incredible light show from the Eiffel Tower. Can't give enough "stars" for this experience alone! The room is lovely, roomy, full of light. The bathroom is perfect, great waterfall shower with all the amenities. Housekeeping has kept the room spotless each day for us, we have never returned from our days adventures to an unkempt room. The concierge service is great, we asked for help with a number of dinner reservations including several that require a month or more notice in advance. The concierge got us in to every restaurant we requested. We have not experienced breakfast or any dining at this hotel as we are out sightseeing from morning till night, but did order room service one morning and it was quickly delivered with very friendly service. We are here for 2 more nights (booked for 5 nights total) and can only say that if you are looking for a great location in Paris, near wonderful shopping, cafes, metro services, this is the place. Outstanding service at this hotel in every possible area. Thank you Hyatt Paris Madeleine for making our hotel experience in Paris perfect!

Yelp
Staff speaks English and are very friendly. Close to metro and shopping. Our deluxe king room featured a large bathroom with separate tub and shower. We asked for a quiet room and that's exactly what we got. Uber it to and from the airport.. only 45 euros. The hotel also sell tickets to some of the attractions (we bought tickets to the louvre).

Yelp
Beautiful and modern hotel that is also very close to metro stops and the Paris public bike system. Staff is very friendly and always with a smile. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Free umbrellas to borrow when there is rain. Close by many major attractions. Definitely enjoyed my stay here!
