Where to Stay in Chicago When Your Visit (Updated 2025)

"At the Hyatt Place in Hyde Park I noted an indoor pool, fitness center, and an on‑site cafe; the three‑star property includes a complimentary continental breakfast and spacious, simply designed rooms with a pull‑out sofa bed and large flatscreen TV, plus good‑sized bathrooms." - Matthew Kepnes

I had a wonderful experience at the Hyatt on Fresno Street. Shandra, the night auditor, was incredibly kind and welcoming. Her professionalism and warm personality make every visit feel special. I also want to give a huge thank-you to Robert Quinn, the security guard. He does an outstanding job keeping the hotel and its guests safe. His work isn’t easy, but he handles it with dedication and respect. I made sure to let him know how truly appreciated he is. Thank you, Shandra and Robert, for going above and beyond! Your hard work does not go unnoticed. Alice R.

Jasmine was the most disrespectful and rude employee here. I stayed for 12 days and she was nothing but rude, short and the worst customer experience I’ve ever received however Max and Emily were the best ever! Made me feel welcome and accomadated! Thank you to max and Emily for making my stay warm and delightful and i am a manager in customer service and would never allow an employee like Jasmine to represent my brand.

I had a fantastic stay at Hyatt Place! The staff truly made the experience memorable with their friendly, attentive service. Special shout-out to Sam, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. The hospitality was top-notch. You can tell the team here genuinely cares about their guests. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere!

The staff, location and rooms were great. I’m just a little upset because when I called to make a reservation, I was told that there were no rooms available, but when I went online, I was able to book. When we got the room the first thing we noticed, because I have my elderly parents, is that the TV wasn’t working. We let it slide for a couple hours and it still wasn’t working so we reported it. We were told that we were going be located to another room across the hall so we packed up everything and locked the door and that room only had one bed. I had to go downstairs two times because the new keys didn’t work and they put us on a new floor, mind you my parents are elderly and my dad is in a wheelchair. We are stuck in the hall for 10 to 15 minutes. When we checked in, they required a $50 deposit for the room that would be returned and when I got home, I noticed it on my bill. They said it is pending but they’re going to remove $10 for parking. That wouldn’t be a problem if I had been told that from the beginning.

Had a great experience at Hyatt. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Big thanks to the front desk staff, Emily, for being so friendly and helpful, they really made my stay easy and enjoyable

This Hyatt location has declined since our last visits. We are accustomed to clean rooms and clean halls. First thing we noticed when exiting the elevator was a dirty carpet as if it had not been vacuumed for days. Our room’s sheets looked as if they were not changed from the previous occupant. The sheets were stained and looked “slept on”. The floors were dirty as if they were not mopped. We used a towel to wipe a 1’ x 1’ section of floor and the towel turned bark brown. The room had a dirty odor. We expect more from Hyatt. We got the feeling that short cuts are taking place - sacrificing quality for quantity. Probably asking staff to do more with less. We will not be staying at this location in the future.

There is small blood spot in the sheets and hair on the bed. It is not clean. The air conditioning can not be turned off and it has noise when it’s on. I called front desk, and they did response. I got a second room but AC still has noise. What’s worse, at 3am, a group of people from the room next to me made huge party noise until 5am. I can’t sleep at all. I called front desk and the situation was just mitigated a little bit. This stay is disappointing. The staff responses timely but couldn’t fully resolve the issues. I just want a quiet night. My plan to national parks was disrupted. I will never stay at this Hyatt Place again. Or all Hyatt Place.

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel every time we visited Fresno. We had very good time during our last visit in Feb before the new management change. This time, the pet fee increased from $75 to $100. The complimentary breakfast is also gone. We got charged $11/per person without being informed of the change, only found out when we checked out. My puppy has been going there all the time and felt welcomed. Not this time, not a pet friendly place at all. Room is smelly and muddy. Very disappointed

Yelp
New management, NEW PROBLEMS Parking now $10 Breakfast $11, They used to be free Pet hater, used to be friendly, they charged $100 plus nasty attitude towards your pet now instead of $75 Nasty smell in the room Water shower hella slow like coffee drips This hotel is a SCAMMER

Yelp
I travel to Fresno quite often for work, and this has always been my go to hotel- it's close to the office and has always had great amenities and services...but things have changed! Now, you have to pay for parking (it was always free previously). The once free breakfast also comes with a fee. I'm all for changing with the times, but I feel like the quality has gone down with these changes too...the last couple of times, either me or one of my colleagues also staying here have complained of the room smelling odd. Also, the cleanliness of the hotel isn't quite what it used to be. Not that this should deter you from staying here...maybe if you didn't know the previous glory, you won't mind how it is now. I however, may be on the hunt for a new "go to hotel" for my Fresno stays.

Yelp
This is review is NOT based on the rooms or staying over night at this hotel. This review is based on my place of employment having a meeting in one of the conference rooms. There was plenty of parking all around the hotel. I was able to walk around the lobby which was spotless and serene. There was snacks and drinks you can purchase. There was plenty of seats and tables for guests. Now inside the meeting room where we were at was hot. The staff said the AC was on but maybe the vents were not working in this room. It made the meeting a bit uncomfortable. I would stay at this hotel if I needed one.

Yelp
After 4 days here I can give 4 solid star. Cons: dark hallway, auto set up in room which makes clicking sound often, disturbing my sleep, no microwave, iron not working, soap container was empty, breakfast $11, two elevators and took a long time to areive on my floor. Room can use brighter light. Im here for work and difficult to look at my computer screen. The room's light is dimmed. Pros: spacious lobby area, spacious room, fluffy pillows, indoor swimming pool, easy parking, decent customer service.

Michael L.

Yelp
I understand their policy but the wife and I got the flu really bad the day before I was supposed to check in. They refused to cancel and refund my reservation. One night is worth contaminating all your staff and other guests? I suppose they knew I would do the right thing and stay in my house until the sickness passes.

Yelp
I travel to Fresno about once a quarter and have chosen this Hyatt Place as my regular spot for my last five trips. There were significant changes in how the hotel charges between my October 2024 and November 2024 visit. I am not pleased. Upon check in I was told that they now charge $10 to park my vehicle and breakfast would also cost $11, instead of being included in the price of my room. I have some thoughts: instead of nickel and diming me, just increase the room cost. This menu list of charges for items that were included in my stay only a month ago is insulting. Even more frustrating was that when my colleague checked in, he was NOT charged for his vehicle. As a business traveler, I am a steward of my company 's money and this felt insulting. Also, when I booked the hotel through our travel website, Concur, the new price additions weren't called out. In addition to that, I was housed on the fifth floor where there was apparently a leak. The hallway leading to my room had towels laid across the carpeting and warning signs everywhere. I wasn't given a heads up at check in, so as I started walking down the hall, it actually appeared to be closed off. My room was right on the other side of the wet towels laid out and soiled on the hallway floor. Listen, I work in facilities and understand building issues are inevitable. However, I also know that I work hard to keep my customers away from facility fails. I'm not sure why I wasn't redirected or at least given a heads up. Everything was still in place the next morning when I checked out. Of course, the white towels on the carpet were now filthy with all of the footprints and suitcase wheels drug over it. Hyatt, I'm going to look for a new hotel for my Fresno visits. Shame on you for having inconsistently applied fees AND nickel and diming your guests.

Macy X.

Yelp
Disappointed, I messaged the place prior to arrival to see if the pool was open, they responded yes and upon check in, the pool was closed for "maintenance" during our stay. Breakfast was average. Room was great and neat but the bathroom door does not lock. There's no switch to turn on vent. Also the shower doors make a lot of noise when closing/opening. The room door makes a really loud noise when it closes. The door does not close all the way, so make sure you close it manually. I only booked the place due to the indoor pool and it's opening but it did not deliver. Tsk tsk.

Yelp
Stayed at the Hyatt Place on Wednesday 9/10 for one night. Room 230 had bed bugs. Not a good experience right now!!!

Jared Y.

Yelp
Had to change rooms because the shower water pressure was abysmal. New room: - toilet didn't flush well - tv kept rebooting if you changed channels too fast - internet is an atrocious 9Mbps down?!? This is unacceptable in 2025 - piloting a program to charge for sub par breakfast - fire alarm testing at 7:30am instead of the posted 9am - bathroom door doesn't lock because the door is off kilter - no microwave in the room - iron didn't work - room hardly got cleaned despite being on the daily cleaning list (1 time during the whole week) - only one elevator works (stairs are quicker)

Yelp
We recently stayed at Hyatt Place Fresno and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff (namely Martha, Andrea, Emily, Derek, Sergio, and Jasmine) were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They were efficient in checking me in and provided me with valuable information about the hotel and the surrounding area. During our stay, we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and the service was exceptional. We must recognize the employee Leticia was attentive, and friendly. Leticia was constantly on top of the refills, and keeping the place clean where she made our overall breakfast experience was very enjoyable. Mah-Mood

Yelp
Great looking newer hotel with expansive, wraparound lobby and rooms that include a spacious sectional sofa area. Service was always friendly, especially at breakfast. Plenty of parking and easy to get to. This property is a very good model for the newer Hyatt Place brand, which hopefully can keep expanding into smaller & medium sized cities. Some mechanical issues with shower door and toilet seat, but will attribute that to one-off and not representative of the whole property.

Yelp
Stayed a few days this week. I'm going to be using this hotel for some business travel over the next few months. The hotel is nice. It's in a very business oriented area. There are a lot of medical businesses and a giant Kaiser Hospital right across the street. There is a huge amount of parking. It took me roughly 10 mins to get here from the Amtrak Station. It's roughly 15 minutes from Fresno Airport. Check in was very smooth. I did check in late. The staff was all very kind and nice. They were very sociable. One thing I did notice is they appeared short staffed. They had a nice breakfast free until about 10am while I was there. The had cereal, eggs both scrambled and hard boiled. In addition they had potatoes, sausage, fruit and some bacon. They had coffee and juices as well. The days I was there getting food during the evening was hard. I don't think the kitchen was open. I used Uber eats which was no issue. The room was nice. Perfect for me. Bathroom was spacious. There is a living room sitting area and bed. Huge flat screen. Pictures are attached. My room was in the back along the highway. It was a little noisy but I live in the city so not terrible. I was on the second floor. I'd recommend that if you sleep lightly ask for s room on a higher floor. Since the hotel has taken out rugs you can hear the guests above you. The people above me I Nick named thunder foot. It started at 4:30 am. All in all minus Thunder Foot and not being able to get food things were great. One more thing my room was never cleaned. I was only there a few days but making my bed or getting done towels would have been nice but I understand the staff was short so it's good. Management just needs to do better for them or hit the rooms themselves to make sure things get done. I know I wasn't the only one. Thanks to the staff that was there! Especially the guys running the bar! You pour great drinks!

Yelp
Great stay overall! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location. Minor downsides were thin walls and pricey parking, but still a solid experience. Would stay again!

Sherwyn R.

Yelp
Stayed here two nights over Easter weekend. Had a great time as Andrea was very friendly and welcoming! The rooms were nice and clean! The hot breakfast in the morning was great with a variety of options! Highly recommend staying here and will stay here the next time I am in Fresno!

Nikola H.

Yelp
Clean and nice service. I like that it is not too close to the center so I can separate the Vegas experience and peaceful rest time.

Mike C.

Yelp
Stayed here monthly for years and watched in decline and staff continually change over. Now they are charging for parking and charging for breakfast. The security of the place is absent and cars are broken into constantly. Stay elsewhere. This place is not worth what it has become.

Patti H.

Yelp
Stayed here last night on a 2 day business trip. Been here before and it was OK but this particular room is very tired and furniture is beat up. And room was somehow forgotten for servicing so had to go to desk for clean towels. Mattress was past it's wear and uncomfortable. Last time staying here, too many others.

Julissa C.

Yelp
Negative! DO NOT stay here. I stayed here overnight for a local work event thinking that location was a good, across the street from a hospital so thought should be safe. Ugh i didn't do any research or read any of these reviews. It would've saved me hundreds of dollars from a smashed window and robbery into my car. Management, Sergio was very nonchalant about the incident and said these incidents happen ALL the time, claims "we post signs about leaving anything in your cars and there are tons of negative reviews online" omg Hyatt what a joke, how is this place thriving?!! -- he said "the hotel parking lot backs to the freeway where there are multiple homeless encampment's and well these are the people that do these things... "-- On top of that the complaints from the AC furnace noise is accurate; it was annoying, I turned it off completely! So a bad night, & worst morning ever! Never ever again!!

Yelp
Typical Hyatt place, everything is clean new and it is very quiet. There are decent places to eat nearby and the staff is very friendly.

Yelp
I stayed here for a business assignment from Sunday to Friday. Hotel was not packed and majority of the people staying there seem to also be there for business. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and I hardly had to wait for any service. SPECIAL THANKS to Margaret who made my stay there so pleasant. Everytime i saw her she was busy cleaning hotel and setting up the fresh food at breakfast. MOST IMPORTANTLY she greeted me every single time we cross paths with a smile! A GENUINE smile not a forced one!You can tell she has the best attitude while at work! Thank you! The room was comfy and clean for the most part. Modern looking and strong AC for the dreaded heat in the Central Valley Area. Wish the pillows would be more fresh. Seem like older linen or something. I had an Amazon package delivered there no problem and i must say the complimentary hot breakfast was so tasty especially the eggs . I also noticed they served everything in Le Creuset pans which can be loved and hated by any. It was nice touch for me and maybe heavy for the others lol. Gym was adequate, clean and used it for the majority of my trip. Weights, treadmill etc. I will definitely stay here again when i am assigned to the area and look forward to the service and fluffy breakfast eggs lol.

Yelp
Don't Accept a "Highway Side" Room! This is a great hotel and I would have given 5 stars if they had given me a street side/east side ("Kaiser Permanente side") room. I didn't know to reject a highway side room and I paid the price. The room is fine until you try to sleep. If you're sensitive that way then it'll be a problem. It's California Highway 41, also known as the Yosemite Freeway. And it's 150 feet from the hotel and it is loud and bustling. Loud enough to interrupt the sleep of some people - if that's you avoid the highway side! But the room was above par and breakfast was quite a bit above average for a hotel. Try the soudough toast - Wow!

Samantha R.

Yelp
Beware, carpet beetle infestation, and rooms are dirty. Last time I was here I got room with mold and hair- this time it's carpet beetles. Very poorly unkept,

Yelp
Problems happen. I get that. Beyond shitty service.... Totally not acceptable if 90% of your business is service. The door to the bathroom suddenly got stuck in the morning, making it impossible to use the toilet in the morning, so I called the front desk saying we needed the door fixed. Was told they would send someone soon. So after 10 minutes, I called the front desk again if anyone is coming. I was told they would notify the right group again. After another 10-15 minutes, I called again, and this time asked to speed to the manager. One would think that should be it. But no. I was on hold so long the front desk came back to my waiting line THREE times before saying I could either talk to the manager in person or on the phone. The maintenance person finally came during my marathon phone wait call and even though I told him that I would hold the door open so he could work on the actual bathroom door, he spend more time trying to figure out a way to prop open the door, I finally told him to stop, since I was already holding it open. It was an easy fix with a step ladder and tools. Done in 3 minutes once it was started. Then I had to wait 5 more minutes to finally talk to a manager. Patrick the GM was there and told him there is obviously problems with communication with his team. He leaves to talk to the appropriate people and calls me 15 minutes later with some crappy excuse why the service was lacking, and to top all of that off, he says that's it because I wasn't a "loyalty member" and to call my booking agent. With round of failure, why in the hell would I ever want to be part of any program with them??!!!!! ....or even book again for this location?!!! Hyatt. You. Fail. .....at every possible level.

Yelp
If you come here try Emily's famous whiskey-Rita! The BEST!! Really enjoyed our stay because of the staff both Emily's and Cody made it a great experience. Thank you

Yelp
I booked a room for my mother who was coming into town for a few days and asked if they could do something special. When she arrived their was a nice letter from the staff and a bottle of champagne. I was very happy they could help make my mothers time a little more enjoyable. Staff was excellent.

Yelp
Noise pollution inside from the cooling units. Been here more than five times. Only because I'm preferred member. Sometimes you stay awake because of this noise levels. Sometimes even at top floors because of bad soud proofing you can here vehicle honking n engine noises. If you're room is close to the lift good luck!

Yelp
Beautiful, fancy Nice. Bu unfortunately understaffed, phone not working in room and air conditioning heating off and on. The most annoying for me is no fresh coffee made in morning, asked fella at desk and he just took his merry time, meanwhile I'm having caffeine withdrawals. No one at front desk, for the price they charge not worth it.

Yelp
This was my first visit to this location. It's a great property. Recently built. Great staff. It's a clean and spacious hotel with nice accommodations. PROS * Ample parking, covered in the back * Charging stations * Nearby restaurants * Well appointed interior with clean lines * Lots of lobby seating * Great staff * Nice-sized breakfast area * Clean and fairly quiet * Moderately priced CONS * Rooms have hard floors so not as quiet * Room doors close hard and loudly * Near the freeway so noise could be an issue for light sleepers * No microwave but not a deal breaker
google avatar

Gustavo T.

Yelp
Stayed here for only one night so here is my review. They have a big eating area for their breakfast buffet. Their rooms are modern and spacious. I wish we could of tried out their pool but had no time. They have a good amount of parking and a good location for where we were going too. Looking forward to coming back.

Allison M.

Yelp
Hands down best business hotel in the Fresno area. Very clean, quiet and amazing staff!

Diamond O.

Yelp
At $300 a night, one would think the accommodation would include a microwave. Gross shower/no tub. Strange noises, including traffic No ground level rooms available.

Tina N.

Yelp
Some staff unprofessional and unfriendly. Various complaints about staff but wanted to comment about the most obviously unhappy staff member. Kids wanted to swim in the pool mid day. When we went, there were no pool towels. I walked to the front desk to let them know. The blonde haired, heavy set woman at the desk just said "okay." It was a weird interaction because I didn't know if that meant someone would bring any. Returned to the pool and later on, the same front desk woman entered the pool area with towels and looked very unhappy. As soon as she entered, my husband said loudly, thank you!! She looked at him and said nothing. After she left the towels, I said loudly, thank you - she clearly heard because she looked at me (and the place is an echo chamber) and said nothing. She obviously was not happy to help.

Beautiful E A.

Yelp
Very rude front desk people an racist they don't get there job done they very slow nothing fix in there room tv always out not working I wish I can give it no stars they don't have no respect for people of color I will never stay here again horrible service an rooms

Yelp
8/24/2019 We decided to stay here for a night for our staycation this time since it's brand new. We arrived at the front desk around noon but she was nice enough to let us check in early. The lobby is nice and spacious, very clean with nice decor. The room is clean , still smells new and good size with seating area next to the bed. The room comes with a small fridge but not the microwave. Bathroom is spacious since we got the ADA room ( because I wanted a bathtub ). The counter space in the bathroom is a bit small but manageable. The staff are friendly and nice here , the indoor pool is nice and clean. The gym is pretty good size and super clean. Everything is nice and clean since it's new. The breakfast was pretty good , cage free scrambled eggs, bacons , herb and garlic potatoes were all delicious. They have waffles, toasts, Greek yogurt, fruits , orange juice, grapefruit juice , iced tea, coffee , hot tea , oat meal , cereals . Breakfast room has comfortable seatings and pretty spacious. Ample parking space. Close proximity to River Park shopping center , convenient because so close to the restaurants and stores etc ... highly recommended!

Yelp
Clean rooms , big bathroom , good pressure in the bathroom and clean towel . Easy check in and free breakfast pretty good for covid times.

Yelp
I picked this hotel because Hyatts are reliable. The staff are friendly and efficient. If this hotel has a manager he/she is not doing their job. Trash can at elevators on 1st floor was constantly overflowing. I told the front desk and it was emptied but promptly filled up again. Maybe need a bigger can or even 2? Breakfast is served and cleaned up by a single person. Totally overwhelmed. Today no utensils. Food was not up to Hyatt standards. No manager to assist during busy time. Ran out of clean dishes (plastic). The beds and pillows were not comfortable. The sheets were short so unable to pull the bedding up around my neck. Best thing here is pet friendly. Pet relief area at corner of parking. Poop bag holder was empty. Security guard in parking lot walking around all night made us feel safe. No problems. Overpriced for the room and breakfast quality. Room was lacking a table and chairs where we could eat takeout. Great WiFi easy connection. I've lost confidence in Hyatt. I'll check reviews before another Hyatt booking.
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
Our car got broken into while we were checking in with the front desk. We did not intend to leave items in our car overnight but needed our room key to start unloading. The police said this hotel is targeted often for car break ins. There is a bustling homeless population around the corner and they target this area since its a "nicer hotel" they can "get better things" from break ins. The front desk was as helpful as possible. But it seems like this is an ongoing problem for those traveling and moving (like us). I have seen other Expedia and yelp reviews with the same issue. The hotel needs to hire security to increase the safety for cars in their lot. Overall, the actual hotel was clean, nice, pet friendly, the breakfast was average.

K C.

Yelp
Hyatt is not safe or accommodating. It has the cheapest toilet paper, they don't provide any basic extra essentials. They don't even provide at least once a week sheet changes or enough towels for long-term stays unless you call and constantly request it. They don't offer security or monitoring for their parking lot, allowing individuals with trailers to take up five spaces and then telling paying guest that they should go several streets over and park their car on the street. The guest laundry facilities are not cleaned regularly and the inside door areas of the machines are dirty.

Yelp
Not worth 180.00 a night. We thought we'd be staying in a Hyatt quality hotel while in Fresno, CA, this weekend. The rooms are stuffed with a lot of cheap stuff. The floors in the hotel are not clean and there is a Cost Plus odor in the room. Our bathroom had a chip on the bathroom vanity. The Room did not have a disinfectant seal. Our room had a door for an adjoining room. But, the hotel was not full. When I called to complain, I was told it was the room that I ordered. I explain that I ordered a standard king room. The pictures make the hotel look more than what it is and why Hyatt would lend its name to this hotel is not clear to me? I would suggest the Marriott Courtyard, The Springfield, The Ramada by Wyndham or the La Quinta Inn, they are cheaper and cleaner!

Sonie T.

Yelp
Don't stay here unless you drive a tank. Our vehicles had 3 not 1 but 3 rear windows broken in broad daylight. When I asked the front desk if they have a problem with vandalism, they replied that yeah it happens a lot this time of year! The front staff were not helpful at all so this leads me to ponder if they really knew something? And they don't have access to video footage. Crazy huh! I didn't really see any undesirable residents near by so it's kinda of sketchy that only certain vehicles were broken into. I have video footage from my vehicle security camera and it only showed guests and the front desk staff pass by right before the window "exploded" says hotel staff. I only gave it 1 star because I didn't get stabbed. Last time I'm staying there. Stay away if you like your windows in one piece.

Yelp
The hotel looks nice and clean but please DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY this place is so noisy, due to the freeway, Aso the darkness of the room is not good. The A/C is noice as well, what a bad experience. We paid $217.03 for a one night.! I don't mind the price, but you can get a better deal.! $217.03 for a noisy room where you can sleep.... No way.!

Yelp
Fresno, Ca-- stayed at the Hyatt Place in Fresno for 2 days(Friday & Saturday) visiting with relatives. Thought with Hyatt's reputation that the hotel would be nice but boy was I wrong. Room was kinda dirty, bathroom was in pretty bad shape. No microwave, seemed like they went really cheap with the cable tv as well.(had a very limited amount of channels) Paid over $520.00 dollars for 2 nights, for that much money was just expecting a bit nicer hotel. The complimentary breakfast was pretty bad, the coffee was terrible. Thought that a Hyatt would have higher standards. I know it's hard nowadays to get good employees with the pandemic and all but was kinda disappointed with this place. Would not recommend!

Yelp
Great Hotel!....but horrible customer service from the front desk guy. Make sure you don't ask help from the manager named Sergio. He's definitely not Hyatt material. The other staff are great tho!

Rude inconsiderate employees. I book online, drove over 2 hours for them to tell me they are fully booked. When I asked about my reservation, they just said sorry without giving me a reason. NEVER BOOKING HERE AGAIN

Yelp
Very nice Hyatt !! It's new property only 6 months old . Hotel is clean & modern . Staff was nice & helpful . They even let me check in early. They have a bar and and a restaurant with limited items. There is a nice gym & a indoor pool . They do offer a complimentary breakfast. It was ok . Rooms are a great size . Bathroom was huge and shower had great water pressure. Love the lighting in the bathroom!! Beds were very comfortable & there was a fridge in the room . I will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Yelp
I came to Fresno for work and I decided to stay at the Hyatt because the Hyatt has a good name. But boy oh boy was I surprised. Not this Hyatt! I booked my stay for 10 days and since I had paid for it already I had no choice but to stay there. When I checked in to the room, there was some hair that belonged to someone else in the bathroom (insert barf emoji) and there was also doggy hairs on the couch because they allow pets there. I had unpacked my stuff and was about to take a seat on the couch and when I moved the strategically placed throw pillow from the couch, there was someone's DNA (you get the metaphor) all on the couch cushion :o I really would like to not have seen that. So, one of the supervisors offered for me to change rooms. What really upset me during my stay is that there's supposed to be room service every 3 days and during my 10 day stay, I only received room service ONCE which was my fourth day there and I had to ask the front desk to tell them to clean my room. I hate having to ask people to do their job bc that's not the type of person I am. The cleaning staff are such a disappointment there, and I can't say much about their front lobby staff either. They hardly wear their masks and when you call to get room service, no one answers. They offered complimentary breakfast there, but, not everyone eats sausages and eggs with sugary cereal and sugary yogurt. But the thought was nice . I gave it one star because the location is close to a big plaza that has a target, best buy and a cinema. But other than that, I wouldn't suggest this particular Hyatt unless you don't care about the little details. Overall for me, I would say that it wasn't the best experience and I wouldn't recommend it here.
