Hyatt Regency Amsterdam

My experience at Hyatt Regency Amsterdam was nothing short of amazing! I checked in on the day of the AWS Outwage, and my debit card was not working, and I couldn't understand why. Their team made me feel genuinely welcome — warm, professional, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. Isaiah and his team, Apostolos, Dor, Ilias, and Addecka, made my difficult situation bearable; honestly, they made it pleasant. Their encouraging words, that everything would work out, allowed me to breathe on days when I wanted to panic. The room was spacious. Thank you, Ilias, for picking the perfect room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large windows overlooking the canal let in an abundance of natural light — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The Regency Club was one of the best I have experienced. April and Sha were lovely hostesses! I also loved the hotel’s location — close to everything yet peaceful and quiet. The breakfast buffet was outstanding with a variety of fresh, high-quality options. My favorite server from Kenya always made sure I was well taken care of. Every detail, from the service to the atmosphere, exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Hyatt Regency Amsterdam to anyone looking for comfort, style, and exceptional hospitality while in Amsterdam.

This hotel location is really nice. We felt like we had access to everything pretty easily without being in the major hustle and bustle of things. The hotel staff were all very helpful and efficient. I want to give a special shout out to April in the Regency lounge for taking extra time to make sure I had everything I needed.

Exceptional stay at the Hyatt Regency Amsterdam. I am globalist and the upgrade and service were impeccable. Dore (?) who checked us in was top notch - he was attentive and made us feel very welcome. It was our first time at this hotel and he was very patient explaining all the amenities, service and neighborhood to us. He made the stay even better with his service and attitude. Great Hotel!

I have had the privilege of staying at this particular Hyatt twice now and have been very happy with my experience. The location is out of the main hustle and bustle of the middle of Amsterdam, but is a short subway ride to the center when needed. This also makes it very easy to get to the hotel via Centraal Station. ||||The finish out is up to date and fresh, and each time our rooms have been very clean and comfortable. We have not tried the hotel restaurant as we prefer to eat out and about. There is also a convenient Albert Heijn grocery store across the street, which we have been to several times. ||||We had one small issue that was remedied right away at the start of this stay. Our online check-in stated that we were put into a room with two twins, when we had booked a king. Upon arrival, the reception team was quick to fix this for us immediately and had another room ready. ||||Highly recommend a stay in this lovely hotel!

We stayed 2 days at Amsterdam after our river cruise. This is a beautiful hotel. Room is spacious and hotel is very closed to tram station and subway. ||The Indonesian restaurant served yummy food. The reception customer service was most helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel

We stayed here for two nights after our Viking Rhine cruise and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a sleek, modern design with immaculate rooms that were both comfortable and stylish. The location was excellent—close to everything we needed. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help. When my wife had a minor fall, they immediately brought ice and first aid supplies, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone looking for a clean, modern hotel with excellent service and attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Location - Friendly Staff Reviewed Jun 18, 2024 My wife and I spent a few days at the HR Amsterdam. We were very pleased with the property, staff and all the amenities. As Globalist, we had access to the Club Lounge...it was a very nice respite before and after trekking through the city. We walk 6-8 miles every day and the lounge was a nice place to relax and have a beverage with a little room to stretch out. The lounge staff was friendly and prompt to keep the area stocked and clean. Breakfast was in the restaurant and a bit chaotic. The food was standard hotel buffet fare with made to order eggs. We never seemed to be able to get our eggs ordered/delivered how we liked so we finally just ate the scrambled from the buffet. The buffet was tasty but not the most extravagant that I have seen at a Hyatt property. I would have prefered a more serene breakfast in the club lounge. The hotel is located near a tram, train and bus stop making for easy transit. Overall a very good stay...we would definitely return to the HR Amsterdam. Date of stay: May 2024

I had a wonderful experience — the staff were exceptionally friendly and reactive, always attentive and ready to help with a smile. The food was excellent, with great quality and attention to detail in every dish. Overall, a very enjoyable visit that I would happily recommend!
